I have been studying charismatic and Pentecostal Christianity for almost four decades and out of that background want to help people have the key data to understand the dynamic of the prophecies related to Trump and the United States. My guide identifies the Christian prophecies about Trump and introduces most if not all the prophets who have prophesied or written about him. Further, the guide puts this information in the context of developments and events on the road to Trump’s nomination, the campaign of Hillary Clinton, the election, and the aftermath. Finally, I save readers, journalists, and scholars dozens of hours of time by providing hundreds of links to all the entries in these two hundred or so pages of information.
The guide is divided into three sections. First, the prophecies and events related to Donald Trump and the various responses to him are given in chronological order. Generally, I give the earliest date related to the prophecy or event though sometimes a prophecy is given years before it is made public. This is especially true of Mark Taylor. He recorded some prophecies privately before he became a public figure in 2016. In a second section, all prophecies are arranged in alphabetical order by the first name of the prophets so that it is easier to study all the prophecies that come from this or that individual. Third, I provide a list of all the prophets and evangelical leaders noted in the guide. [Readers should know that many evangelical leaders and followers who supported Trump do not accept charismatic prophecy even though they believe it was God's will for Americans to vote for him and not Clinton.]

 James A. Beverley is Professor of Christian Thought and Ethics at Tyndale University College and Seminary in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He has spent over four decades studying theology, philosophy, world and new religions. Author of fifteen books, he has written for Christianity Today and Charisma magazines and is a columnist for Faith Today magazine. Professor Beverley is a member of the American Academy of Religion, the Evangelical Theological Society, and the Canadian Society for the Study of Religion.
