There is a reformation coming to all the mountains of society and a new sound of those who have been transformed by His Word. People who have been forged in the fire of adversity, those He has promoted to the hill of the Lord, will release this sound into the systems of the world! Systems will shake and quake because of the sound of the love and mercy of God!

The Dream of Texas Governor Rick Perry
I had a dream a couple of weeks ago of being an observer in a men's prison. I saw these prisoners wearing old prison uniforms that looked like ones from the 1950's movies. Dark blue pants and denim-type shirts were their attire. The prisoners were sitting in a circle in an open room where they go for entertainment or recreation.

All of a sudden, I saw Texas Governor Rick Perry, now Energy Secretary of the United States, walk over to the men. I noticed that he was in prison attire also, as if he had become one of them, and yet I knew he was there to help them. He picked up a guitar (which speaks of gifting) and with a very big smile on his face, he began to play them a song. They were all smiling and crying because what he was doing was very anointed!
I then noticed myself...I looked down and saw that I was standing in this prison wearing a beautiful white flowing garment. Just as I noticed this, I looked back up and saw Energy Secretary Perry bend down and kiss one of the prisoners on the head, just as Jesus might have. You could tell in this dream that they felt the love of God from him and they had tears running down their faces. Then I heard the Lord say, "It is 12:12 wake up and see!" I did wake up and it was 12:12 (12 is the number associated with God's perfect government foundation). End of dream.
Powerful, Strong and Gifted Rulers
I found out that the name Rick means powerful; strong ruler, gifted ruler. The name Perry means traveler or wanderer. I also found that the name Perry could be derived from the name Peter which means, rock, and the name Texas means, "friends or allies".
As Governor Perry was running for president, I heard him in an interview saying that he felt called to be in ministry. He had also left a denominational church in those days and began to be a part of an independent apostolic movement. He has also overseen huge prayer gatherings in Texas. When he told someone that he felt called of God he said, "I just didn't know what a big platform I would have." I also read that he reformed the entire prison system in Texas while he was the governor. (Photo via Wikipedia)
I feel that the Lord is saying through this dream that He is about to take those in high authority, who truly have a calling on their lives, and who are anointed for positions, back to the places that they were called all along – including to set the captives free! God has placed many in government positions and given them power and authority so that they would have much influence to set many captives free with the true Love of Christ Jesus. They will affect these places in society.
They Will Bring a New Sound
As I saw (in my dream) Governor Perry bringing the sound of "love and compassion" from the Lord to the prisoners of the 40s, 50s, and 60s – so will there be a transforming of the systems of this earth through the NEW SOUND of those truly called and anointed in this hour. God has been honing our gifts and talents and bringing those who are His through many situations and perfecting their love so that the sound coming from them will truly transform the hearts of those who were affected by the immorality and cold love that the 40s and 50s and 60s ushered in.
There is a reformation coming to all the mountains of society and a new sound of those who have been transformed by His Word. Systems will shake and quake because of the sound of the love and mercy of God! David, with his song and his instruments, brought a new anointed sound to Saul and his kingdom. It eventually caused the shaking of this jealousy-ridden king and his rule of control and manipulation to crumble, and eventually David's rule took its place! This was a reformation of the Kingdom!
Allies of the People

These ones will be friends and allies of the hurting people and captives. They will not only relate to these people, but will have the influence in government to do something about their plights!
The captives being set free will see the "love of Jesus" through these called ones because they will bring Jesus to them through their gifts. I believe the Lord showed me that the systems, working as they are, will begin to dry up and God will move out those not called to these positions and He will place those truly called and anointed to be raised up!
Moving into Kingdom Positions to Build Up
Jeremiah 1:9-10, "Then the Lord put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, 'Behold, I have put My words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.'"
These called men and women will move into Kingdom positions with the love and mercy and compassion of Jesus to bring people to a saving knowledge of who He is. Those who are covered in the righteousness of God will see this happening and begin to report it and many will hear! (Photo via Wikipedia)
A great reformation will begin to take place throughout the earth because systems/organizations will know that what they have been doing has not worked; but that those who carry the Kingdom will bring new energy to these types of systems. This is happening to some degree but God is about to do this in mass in our government. Many systems are in the process of being brought down right now, hence the shaking, but soon it will be time to build. It is going to be glorious!
I believe the Lord only used men's names and positions as an example in this dream to show us what He wants to do across the board. Whether or not it has a natural application to Energy Secretary Perry, only God knows. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
