The Breakthrough of Tough Ground Through Blood, Sweat and Tears
Recently I had a dream where the Lord was showing me what is about to come upon the Body of Christ in this season.
In the first scene of the dream, I was talking to a woman I know in real life, about how there is going to be a breaking through of hard ground. In the dream, I knew I was referring to the hard ground of nations and individuals whose hearts harbored religious mindsets, were in dead religion, or who simply had hard hearts of unbelief. I said to her, "This thing only breaks through blood, sweat and tears." I knew this meant that for breakthrough to come to those resistant hard areas, truth of the freedom of the Gospel must come by the redemptive power of the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ used in persistent (sweat) intercession (tears).

The Lord wants to encourage many who have been laboring in prayer for loved ones, cities and even nations (toward hearts that are hard and resistant to the truth of the Gospel)—your tears (intercession) have been heard as you have persistently labored (sweat) and cried out (tears) upon the saving Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ!
As I was talking to this woman I knew, I saw the ground break, and it broke from underneath the crust of the earth, not from an external force upon the ground.
The Landscape Suddenly Changing
In the dream after I finished my discussion with this lady, I met a Jewish man who became my escort. As I walked with him I knew I was all of a sudden back in Israel. But this time everything had changed! Where there had been rocks and desert, springs of water were bubbling up from the ground. There were streams and springs everywhere. Where there had been only sand and dirt, now it had become a garden paradise. I remember saying in the dream, "Wow, this is beautiful! This is just like paradise!" Everything was so green and beautiful. I remember saying, "This looks so different from how I remember it." I knew in the dream this happened all of a sudden.
I began talking to this man saying, "I know where I am. I am where John the Baptist walked." I excitedly kept asking him as I walked in amongst all the water and streams, "IS THIS THE EUPHRATES? IS THIS THE EUPHRATES?" He replied to me, "No, this isn't the Euphrates. It is way over yonder."
I remember looking down into the valley, as I was situated quite high up, where I was standing with this Jewish man amongst these streams. As I looked down into the valley, I saw a large, vast amount of water like a river and I thought to myself, "Wow, that looks dangerous and tumultuous to cross." The people in ancient times were very tough and resilient to be able to do what they did.
In the natural, I know and understand that geographically, there is a great distance from the Judean desert where John the Baptist walked from where the River Euphrates flows. So upon awakening from this dream, I knew that this was symbolic terminology that the Lord was trying to get a message through to me. After pondering and praying over this dream for some time, I believe the Lord was showing me by this dream what is about to break forth upon the Body of Christ in this season.
Streams in the Desert: A Move of Restoration
John the Baptist came in the Spirit of Elijah and prepared the way of the Lord. His ministry was streams in the desert—restoration through repentance and reconciliation to the heart of the Father. "The disciples asked Him, Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first? He replied, Elijah does come and will get everything RESTORED AND READY... Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them about John the Baptist." (Matthew 17:10, 11&13 emphasis mine)
The spirit of Elijah that was upon John the Baptist, was a move of restoration via repentance and preparation. This is what is going to spring forth in this season upon the Church.
In regards to the conversation I had with the Jewish man asking him, "Is this the Euphrates?" His reply, "No, it is over yonder," and I believe this is what the Lord showed me the interpretation was. The Euphrates is otherwise known as "The GREAT RIVER". This river is also a boundary of Israel's Promised Land mentioned to Abraham by the Lord in Genesis 15.
In the dream by asking the Jewish man, "Is this the Euphrates?" I was asking, "Is this it? Is this it? IS THIS THE BIG ONE? IS THIS THE GREAT MOVE? IS IT NOW TIME FOR THE boundary of what has been promised to come in? IS THIS THE END OF THE AGE? Is this the move of the end time harvest of the wave of glory to sweep in the world?"
The Jewish man said, "No it is over yonder."
The Lord spoke to my heart in the interpretation of the Jewish man's answer of, "No it is over yonder."
The Lord told me:
"This is not what is upon you, Anita. These streams and flourishing paradise in which you are standing is not that great river. The Euphrates, the great move, is not the move of His Spirit that is coming in THIS season. It is for a season TO COME. The streams you were standing in represented you encountering a move of My Spirit upon the Church in this season.
"For these streams that are bursting forth from the wilderness are like in the days of John the Baptist. I am restoring the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers. I am bringing repentance to the prodigal, the wayward in the house of Israel, and I am calling them home.
"I am awakening and reviving those with tired, worn out hearts to passionately and devotedly pursue Me once again. I am bringing recompense to My people for their losses and beauty for ashes. I am restoring, redeeming and reconciling. THIS is a move of My Spirit of RESTORATION UPON MY PEOPLE."
The Reward of Blood, Sweat and Tears

To those who have labored in blood sweat and tears, know this is the season He is going to pour out fresh streams of living water and surely the landscape of your life will change before your very eyes.
Where people have felt their lives have been barren, hard and dry, they will SUDDENLY see the landscape change and become a green flourishing paradise. Where the Body of Christ has even been in a dry wilderness season, a move of the Lord's Spirit is coming upon His people to refresh and revive and change the landscape.
Watch and see. There will be breakthroughs of His rivers of living waters even in the most hardest religiously bound places. For as the blood, sweat and tears of the saints has preceded the way, the Lord's recompense and reward is at hand.
Suddenly
Suddenly, things are about to look very different for the House of the Lord. Suddenly, the barren places will no longer be barren but will be fruitful gardens. Take a look. The landscape is about to change!
For as vast as the desert is as deep as the spring. For as deep as the sorrow will be as deep of the joy that will flood forth. To the level of lack will be the level of flowing provision and abundance. For surely this is the season of recompense and reward! (Photo via Unsplash)

Cycles of rejection will turn to cycles of favor. Where you have been last, now you will be first. Where you have been left out, counted out and discarded, you will now be sought out, desired and favored!
"And they shall call them the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken" (Isaiah 62:12 Amp).
