"Exciting New Discoveries – Through the Sound of His Voice!"

 I had the privilege last year of speaking at Bobby Haaby's, and his wife Becky's, church in Bend, Oregon. These are great people and what an addition, or rather a MULTIPLICATION, they bring to the Body of Christ in Oregon and in the USA.
Researchers say that in Protestant churches alone, there are over 300,000 churches. With these kind of church numbers, you can see why we need the Bobby and Becky Haaby's of our day.
Great pastoral teams will soon be needed to plug new baby Believers into various local church fellowships. In order for this to happen effectively, all leaders whether pastors and elders, prophets, or any other description, will be those we look to – to show us what our part is in this great movement of Jesus – that is coming upon the earth.

The Church is being invited to hear His voice to solve crimes in your region and to set the trend for innovation and city transformation, as well as how to discover His voice in movies, news headlines, and in the songs you wake up singing. God is heightening our awareness to the subtle and huge ways He speaks.
I would love to see the Body of Christ get more excited than at any time in history – excited to team up and bring the greatest unquenchable revivals into our church buildings, out on the streets, and into our homes.
City transformations are upon us. God is pleased with the Church – the SAME Church He promised that the "gates of Hell" will not prevail against us!
OK, let's dig in to hear His voice more! Time to find out what God is doing right now and what is our part.

Warriors Hear God!
There is a reason why the Cavaliers lost to the Warriors in the NBA Finals in June of this year. God is raising up Warriors who are not cavalier about knowing Him, and they are being transformed into His image and changing the world. The over awareness of sin in ourselves or others, has always produced a "disconnect" and a major stumbling block to how we hear God.
Once Adam became aware of his sin, he hid himself. God's voice had not changed for Adam nor for Israel, who hid themselves from God's voice because they were too afraid. Somehow sin consciousness had opened the doorway to fear that leads to isolation instead of repentance which carries hope for a new beginning.
Suddenly the sound of His voice, which Adam had enjoyed listening to during those walks with God in the cool of the day, had now become something to hide from. Whenever we review the events of our lives apart from the Blood of Jesus, we subject ourselves to the influence of the spirit of deception. In reality, our sinful past no longer exists. Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me" (John 10:27).
Discovering the "Sound" of His Voice
It's not whether you hear His voice, but it's knowing how He speaks to you that is key. It's time to discover the sound of His voice on a whole new level. I have sought to know God's voice for years now, aside from direct encounters with His audible voice.
I have learned this outstanding truth: The voice of God is not always a voice. He still shows up in burning bush-type experiences that are unordinary and require us to dial up our heavenly curiosity enough to turn aside from our normal ways of hearing Him – to discover the sound of His voice in new ways.
Some hear, some know, some feel, and some see. If it's a 5000-year-old voice you are waiting to hear, remember that God's voice to the Prophet Samuel first sounded like his mentor, Eli. God is not limited in how He speaks to us, or who or what He may use to speak to us. If you are stuck in the thought that God's voice to you is only expressed one way, you may be missing out on discovering new and exciting aspects of the sound of His voice.

The Church is being invited to hear His voice to solve crimes in your region and to set the trend for innovation and city transformation, as well as how to discover His voice in movies, news headlines, and in the songs you wake up singing. God is heightening our awareness to the subtle and huge ways He speaks.
We must simply ask the Holy Spirit to heighten our gift of "awareness" and decide that the greatest "Casualty of War" is to be casual about war! We will then advance with keen heavenly insight and new levels of prophetic revelation, and the Spirit of Truth will unfold things to come like never before.
