Candice Smithyman: "God is Giving Seed to the Sower - to Plant in Good Soil"

"I Am Giving Seed to the Sower"

I had a vision on Friday January 25. I was at my church during worship night, and I saw God pouring out so much seed that it was filling the silos of Heaven and He was pouring this down on the Church. It was filling the sanctuary so much that every time I reached up to grab more, it came pouring down. As I lifted my hand, I saw a cord and if I pulled the cord the seed would fall. But then above me was an open Heaven, a split in the ceiling of our sanctuary, and God was pouring it down like rain. It was amazing! It took me days to get the fullness of the revelation for God's Church.

God was saying, "I am giving seed to the sower." We know from Isaiah 55:8-11, that He says:

"'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,' declares the Lord. 'As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from Heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My Word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."

Planting in Good Soil

God began to share with me that He is pouring out this seed for His people to plant now in good soil. But it was not just that the seed was to be planted, it was that in this season as He gives the seed, He will also give the elements to grow it quickly. The Word says in verse 10, "...as the rain and snow come down from Heaven, and do not return it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish." He is saying that He even sends us the elements. Just as we know He gives the seed, well, He gives the elements to grow the seed. The elements are the rain and snow coming to earth, and even they fulfill His purpose and are only prompted by His direction.

So often we get focused on the planting of the seed and knowing that God gives us seed, and we have a tendency to stop there in our thinking. But God also gives the elements, which are His provision for the growth of the seed.

We can get so focused on the giving of the seed, but forget that He also provides everything to make it grow. His ways are higher indeed and the seed comes from Heaven and the elements to make it grow also come from Heaven. The elements from Heaven are God's answer to the question of HOW and are His strategy that comes from Heaven to us, so that we know how to manage the seed He gave us to plant.

You Are His Seed

God also shared with me that we, as His people, are His seed. As He has planted the Word in us, He is releasing us to be His seed in the earth and will send us with the proper elements and authority to use them, so that the seed on the inside of us will be deposited and watered properly for a harvest. That was the vision I saw of me pulling the cord and more seed would fall. Yes, it was pouring down from Heaven into the sanctuary, but I still had the authority to pull the cord for more. The more I pulled, the more came. If I was ready to receive it, He was ready to deposit it, and then I had to do something with it.

If you are going to ask for it, then take your authority from Heaven and use it by depositing it. Use your spiritual giftings, time, talent, treasure, and testimony as these are tools to plant that seed, and the seed flows through them all to bless His Kingdom on earth.

Yes, you are His seed, and now is the time of your release. You are a seed that God wants to use in the earth and you carry a seed that is God's desire to be deposited in another person. He is planting seed everyday in and through us, and He is giving us places and proper strategies from Heaven which are the elements to bring forth advancement of the seed.

"I'll Provide the Seed and the Elements"

God says, "I will provide the seed, the elements to make the seed grow, and I will release you to take the seed on the inside of you in the Word of God and deposit that in the places and people that I command."

So Church: KEEP SOWING! Use your spiritual giftings, time, talent, treasure and testimony, as all of them were given by Him from above, and don't stop sowing as He will do the rest! Then His Word will go out from within you and will accomplish the purpose for which He set it forth!
