From the Desk of Steve Shultz:

Steve ShultzKathie Walters has got to be one of the most deep AND humorous writers I've ever known.

Her ministry specializes in teaching others to walk in the supernatural on a daily basis, and she makes it very fun!

This is a very important message on PROVISION in the Kingdom of God. Believe me, if you have need and have been praying for provision and finances for your ministry and family, you'll want to read through this slowly and carefully, and forward this on to everyone you know.

God has a COW to give you, so you can prosper. I hope your curiosity is piqued now as you read Kathie's word! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

"Ask God to Give You a Cow!" Plus "Do Angels Help You Raise Money?"

A "Family" Thing

A couple of weeks ago, while online, I saw someone put out a fundraiser for help with a mission trip. I chose to give to it because I'm an investor, but then another lady on his page rebuked him and said, "If it was really God, you wouldn't be asking, you would just believe and God would send it supernaturally." I understood what she was saying, and God has many times supplied supernaturally for me, as I am sure He has for you, but sometimes, God wants it to be a "family" thing. He uses many, or several, or one person, but His intention is that we are to be Spirit led. Sometimes God speaks to me and tells me to help someone; sometimes I feel a nudge when I see or read of a need. God doesn't have formulas. His Spirit is always moving in life.

Do the Angels Help You Raise Money?

Some years ago, I was speaking at a "Women of the Word" conference in New England. In the second, main service I was sitting on the platform while Iverna Tompkins was speaking. I looked up at the top balcony and I saw a tall, finely dressed angel from Africa. I knew that he came to the conference to help some people go to Africa.

I asked if I could share publicly about the angel, and they said, "OK." So I told the crowd (I think there were about 2,000 people at this conference) that there was an angel from Africa who had come to help some people get to Africa. After the meeting, a few ladies came to me all excited. They said, "We are going to Africa for a conference because we are helping and ministering, but we need about $20,000 for us all to go." They said that they were selling Scripture scarves, but the people in charge of the conference had placed their merchandise table on the third floor. However, the conference meeting where all the people were was on the first floor, so no one was seeing the scarves.

At the next meeting, I took a handful of their scarves and started waving them around on the platform during the worship time. Afterward, everyone wanted to know where the scarves were so they could buy one of two. Those ladies sold all of their scarves by the end of the conference, and had more than enough money to go to Africa. So, yes, angels do help you accomplish the purposes of God in your life, and help you raise money.

How Would You Like to Have a Cow?

We all have things to do and places to go ... we have to prosper. Some of you have heard me talk and pray for "cows" for people. Cows represent a continual means of provision, and God is dropping cows (small businesses) on people. The Lord gives cows because we need finances. We have things to do and places to go.

One time, my family and I were getting ready to go on a mission trip (and of course mission trips cost money). The cost was too much to take out of our general ministry account, especially since my daughters were also going on mission trips. So I talked to God about it.

"Listen, Lord," I said. "If You want me to keep going on these mission trips, You will have to give me some more money." You may think that is a bit direct, but I don't believe in religious forms of speech – God isn't impressed anyway. Better to just say what you mean.

"I will give you a cow," He answered. I was bit puzzled to say the least, and I replied, "Well, our neighbors don't even like our dog, let alone a cow. And besides, I think there is probably something in the community by-laws about farm animals." I could imagine my neighbors' faces as they passed our house in their cars, looking out and seeing a COW roaming around! I could imagine our dog, Daisy, leaving home.

"No, you don't understand," the Lord said to me. "Right, I don't understand," I replied. The Lord said, "A cow represents a continual means of provision." This sounded interesting. He went on to explain some more about the cows: "When the children of Israel went into the Promised Land, it was said that it was a land flowing with milk and honey, but there weren't rivers of milk flowing where you just walked up and scooped up a bucket of milk. There was a little work involved (milking the cows)." I began to get the idea.

"I will give you a book, and that will be a cow for you," God told me. Well, Creation House Publishers had already asked me to write a book, so I did have something to say. "Oh, OK – thank You," I replied!

So I wrote Living in the Supernatural, and that became my very first "cow." I didn't write the book to make money – I wrote it because the Lord gave me a revelation to share; but still it is out there in the marketplace and it brings extra income (milk) into our ministry, enabling us to do some extra mission trips.

Then the Lord told me something else: "If you are faithful with that cow, I will give you another cow. In fact, I can give you a whole herd of cows." Now I have many cows and my husband, David, also has many cows (books and CDs) – that's almost a herd, I think!

God is Giving "Cows" in All Shapes and Forms

Your "cow" may not be a book, but God is giving cows in all shapes and forms. It's amazing what is inside of people. Most have never done anything much with their gifts and talents, but you should pray and hold your gifts and talents before the Lord. Maybe He will turn something into a cow for YOU.

Of course He doesn't want it to consume you, because He wants His Spirit to consume you. Just listen and see what He says! And as Mary said, "Whatsoever He says unto you, do it." It's one thing to have a gift or talent or idea, but you need a good marketer – and you know what, the Holy Spirit is a great marketer. As it says in James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraides not; and it shall be given him."

I tell people when I pray (because I pray for cows to be released in my conferences), "Don't join the next multi-level marketing thing that comes your way. Keep your antenna up. God can show you something you've never thought of. He could point you to something that has never entered your head before." It could be something you already have!

A friend of mine asked me to meet her and her friend, so I had lunch with them at a restaurant in Atlanta. My friend introduced me to Janice VanCronkhite (jvcartworks.com). Janice and her husband, David, had a great ministry in Atlanta, but it was largely a ministry to the poor, and they had hit a rough spot and were getting behind with their bills and expenses. I told Janice about God's cows. She decided she needed a cow right then. I prayed for Janice and I said, "I believe your cow is in your garage." Janice asked, "Do you mean my car?" I didn't think her "cow" was her car, and I replied, "No, but it's in your garage." Her friend who was with us said, "Oh, it must be her paintings."

Janice explained that she painted prophetic pictures. I asked her what she did with them. "I give them away," Janice answered. I responded back and said, "Your paintings are a cow for your ministry. You can give what God tells you, but you can sell your paintings and even do workshops for people." After this, I prayed and broke the poverty spirit over their ministry and her own thinking. Janice does beautiful prophetic art, and now does great workshops!

Thousands of people have gotten cows from God. God supplies through other ways too, of course. However, money doesn't usually come down from the sky (though I have found supernatural money in my purse many times). God uses people. Ask God for a cow if you want one, but ask in faith, believing Him!
