Indeed this is a year of surprises! As you read this prophetic word below, keep it in the back of your mind that this word was written on December 13th, BEFORE Sadaam was captured!

Dear Joyous Saints:

What a year this has been! I know everyone is busy during this time of the year, but I just felt a need to send the following revelation of what I feel that year 5764, which began in September on Rosh Hoshanah, will bring. I also wanted to send you a twelve day prayer focus. I just call it the Twelve Days of Christmas. Twelve means a new administration in government. You might want to use this prayer focus up to December 25 or beginning on December 25 through January 5. Only heaven will be able to disclose what your prayers and faithful obedience have accomplished this year. Get ready to be surprised in 2004. It will be a year of surprises! I also want you to know that the new book Restoring Your Shield of Faith was released this week. This book is needed by all of us. I plan to reread it on my trip to Washington and Oregon for the 50 State Tour.

In this "Seven Year War Season" that began in September 2001, we must stay alert and filled with expectation. Last year was actually a year of "Sabbath Day Rest" which should have produced a new dimension of faith in each one of us. How we set the course this past year is how these next five years are going to flow. Now we have entered the year 5764. This will be a year filled with Secrets, Mysteries, and Surprises resulting in Revelation. Many unpredictable situations will arise in our path this year. But GOD already has the revelation waiting for you that will overcome the unpredictable situation in your life. This year, don't let circumstances shake you. You already have access to wisdom in that unpredictable place! The war in the heaven and earth realms will grow stronger and more intense, but we are going to get more anointed. We can enter into miracles this year! Expect miracles! Miracles occur when God comes down with His power and intervenes in what you were trying to work out, predict, or see manifested. This year we will see the miraculous power of a Holy God. In this year 5764, secrets will be revealed. Psalm 25 will be a key for revealing secrets and unlocking God's covenant blessings. Enter the fear of the Lord. Allow Him to reveal secrets.

Expect Surprises!

This will be a year of many surprises. The enemy has planned surprise ambushes on God's covenant people and His covenant nations! This year we have the access and the ability to have revelation that can surprise our enemies. There are ways that the Lord can show you the schemes of the enemy. This year, instead of having to live on the defensive, you should stay on the offensive and stand knowing that we have access to God to surprise our enemy. This year God is going to surprise you when you start sharing in ways that you've never shared before. This year, we will start speaking of what God is doing in our midst and we will not be afraid to be the bold witnesses that the Lord desires us to be. There is a fear factor that is leaving the church this year. When I think of this Christmas season, the word SURPRISE comes to me. A Surprise Is To...come upon someone suddenly or unexpectedly and take them unaware ...attack or capture suddenly without warning ...cause to wonder, be astonished or amazed because something unexpected or unusual comes in your path...do a sudden or unexpected action which will cause someone to say something unexpected, or bring about an admission. Synonyms of Surprise include: 1. Astonish - Which causes to appear to be unbelievable. 2. Amaze - Which produces a confession. 3. Astound - Which leaves one helpless. 4. Flabbergast - Which makes one speechless.

Biblically, everything JESUS did produced a Surprise! He surprised everyone by His COMING, Emmanuel, God with us. He surprised everyone with His METHOD, the things He did. He surprised everyone with His MANNER, how He expressed His emotion and demonstrated the Father's love and power. He surprised everyone with His MESSAGE, the things He said. The angel came to Mary and surprised her. This shook Mary greatly, but the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God ... the Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you." Mary could have rejected this proclamation, cowered in fear, and run from her destiny. However, her response was, "May it be to me as you have said." The angel appeared to the shepherds keeping watch over their flocks by night and revealed the Lord's Glory. They were terrified. However, the angel said, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people." A heavenly host appeared and filled the field with praise. The shepherds could have cowered in fear, but they said, "Let us go and SEE this thing that has happened." Simeon immediately recognized the child as the long awaited Savior when Joseph and Mary brought Him into the temple. He began to prophesy in such a way that it caused Mary and Joseph to marvel at what was being said. Anna, the prophetess and woman of prayer, came up to them at that very moment and gave thanks to God and began to speak about the Child, declaring that redemption had come. Amazement overwhelmed His mother. I want to encourage you this coming year to WATCH FOR YOUR SURPRISES! Do not fear. Be willing to go to new places to experience what God has for you. Listen carefully to the prophetic words that come to you. And walk in EXPECTATION that God will intervene in your life!

