"I Will Show the World What Justice Looks Like"
Mary Dorian, Albuquerque, NM

Recently during prayer, I heard the Lord's voice speak out to me, "I will show the world what justice looks like. I will demonstrate it through My Church." The Lord continued to say I needed to understand how He sees justice and that there is a new revelation of heavenly justice which will fall on the earth from Heaven. As we stand ready to experience a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this hour, we, the Church, will also be anointed to bring justice. I felt that this impartation would last well beyond 2019 and into future seasons and years to come.

The Lord of Justice and Righteousness

In Jeremiah 23:5-6 (AMPC), the Word says, "Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch (Sprout), and He will reign as King and do wisely and will execute justice and righteousness in the land. In His days Judah shall be saved and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is His name by which He shall be called: The Lord Our Righteousness." The Hebrew name Jehovah Tsidkenu means "The Lord our Righteousness." I believe this Scripture speaks of Jesus, "The Lord of Righteousness," executing both justice and righteousness in the land.

Justice is different from judgment. Justice doesn't pronounce a sentence for wrong doing but rather positions those who are weak or broken or without dignity into a place of hope and honor. An example of this is Abraham, who intervened for Sodom and Gomorrah for mercy. It was said of Abraham that righteousness/justice was imputed or given to him through faith. Justice changes the atmosphere from darkness to light.

Romans 3:26 tells us that there was only one possible way for God to give away His righteousness and still be true to justice and mercy, and that was to offer up His own Son. So now, because we stand in the faithfulness of Jesus, God declares us just and righteous in His eyes. Jesus confirmed His ministry to bring justice to the broken and wounded when He read Isaiah 61:1 aloud in the synagogue, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed and commissioned Me to bring good news to the humble and afflicted; He has sent Me to bind up [the wounds of] the brokenhearted, to proclaim release [from confinement and condemnation] to the [physical and spiritual] captives and freedom to prisoners..." So justice is then the establishing of wholeness where there has been brokenness.

In Matthew 12:20 (TPT), Jesus' ministry is this: "He won't brush aside the bruised and broken. He will be gentle with the weak and feeble, until His victory releases justice." Jesus went everywhere doing good. He filled the broken with purpose and established those who were the "least of these" in their identity. Justice is not just a feeling we have in our hearts to give to the poor or needy, but rather it is the immortal declaration of God, that all mankind has been made in His image and likeness, and thus have a right to live in dignity and honor and fulfillment of destiny. Even the very core of our nation is founded on this justice: "That all men are created equal."

The "One Generation"

We, the Church, are living in the beginning of some of the greatest days in world history. We are commissioned by Jesus to establish and bring forth justice to the whole earth. What an honor! Those who are in the cloud of witnesses watching us are cheering us on. We have been positioned to change the world.

Mike Bickle, leader of IHOP in Kansas City, said that the Lord spoke this word to him: "I will change the understanding and the expression of Christianity in the whole earth in one generation." I believe we, who are alive now, are that generation. We will bring justice through signs and wonders. Miracles will happen suddenly, immediately and instantly through us by the power of the Holy Spirit with the assistance of many angelic helpers.
We can't fail, because, "The Lord loves seeing justice on the earth. Anywhere and everywhere you can find His faithful, unfailing love!" (Psalm 33:5 TPT). (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
