Reading through Holly Watson's latest word makes it apparent that God WANTS our involvment. Read here as she shares:

I've had several encounters through the night seasons recently that I believe are linked together and are prophetically significant. Like many of our ancestors throughout the Bible, dreams, visions, supernatural visitations, and angelic activity are common avenues for receiving divine revelation from the Lord (Matthew 2:13, Numbers 12:6). In Job 33:14-16 Scripture says, "For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction."
The word "ears" in this verse according to Strong's dictionary means, "to uncover the ear to reveal; the receiver of divine revelation." To uncover the ear means to open up our sense of hearing to what might otherwise be hidden from our natural senses. When Scripture says, "God speaks in one way or another..." it leaves room for God to speak through a variety of means. Paul (Saul at the time) had an audible encounter with the voice of God in Acts 9 where he heard the Lord speaking to him out of Heaven (Acts 9:4). God spoke to Baalam through a donkey to warn him of impending danger (Numbers 22). In these most recent encounters that I've had with the Lord, I sense the Spirit of the Lord releasing fresh, revelatory insight in what might seem like unusual ways for some.

We are definitely in a time of increased revelation and angelic activity (Revelation 4:1). A host of angelic messengers, carrying new assignments from Heaven, are releasing new strategies to the people of God through supernatural means. To him who has an ear to hear, watch and see if God does not reveals Himself, in the most powerful ways, in the next few years!
Take the City!
I was awakened out of my sleep recently through a gentle whisper saying, "Take the city." Not long after this first whisper occurred, did I hear a more urgent voice, beckoning, "Take the city!" It was on the third occasion that I knew God was announcing His plans to an end-time remnant, when the voice of an angelic messenger drew me out of my sleep and announced three times, boldly, "Take the city! Take the city! Take the city!"
"And you shall rise from your ambush and take possession of the city, for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand. And it will be that when you have taken the city, that you shall set the city on fire..." (Joshua 8:7-8)
In Joshua chapter 8 the Lord spoke to Joshua and instructed him to go into the city of Ai and take possession of the land. The Lord gave Joshua a special strategy for victory over the city by gathering together mighty men of valor who were experienced on the battlefield and trained for war. When God gave Joshua his marching orders to go in and possess the land of Ai, He instructed Joshua to move strategically through the city, but to stay in the ambush until the proper time for him to advance.
Before Joshua moved from Bethel (House of God) to Ai (place of gathering the spoils of war), God led Joshua and his men to a lodging place in the valley, as a training ground to exercise strategy and learn obedience. Joshua had the Word of the Lord as his strong tower and a remnant of believers who rallied with him to plunder the camp of Ai (Joshua 8:1-3). Overthrow and Take the Spoils of War
The significance of the Lord leading us to Joshua "taking the city" of Ai in the year of 2018 – The Year of Possessing the Gates of our Enemies – is evidence that God is moving through the land to advance His Kingdom and overthrow the works of darkness! The number "2018" in Strong's Concordance is linked to the word "overthrow". It is also linked to the Scripture verse in Joshua 8:2 where God likens the triumph of Jericho as a miraculous sign to how He promises to bless us with prosperity in our promised land. The word "overthrow" is connected to taking the spoils of war for the advancement of the Kingdom.
We are in an appointed time upon the earth where God's divine order is moving, shifting, and shaking everything into its perfect order. The gates to our cities are open for us to occupy them for the Kingdom of God. The nations and our governmental systems are in prime condition for us to go into the "city" and shine our light for the name of Jesus! The Spirit of the Lord is saying, "Take the city!" It's time for the manifestation of the Kingdom of God to appear, on Earth, as it is in Heaven! Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17)!
Prepare for the Sound of Heavy Rain – A New Outpouring of the Spirit
During the second night of experiencing these audible encounters with the Lord, I was awakened out of my sleep again by an echoing voice declaring, "Prepare for the sound of heavy rain!" All night long my sleep was interrupted as the voice of the Lord reverberated through my spirit. It was then that I remembered the story of Elijah on Mount Carmel interceding for his prophetic promise.
Elijah had just defeated the prophets of Baal when he told Ahab to eat and drink, because he heard the sound of the abundance of rain coming in the distance (1 Kings 18:41). Ahab prepared for what the Lord had promised, and Elijah was filled with new power, as he ran to the city gates of Jezreel. The sovereignty of God became evident through rain, wind, and power, as a sign of the drought ending and an a new move of God manifesting!
"Then Elijah said to Ahab, 'Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.'" (1 Kings 18:41)

Last year I had a dream about a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In my dream, I saw an open Heaven over a house where heavy rain showers were pouring into the house. When I looked up at the ceiling of the house to see where the rain was coming from, an opening in the roof made way for the abundance of showers to fill the place where we were gathered. When I walked outside to get into my car to drive through the city, I saw a group of lampstands lit and united together in the region that I was visiting. When I saw the lampstands out in the rain with their lights shining and with magnificent glory and brightness, I said to the person with me, "Look, the lamps are staying lit even though it's raining!"
"That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil." (Deuteronomy 11:14)
"No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or pus it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light." (Luke 8:16)
A mighty outpouring of the Spirit of the Lord is beginning to rain upon the Church. Where unity is evident and hunger is manifest, the Spirit of the Lord is moving in the manifestation of mighty miracles, signs, and wonders. Cities all across the land are being prepared for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit through a remnant of Believers carrying the spirit of Elijah and the mandate of Joshua (Joshua 8:7). A pioneering breed, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and with the wisdom of God, are in position to "take the cities" across America and around the world for the Kingdom.
A hidden remnant is emerging and they are equipped with the strategies of Heaven to overthrow the systems of Baal and to bring in an end-time harvest of souls. The Spirit of the Lord is releasing a fresh impartation of His power through a new wine breed, who are anointed to perform mighty exploits like nothing we've ever seen. The spirit and the power of Elijah is awakening the Body of Christ to repentance, proper alignment, and sonship, as an army of God arises to plunder their land of promise. The term, "We're going in to take the city" will transform society with the love and power of Christ and bring an explosion of evangelism to the streets, stadiums, and arenas, around the globe! An "inner-city" move of the Holy Spirit will cause an outbreak of salvations through the pulling down of demonic strongholds, which are holding prisoners captive. The Church's hour has arrived! God is calling His people to, "Take the city and prepare for an outpouring of the Spirit of the Lord like never before!" A cloud the size of a man's hand is arising in the distance. The Spirit of the Lord says, "Prepare. Prepare. Prepare. I AM coming in all My glory."
