Cindy McGill: "Overwhelmed, Confused, Anxious? Fear Not...It's Preparation!"

It's really REALLY important for some of us older "Saints" in Christ to share what we have learned along the way and are learning right now.

Cindy McGill is one who is in the trenches, on the frontline, ministering to the "very lost" on the highways and byways of life.

So what she says, I focus my attention on and I BELIEVE IT!

Below Cindy writes:

Literally, EVERYTHING we do is by faith. The change in circumstances is HIS responsibility, not ours. He has promised to complete the work He has started in us.

"Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

In this season we are stepping into and in this preparation process, it is not unusual to feel "confused, anxious, misguided, directionless and sometimes fearful" because we can't see far enough ahead to make plans for the future. Sometimes, we can feel like God has taken a vacation and turned His phone off, but that is definitely not the case. It's an opportunity to strengthen yourself in the Lord and encourage yourself (see Ephesians 6:10).

This is the time we have to "hold fast" to His Words and promises He has given us, even from years ago. IT'S A FAITH TEST. In order to grow in faith, we usually find ourselves in situations that DEMAND us to actually live by faith. You can never go wrong strengthening your faith-walk as it is impossible to please God without faith. This kind of exercise will produce strength in us that is essential for the days ahead.

WE EXPECT THE IMPOSSIBLE. NOTHING is too hard for Him and He is teaching us how to walk in supernatural power and wisdom. We have been given the measure of faith and the gift of the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us into ALL truth. It's a supernatural COMPASS that directs us and guides us when we have no natural vision to see ahead.

Literally, EVERYTHING we do is by faith. The change in circumstances is HIS responsibility, not ours. He has promised to complete the work He has started in us, to fulfill His plan and future for our lives, to open shut doors, fill us with the knowledge of Him and His will through the Spirit, and be fruitful in everything we do, growing in the knowledge of God (see Colossians 1:9-12). No Knee-Jerk Reactions

The most common reaction we tend to have during times like these are what I call "knee-jerk reactions". These are hasty decisions to make "something happen" when we feel like nothing is happening. When we let our present circumstances override our spiritual life, it's like kryptonite to Superman. We find ourselves losing perspective and hopelessness sets in, draining our strength.

This is when we have to purpose to be strong in the Lord and the power of HIS might. Things can and will completely turn around in a moment of time. God is ALWAYS working ALL things together for GOOD for us. This is NOT the end. To avoid knee-jerk reactions in current circumstances, we have to learn to ACT and not REACT.

Agree with Heaven

Agreement is activation. When we come into agreement with something, we strengthen it and activate it, whether it be fear or faith. Our words have power to create life or death. When we make a concerted effort to agree with Heaven, we weaken and literally disable the assignment of the enemy. Agree with Heaven and God's plan, not this world's view. Guard your heart from coming into agreement with overwhelming circumstances.

EXPECT GOD TO MOVE ON YOUR BEHALF BECAUSE HE SAID HE WOULD. God's ways are HIGHER than this world, and coming into agreement with His purpose, plan and Kingdom expansion will CAUSE ACTION. Supernatural breakthrough occurs, hope fills discouraged hearts with joy and hope, and overwhelming circumstances disappear as God performs miracles in the life of His kids.

SUDDENLY, things will shift in our favor. This is our life now. God gave us AUTHORITY over ALL power of the powers of darkness through Jesus.

Take Your Position and Take Your Place

Learn your identity, your purpose, your place, and change the world for good. Partner with Heaven. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

God is advancing His Kingdom in this earth through His people who will act on His Word and move at His command. He is actively looking for people through whom He can show Himself strong (see 2 Chronicles 16:9). (Photo via flickr)

We cannot afford to live our lives in fear when God has sent His army of angelic forces to aid, protect and assist us in doing what He has commanded us to do. It's not time to sit around and worry. Be STRONG in the LORD and the power of HIS might. Those who DO KNOW THEIR GOD will be strong and TAKE ACTION (see Daniel 11:32).

Assemble yourselves to advance! "Say to those with fearful hearts, 'Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you" (Isaiah 35:4).
