"Dire Straits: Over the Next Three Weeks - Reverse the Curse!"

For those unfamiliar with the period called "Bein Hametzrim," or the time of the "Dire Straits," this is a three-week period of time between the 17th of Tammuz and the 9th of Av in the Hebraic Biblical calendar. In 2017—the Hebraic year 5777—the time of the "Dire Straits" falls between July 10th and August 1st. Right now, we are in a time-period set aside to repent and ask for forgiveness for the sins of our forefathers as Daniel did in Daniel 9:3-19.
Historical Experiences During "Dire Straits"
It is interesting to note that five great catastrophes occurred in Biblical history during the 17th of Tammuz:
• Moses destroyed the tablets of the Ten Commandments at the foot of Mount Sinai over the sinful act of idol worship of the golden calf in the camp of the Israelites (see Exodus 32).
• In 586 BC, the daily offerings in the First Temple were suspended during the beginning of the siege of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar's Babylonian army, who subsequently, on the 9th of Av, set fire to the Holy Temple itself.
• In 69 AD the walls of Jerusalem were breached by the Roman Empire, marking the beginning of the destruction and the end of the Second Temple in 70 AD.
• Prior to the Bar Kokhba Revolt—the Great Revolt—the Roman military leader, Apostamos, burned a Torah scroll. This heinous act set a standard for burning Jewish books and Torah scrolls throughout the world for centuries to follow.
• An idolatrous image was placed in the Holy Temple by opposing forces as a brazen act of blasphemy and desecration.
What is the warning here?
In this three-week period of time we need to not allow the enemy to damage our spiritual temples or our spiritual walks. We need to be on-guard in knowing that he is going to try to defile us. Therefore, it is important to know that things like our tempers and choices will be under fire during this time...We need to stay awake and aware!
I'm going to give you a prophetic word that was given to me, but I want to challenge you to receive it for yourself. Here is what the Lord says concerning the time of Dire Straits in 5777:
"In the next three weeks—in the days of the Dire Straits—it is a time of repentance, fasting, and cursing (that occurred in that time). But because of the Blood of My Son, I will reverse the curse in your life and all that has been cut off. I will multiply to you ten-fold. That which has held you back is being cut off right now, and over the next three weeks you will see the physical manifestation of My promises and My honor.
"For I am bringing you into proper alignment with your calling and your purpose—because you have asked Me to, I am delivering. Even the enemy did not expect Me to deliver during the days of the Dire Straits, but the enemy's ways are not My ways. For My ways are higher than those of the enemy's or the ways of man.
"Expect to receive blessings from places that you do not know of, and for doors to open that you did not know even existed. All of those things that you have been dreaming about you never expected to come during this dry time—the testing time between now and Tisha B'Av—but it is coming.
"I am releasing you into a new beginning and a new season of great joy and abundance, for I am healing you from all fears of Dire Straits. You will have no fear of trouble, for I am literally uprooting it out of your souls according to Psalm 103:1: 'Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy name!' I am pulling out all fears and all anxieties!"
Pray with me: Lord, we decree and declare that this time of the Dire Straits are renamed as the time of Divine Opportunity. Lord we speak protection over all of Israel and we speak protection over our nation. We speak protection over the persecuted Church all over the world. We deny the right of the enemy in the nations to attack the temple of God. We decree and declare, and we intercede for God's Body of Christ on earth. For God so loved the Church that He gave His only begotten Son. Thank You Lord that in the year of 5777 that there will be no curse and no cause for the Dire Straits to manifest. In Yeshua's Name...Amen!
Be encouraged! The Lord's promises are yes and amen during this time of Dire Straits...