Mysteries Revealed through Dreams

Not only is this a year of secrets and surprises, but this will be a year of mysteries. A Mystery occurs when God takes something that is unrevealed and starts revealing it to us. Biblically, there is a mystery of Babylon in the word of God. He also speaks in mysteries so that He can communicate to us at multiple levels because we have been shallow in one dimension and He is not going to allow it any more. Starting tomorrow, dreams will become prevalent. You've got to know how to deal with the revelation. God wants to bypass your mind, connect with your spirit and give you some information you've not been able to get before, because He's got to take us deeper this year: Mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, Mysteries of the saints at the end of the age, Mysteries of the one new man, Mysteries of the Church as the Bride, Mystery of the true concept of the Hope in you, Mystery of lawlessness, and the Mystery of Babylon. This year the mystery of Babylon will begin to be understood by the church in a new way. Also the mystery of lawlessness will be understood. Fatherlessness and lawlessness work together. God is going to start illuminating key things to you in His word. There are some things that you think you know, but God is about to show you the next level of understanding. It is going to go deep and reveal things to you. It is a year during which that hidden truth will be revealed and things uncovered. He decides to speak in mysteries because He will conceal the truth from those who are unwilling to believe. Those who have been unwilling to believe will not be able to believe. This will be a year when God will say enough is enough. You want to make sure people have the opportunity to believe. By the end of next year, there will be a hardness that begins to set in on those who have rejected what God has brought to them. This will be a defining year when the church divides. You will see it with the Episcopal Church. He also speaks in mysteries because He wants to conceal the truth from the enemy so the enemy does not have the ability to thwart the truth. This is a year when He is going to give us secret wisdom that the enemy will not be able to access. We will see the enemy defeated in many ways this year. God will speak in mysteries to bypass our defense mechanism. Each one of us has a defense mechanism about us that requires God to surprise us so He can get His message into us. Remember when Nathan came to David: he spoke the craziest thing about a sheep, and David was ready to kill the man in Nathan's story. David's defense mechanism had to be bypassed, and that's when Nathan said, "You are the guy." This year God is going to make sure that His message gets across, and it will surprise you to see how God is going to use you.

This year will be also known as:

1. The Year of Samson. The key passage of 5764 refers to Sampson, Judges 13-16. America will be like Samson this year. Guard against sexual demons and immorality and make right alignments and God will provide a way for promises of the past which were broken to be restored. Judges 14:14, says: "Out of the bitter comes something sweet. Out of the harsh, bitter experiences of the past can come the sweetness and fragrance of God." This is a year that the Lord will address bitter roots. "I am going to go back to deep rooted bitterness and you can repent of that problem and see your future more clearly." That old besetting issue or breach can be healed and removed. If you feel dry spiritually in your life this year, find the root of bitterness and He will send refreshing water in the place of your desert. This is your season for bitterness to be removed and for sweetness to flow. This is a season of revelation. Deal with roots of bitterness. You are going to understand some things this year that you've never understood before. You are going to understand why you've gone through the loss that you've gone through. You are going to understand why you've been sick. You are going to understand why that last business dried up. You are going to understand because God's covenant plan is going to be activated in a new way this year like never before. This year is a year of supernatural deliverance. What has been so harsh and bitter in your life, you must deal with it quickly. It is a year that bitterness will trap you. Out of the harsh came the sweet. This should be the theme of the year. Expect your harsh situation to become sweet. That harshness that you have been going through, that bitterness, that lost expectation, that lost hope, let God enter into your circumstance for the sweetness to be manifested. Harsh situations that we will experience need to be coated with the honey of the Word of God. You need to read and understand Samson because this year, to those who have had their strength removed, I hear God saying , "I'm going to give them one more supernatural UMPH! In other words, you went for something and didn't have the strength to break it through, but this year you will have this supernatural strength to bring it forth. This year we are going to have to be aware of a new dimension of holiness. If not, we are going to get seduced. There is a danger of legalism arising. What the Lord asks you to do, He may not ask anyone else to do. The Lord needs to tear down the things separating you from Him this year so He can make room for your gift in a new way. Let go of that thing that has separated you from the love of God (Rms 8) in the past. We will experience a corporate anointing of holiness. This year there will be a tangible presence of God's holiness that confronts each one of us. Judges 14:14 is so key! Fourteen means deliverance. This year there is a double portion anointing for deliverance. We will see first fruits of deliverance! Where you have been delivered in one dimension, God wants to go deeper!

2. The Year of Hannah! You will have to travail to prevail! You will have strength to birth what has not come forth in the past. Mocking and reproach will be broken. The mocking of the past that has been set against your gift is going to break by the power of God. What you've not been able to conceive, you are going to conceive this year, but you are going to travail to bring to birth. Do not stop the spirit of travail as it comes on you this year. This will be a year of men travailing. This year the prophetic anointing for the future that will judge nations will be set in order. Hannah travailed her grief away. You need to be determined this year that you will travail to prevail. In her womb there came an opening. Down in your womb, in the innermost part of you, there is a river that can be unlocked and flow from you into the places it needs to flow; but you are going to have to get it unlocked.

