Andrew Towe: "God is on the Scene and He's going to OVERFLOW Your Adversary"

Recently, as I was traveling to a conference where I was one of the speakers, I began to pray. It was a lengthy drive, so I had a bit of time to fellowship with the Lord. While I prayed in the Spirit, I heard the Lord say one word to me: OVERFLOW.

After I checked into my hotel room, I looked up the meaning of OVERFLOW. Dictionary.com defined "Overflow" as "to flow or run over, as rivers or water; to flood" and "to inundate". I also searched in Scripture asking for a deeper revelation of exactly what the Lord was communicating to me.

Overflowing My Enemy!

When I opened my Bible, the following words leapt off the page and into my spirit: "And what He did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how He made the water of the Red Sea to OVERFLOW them as they pursued after you, and how the Lord has destroyed them unto this day" (Deut. 11:4 emphasis mine).

God said, "Tell My people that I am going to overflow on their enemy just as I did to Egypt. I drowned them in the Red Sea and I will do the same to the enemy that has relentlessly been pursuing them. Generational curses are being destroyed. Financial bondages are being broken. Word curses are being reversed. Marriages and families are being restored."

Did you hear that? Every assignment of the enemy, which has pursued after you, is about to be decimated! This is your season of deliverance! I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying, "There is judgment being dispensed against your adversary that has tried to destroy you. There is a divine reversal—a complete shift of power. The hunted is now the hunter."

In a vision, I saw an individual who was being terrorized. The tormentor was successful in provoking the individual to despair. However, suddenly the circumstances were reversed. This time, the victim arose with supernatural strength and utterly demolished the oppressor. God is doing that for you even at this moment! There is a reversal coming about in your life. No more running from the enemy, traumatized by fear. TODAY is your day of deliverance. God says, "Enough is enough!" The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives and dwells inside of you. The Holy Spirit's supernatural power is flowing through you to defeat your enemy."

Step Away From the Safe Zone

Your adversary has taken note that you are advancing in the promises of God and he has encompassed you, breathing out his threats and lies. It's not time to retreat! No more running back to what you perceive as your "safe zone". God is with you and is going to OVERFLOW your enemy!

Jesus came so that you would have abundant life until it OVERFLOWS. "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it OVERFLOWS]" (Jn. 10:10 AMP).

The fact that Jesus came, and you received Him as your Savior, canceled out the plot of the enemy for your life, you only need to lay claim of the work He did for you. The devil can't steal, kill or destroy your life when you lay claim to what Jesus did on the Cross! He made you more than a conqueror. You are an overcomer! Stand confidently in this truth: "...for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil" (1 Jn. 3:8). Let Jesus have His way against your enemy. Step aside! God is coming in on your scene and He's going to OVERFLOW your adversary.

And not only is there an OVERFLOW to deliver you from your enemy, but I heard Him say that His OVERFLOW is going to bless you. There is an OVERFLOW of promises that are manifesting this very hour. You have crossed a threshold from the "promise" to the "manifestation".

Crossing the Threshold from Promises to Manifestation

The Prophet Joel declared: "And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall OVERFLOW with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, and the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, My great army which I sent among you" (Joel 2:24-26).

God's people are promised that their threshing floors shall be full of wheat. Wheat is a representation of provision. Wheat sprouts up from the soil after a time of barrenness and then grows into a mass off stalks that will feed the people throughout the year. Some of you have experienced the barren season, but now is time for the harvest. Joel said, "and the vats shall OVERFLOW with wine and oil." Wine in the Bible was associated with joy, celebration and festivity. Oil in the Scripture is referring to fresh oil or a new anointing. This is a time of supernatural harvest, joy and fresh anointing. God said that He will restore the years. When God restores something, He doesn't return it the same to you, He adds value to it.

Do you remember when God promised David complete recovery? It was after the Amalekites invaded his camp at Ziklag and burned it with fire and had taken captive his and his men's wives, daughters, and sons. God said to David, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all" (1 Sam. 30:8). God, however, did not stop with just returning their family members to them. He did exceedingly, abundantly more than David was able to think. "Then David took all the flocks and the herds they had driven before those other livestock, and said, 'This is David's spoil'" (1 Sam. 30:20). David took the spoils of the enemy. Hear me! You are not just going to experience restoration of what has been taken, but also the spoils of the enemy. God is adding value to your recovery.

Let me declare this over us today: God, we extend our faith to EXPECT You to OVERFLOW on our enemies with supernatural deliverance and the OVERFLOW of the manifestation of promises that You have made to us. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
