"Jesus is Taking YOU 'by the Hand' – I Promise!"
A great many Believers are needing this word from the Lord today. He would "not let up" until I wrote this out for you!
God is in the REDEEMING business and in order for Him to do the work that is so important to Him—which is redeeming all who will come to Him—He can only act in accordance with Himself—the way He actually is...
And that is...HE LOVES MERCY!
Ephesians 2:4-5, "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved."
Picture then a merciful Savior TAKING YOU BY THE HAND—but He doesn't do that now, does He?
Remember that everything Jesus DID, He said, "What you see Me do, know that this is what the Father does too—for you" (John 14:9 paraphrased).
So here's what Jesus did:
Mark 8:23-26: "Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When He had spit on the man's eyes and put His hands on him, Jesus asked, 'Do you see anything?' He looked up and said, 'I see people; they look like trees walking around.' Once more Jesus put His hands on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. Jesus sent him home, saying, 'Don't even go [back] into the village.'"
The Lord is prophesying to you—every single person reading this...that God is taking you by the hand to lead you OUTSIDE of some type of disease, or mindset, or problem, or relationship issue, or debt, or addiction—and many other things.
He wants you "set free" and this requires both His HAND HOLDING you and Him moving you from where you are now to where you need to be.
When you received Him, you were told that you were receiving Christ AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR, RIGHT?
Well—Jesus is personal. He, over and over, took people by the hand and lifted them UP and OUT of where they were and into where they needed to be.
Luke 8:54 (NIV) says, "But He took her by the hand and said, 'My child, get up!'"
Then there's this one:
Mark 9:26-27, "The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, 'He's dead.' But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up."
You're starting to get it aren't you?
It's kind of plain—what Jesus DID, the FATHER CONTINUES TO DO and SO DOES JESUS and SO DOES HOLY SPIRIT.
God has ALWAYS done this for those He loves—and HE LOVES YOU!!
Speaking of the New Covenant God says...
Hebrews 8:9, "It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt..."
The reason you're reading this today is because you or someone you love is hurting. Some are hurting with HUGE issues in their lives. Others have a few problems nagging them that most people don't even know about.
But whatever the problem is...GOD IS TAKING YOU BY THE HAND TO LIFT YOU UP AND LEAD YOU OUT!
And once you're out, God MIGHT say to you, "Don't even go [back] into the village [or situation]" (as in Mark 8 above).
To stay free, remember that He is taking you by the hand (or He already took you by the hand), leading you away from your situation, addiction, disease, or whatever...and He's saying, "NOW, DON'T GO BACK THERE!"
"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!" (see Galatians 5:1).