3. The Year of Cyrus (or hidden riches of secret places will be revealed in the nation and in our inheritance). In Isaiah 45 we read a passage about Cyrus, and it says, "to Cyrus whose right hand I have held to subdue nations before him." This year the goat and sheep nations will begin identifying themselves. This year it will begin to be clear who will align with God's covenant purpose. I have asked God specifically for ten nations to rise up that will internationally represent him. God promised Cyrus that He would give him the riches of the Silk Road. He was telling Cyrus, "I will open the trade routes up to you." This year you are going to find that you have access to new dimensions of trade and supply that you've never had before. God is going to open new supply lines. The ancient paths in Turkey and China will begin to open. New oil fields will be found. It is a year when we have access to the hidden riches and secret places. If you will find the hidden place of abiding, you will also see your secrets revealed to enable you to go forth into what God has for you.

4. The Year of Jehovah Rohi. Psalm 23 will become a reality to us this year. There is a new trumpet sound arising that will affect our lives. This is a sound that will cause faith to arise in your spirit and cause your soul to be restored! The Word will become real. The Lord will lead in new ways and into new places. Where your soul has been scattered in the past season, it will begin to realign. Your spirit will begin to resound with God's purpose. If we listen carefully to the trumpet sound this year, there will be a realignment, and the fragmentation of your soul can be broken. What you have learned as a child is now going to become real. We will have to follow Him into some new places to break the power of satan's past plan of fragmentation in our soul. Old woundings that created bitterness and caused covenant breaking patterns can be broken. You are going to have to go where God tells you to go. You are going to have to be where God tells you to be.

Also during this year, we will find this to be:

A year to understand the Multiplication of the Loaves and the Fishes. We will receive divine revelation to understand how satan has fragmented us in the past. We will see how covenant breaking has entered the blood line and how to get this out of our blood line.

A Year the Nations entered into the Valley of Decision. Goat and Sheep nations will begin to make their choices.
A Year of Finding the Woman at the Well.
By understanding bitterness, we will find that this is A Year that Naomis will see their inheritances restored.
A year of Cyrus. This will cause Secret Supply Lines to be Uncovered (Is. 45:1-3).
A Year to Contend and Run with the Horses and Contending at the Floodplain (Jer 12:5).

"To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom." This will be a year that we will take a giant shift from church life and into kingdom life. Leaders who have been operating in the Kingdom will have the mysteries of the kingdom revealed to them and they are going to know how to unlock their land. They will know how to transfer wealth for covenant purposes. They will know how to enter into kingdom living like never before. They are going to enter into a kingdom success mentality. Enter IN!!!!!! This is your year of revelation.

The Twelve Days of Christmas: A Prayer Focus to Begin a New Administration

Day 1: Read Luke 1 - 2. Sing, read or listen to "O Come, O Come Emmanuel." Ask the Lord to make you sensitive to His Spirit so you can recognize Him in your midst. Declare that in this coming year you will recognize that He is with you daily.

Day 2: Read Genesis 12 – 15; John 20. Sing, read or listen to "The First Noel." Be willing to listen very carefully to the song that the Lord has for you in the coming year. I believe in the "new sound" and "new song." Be willing to follow the star "wherever it goes or leads."

Day 3: Read Isaiah 60 - 61. Sing, read or listen to "Angels We Have Heard on High." Ask God to give you a revelation of His Glory. Stick your head up through your clouds and SEE His Glory in the midst of your circumstances.

Day 4: Read Malachi 4. Sing, read or listen to "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing." Declare healing will spring forth in your life and in all of those around you. Declare there will be a supernatural restoration of families this year.

Day 5: Read Ruth 1 - 4. Sing, read or listen to "O Little Town of Bethlehem." What an incredible story. Declare all your bitterness to be removed. Naomi changed from bitter to pleasant.

Day 6: Read Matthew 1 and Micah 4 - 5. Sing, read or listen to "O Holy Night." Lift up your head, shout and declare that all captivity break. Let God show you an injustice that He would have you address and declared broken in the coming year.

Day 7: Read Mark 1 - 2. Sing, read or listen to "I Wonder as I Wander." Know that you are special and that God wants to do something special and surprising on your behalf. He came just for you. Watch for His surprises.

Day 8: Read John 1. Sing, read or listen to "O Come, All Ye Faithful." Know that the Word has come to illuminate you and give you wisdom. Ask the Lord to illuminate your path with His word. Ask Him to help you to be disciplined to seek Him daily.

Day 9: Read Acts 3, 4, and 12. Sing, read or listen to, "Go Tell it on the Mountain." Be willing to boldly share. Ask God for an opportunity this year to share your faith, testimony and the Good News of a Living Christ.

Day 10: Read Matthew 2. Sing, read or listen to "We Three Kings." Pray for Babylon. Pray for our soldiers in Iraq. Pray for Persia. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Declare that God will always bring the help you need and show you your way of escape.

Day 11: Read 1 John 1 - 3. Sing, read or listen to "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." Let the love of God overwhelm you. Know that Satan has been defeated and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Be at peace. Ask God to quiet your spirit.

Day 12: Read John 17, Matthew 5 and Philippians 4. Sing, read or listen to the carol "Joy to the World." Declare all your joy-robbers underneath your feet. Ask the Holy Spirit to start this next season by filling you with joy. Declare you will have new strength to face all that is ahead in this coming year.
