Kyle T. Miller: "September will be a Month of Divine Supernatural Favor"

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:

We truly are walking into a time of supernatural favor with God...and I've heard this more and more from others.

If you have labored in obedience and faith unto the Lord...you are really going to see some great blessings come your way.

Just read this awesome word from Kyle T. Miller in which he also shares this word of the Lord:

In my meditation recently, the Lord spoke to me and said, "September will be a month of divine, supernatural favor for My people. Tell My people that they will need to receive this favor for the season ahead because great advancement is coming." In the Hebrew, one of the words for favor is "ratson" which means: pleasure, delight, favor, goodwill, acceptance, and will. It comes from the root word "ratsah" which means: to be pleased with, accept favorably.

So God is prophetically saying to us that He wants to give us over-generous, preferential treatment, and show us kindness beyond what is due or even usual for us!

I hope you are greatly encouraged in this article from Kyle, and I think it will touch some of you in a deep way. Know this: YOU are NOT Forgotten! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

The Story of Ruth is an Example of God's Favor in Action

"God is extending His favor to you in this season. You will overcome the obstacles of the last season and shift into a season of joy and abundance!"

The Book of Ruth demonstrates how God's favor can transition us from one of lack and poverty to blessings and prosperity. After her husband and brother-in-law's death, Ruth, the Moabite, decides to follow her mother-in-law Naomi, from Moab back to her home in Judah. Naomi, believing that Ruth and her sister Orpah will have a better chance at survival by moving back in with their families there in Moab, admonishes her daughters-in-law to stay in Moab. Orpah agrees to stay, however, Ruth refuses to stay, believing it is her mission to look after and take care of her widowed mother-in-law. Ruth makes this power declaration of dedication:

"...Wherever you go, I will go; and wherever you lodge, I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and me." (Ruth 1:16-17).

Ruth is a human example of God's covenant with us. Somewhat akin to the covenant that God makes with Abraham in Genesis 12, Ruth makes a pact with Naomi that she will adopt Naomi's culture entirely to ensure that her mother-in-law is taken care of. This is so significant when you consider the life of a widow in Biblical times. Unlike today, in Biblical times if you were a widow, you were considered to be damaged goods. Men typically did not marry widows and the culture of that day did not allow single women to go out and get jobs. Widows had no way of making a living for themselves. This is why the Bible admonished people of that day to take care of widows (see Psalm 68:5; Exodus 22:22-23).

After their husbands died, widows would go back home to live with their families. So, when Ruth makes the declaration that she is going to follow Naomi back to her home in order to care for her as her mother-in-law, this a perfect example of selflessness. By making this declaration, Ruth is saying that she plans to deny herself the opportunity to make a life for herself by making life better for her mother-in-law. This is an example of what the Scripture means when it says (Photo via Pixabay):

"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you." (John 15:12-14)

The word "life" in this Scripture is from the Greek word "psuche'" which means: the soul or the seat of the feelings, desires, affections, aversions (our heart, soul etc.). This Scripture is saying that Jesus demonstrated perfect love by laying down His own desires, agenda and what He may have wanted to do for what was in the best interests of us, His friends.

Can't You Talk Louder, God?

Ruth and Naomi Receive Supernatural Favor for Supernatural Provision

By leaving her family, in what may seem to be her only opportunity to be provided for, Ruth makes a major sacrifice. Ruth decides to put the needs of her mother-in-law above her own needs. This sacrifice, though, puts Ruth in the perfect position to make a divine contact with someone who literally changes her life forever.

"So God is prophetically saying to us that He wants to give us over-generous, preferential treatment and show us kindness beyond what is due or even usual for us!"

When Ruth and Naomi arrive in Judah they realize that they need financial provision so that they can eat. It was harvest time, so Ruth decided to go to Boaz's farm. Boaz was a very rich farmer in town. Ruth would go to Boaz's farm every day to pick up the extras of what was harvested. God gave Ruth so much favor with Boaz, that he began to ask his workers to leave more food behind for Ruth and Naomi. Boaz eventually falls in love with Ruth and they get married. In a relatively short period of time, Ruth goes from being a poor widow to being the wife of one of the richest men in Judah! God gave Ruth a supernatural favor that shifted her from poverty to prosperity.

What God is Saying to YOU in This Season

God is extending His favor to you in this season. You will overcome the obstacles of the last season and shift into a season of joy and abundance! God is setting you up for your breakthrough by allowing you to go through tests of obedience, like Ruth. The Holy Spirit is telling me that many of you who are reading this article have made sacrifices, like Ruth, where you opted to do things that helped others. Yet, it was in helping others that caused you to personally lose things.

God wants you to know that you are not forgotten. He sees everything that you have given up personally for others. You are not forgotten. Ruth made a great sacrifice for Naomi. However, this act of sacrifice qualified her for an amazing blessing. God is saying to you that the sacrifices you made in the last season have now qualified you for the most amazing blessings — so much blessing that you will be completely amazed!

God is Encompassing YOU with Favor

Whenever the Lord gives me a word for the Body of Christ, I always ask that He gives me a Scripture that supports what I think I am hearing. I like to confirm the prophetic-Rhema word with His Scripture (logos) to ensure that what I am hearing is from Him. The Scripture the Lord gave me as a confirmation that this is a season of favor is in Psalm 5:11-12.

"But let all those that put their trust in Thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love Thy name be joyful in thee. For Thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt Thou compass him as with a shield." (Photo via Pixabay)

This Scripture states that the favor of God is going to be with us so strongly in this season that God is literally going to surround us with favor, like a shield. This means that no matter what the enemy does to try and sabotage God's plans in our lives, it won't prosper because God's favor will compass us as a shield!

A Prayer to Release Supernatural Favor

Pray this with me: Heavenly Father, You have said that this is the season that You are giving me supernatural favor. You have said that You are now rewarding me for all of the sacrifices I have made to make other people's lives better. So Lord, just like Ruth, I receive Your supernatural favor. I thank You that You are compassing me with favor as a shield. I receive Your divine instruction to do what is needed to manifest this favor in my life. In Jesus' name, amen!
