Phyllis Ford: "We Are Walking into a Time of SOD - Suddenly Overtakes Delay"

This is an awesome word in season about the suddenlies of God that will overtake us by Phyllis Ford. She also shares some in-depth revelation from recent dreams and what the Lord revealed through them.

I believe, we are about to see a marking in time. As we are trying to get everything in focus, we will see suddenlies occur before our eyes... When we get there we will know that our delay has been dealt with through sudden manifestation of God's will for our lives – brought about by acceleration.

A Marking in Time

Times and seasons are very essential when we look at God's Word. Time has always been a significant factor and within it we see cycles and patterns that set in motion plans and purposes being clearly identified, recognized, and not overlooked by us. I see a convergence of so many things all taking place at the same time. Jesus who is the Alpha and Omega is drawing lines in the sand about the things that man has judged to be "one thing," when His rendering was different. It has been clearly spoken that when it comes to the mind of Christ and our own mind, that many times they don't line up. Truth being that God's way of thinking, processing, and judging far exceeds our own. As clear as that is, many of us have forgotten that.

I believe, we are about to see a marking in time. As we are trying to get everything in focus, we will see suddenlies occur before our eyes. A week or so ago, I had a very lucid series of unusual dreams revealing some things that were not on my mind nor on my prayer list. One dream stood out among the rest, and I believe in this dream He began to clarify somethings that were indicators of what we are looking at right now.

In my dream, I was in the midst of a Kingdom gathering and things began to happen. Things that I wanted to control how they occurred...almost as if I wanted to slow down the process. I found myself adjusting to the situation instead of the situation adjusting to suit me. I began to go with it as I knew that it was God's will being walked out in the process.

An unusual man appeared speaking to me quickly and I went to slow him down and he lead me out of the building. The next thing I knew, I had left the gathering to walk out a path, so to speak, that was highly significant at that time. Before I knew it I had walked upon new ground (freshly laid ground), and I knew it was important to adjust again.

In the dream, I said, "Wow, I have just come upon freshly laid sod." My shoes had sod on them and I wanted to clean them. The man led me to a clean body of water that was so close, I don't know how I didn't see it before. I sat there and cleaned my shoes and feet and woke up. (Photo via bossfight)

My daughter has a gift of interpreting dreams. She said:

"You were in a place where God's will was starting to unfold before you. Though you could recognize that these events were occurring because of God, you could not manage and alter the things happening around you. It was Sovereign. Then God sends you a messenger like He has throughout the pattern of His Word when something significant was coming, but the nature of who He sends you is unique. You could not comprehend what he was saying because the man spoke fast. I believe he, "the man," was acceleration...possibly an angel of acceleration.

"Realizing that you couldn't understand him, he does what he was sent to do – leading you into a new place. One called SOD. This is the place where "Suddenly Overtakes Delay." As you notice things stuck to you after trying to adjust, he shows you that this is a place where you don't have to worry – a place where solutions appear even faster than problems. I believe in that place you washed yourself of worry and gave in to trusting God despite the unusually quick occurrences around you.

"I also believe the Gospel and the good news God has given to you and those like you, will carry the power to overcome and accelerate during this season, as well as the authority to tread over delay. Go with God's flow and follow His process, for it's nothing strange...it's just the season we are in."

After I received her interpretation, the Lord confirmed to me that not only was every word true, but it was a direct word for this season! Many times we get weary in the wait of what He has spoken, then when the suddenlies appear we don't quite realize it until it is upon us. No matter how prophetic and wise we are in the Lord, and confident in areas of discernment, God's ways are much higher. It is "our time submitted before God" that helps us to bridge the gap. When we get there we will know that our delay has been dealt with through sudden manifestation of God's will for our lives – brought about by acceleration.

Look For Him on Unusual and Unexpected Paths

As I was spending time with the Lord, He spoke to me about not just "the walk" (the process) of getting to where we are suppose to be, but also us seeing the signals so that we won't miss our day of visitation. When I say "the day of visitation" many times the statement is made, "When He comes how will He find us?" But before that, will we know who He is and what we have truly walked up on? They walked upon the road to Emmaus. Emmaus means, "uncertain" or "hot spring". Now the dual meanings alone shed much light on the path Jesus appeared to them on. The walk they took with Jesus was everything, and yet they could not see it was Him (see Luke 24).

God is leading us in unusual and unexpected ways down paths of uncertainty into places with supernatural springs. Yet to go through the process we must walk with Him. Even when we can't see and understand, we have to get to the place where we trust God and allow Him to reveal His heart, His plan and His purposes to us. We have become so dependent on ourselves and we've been talking about Jesus, but may not have even noticed that He has been trying to lead and walk along with us.

This is a season to follow God. To surrender our control so that we might experience the grand reveal of His plan. As times progresses much will happen, but those who trust in God and surrender to Him in this time will be taken to supernatural places (see Luke 24:13-35).

Birthing in Obscure Places

We are about to walk upon ground that seems insignificant, because it is not a large place. The birthing of great things can happen in the obscure places. Micah begins to speak about Bethlehem Ephata (which was the place of His birth), telling them how One will be born from that land who would rule all. Jesus was born in BETHLEHEM! This is prophecy fulfilled in a small, forgettable place in a small stable (Micah 5:2).

Stop focusing on the smallness of the place you're in, and see the potential and know that your God will do great things. I tell you today there is about to be something big happening on small ground. In small places, in the Bethlehem's all over, we will see revival fires burning bright. This will be outpourings of the anointing like we have seen in times past. People will be healed, miracles will break out, and the news agencies will start to gather to see what is going on. Those embers will blow upon larger regions and many will look to the larger regions but others will know where it first happened.

His oil is about to be poured upon nations of people. The marking of time has begun and this oil will not stopped, but it flow and grow. It will begin to bring others to receive and witness the plan and move of God. Despise not the day of small things (see Zech. 4:10). (Photo via flickr)

We are about to hear the sound of the wind over the mulberry trees and we will clearly know that a fresh move of the coming of the Lord will yield grace and take place before us...and all of Heaven will rejoice!

A Special Word for Women

Beautiful ladies, I know we can all look back and see the road from where we have journeyed. It has been long and arduous but despite it all, the Lord God Almighty has been forming us, fashioning us, and preparing us for these times ahead. It's time to pick up and move forward with all you have been given. The prophets have echoed it over and over – that it is time for women to come forth in great measure!

Women, we are strategic! In every great move, there were women doing tremendous Kingdom work. In every battle, we were right there somewhere in the midst and were visibly praying! We are the women of the tribe of Manasseh, the Deborah's and Esther's, Ruth's and Naomi's, Mary's and Martha's, Hannah's and Jael's, and the list goes on. I heard the Lord say, "There is now a stirring and cleansing. Even the purification of the days of old are coming upon righteous women in this hour. This is not a season to settle for anything but there is better. Look upon the balconies of Heaven. There are women who have gone on before you...let them be your heavenly record."

Many of us are about to walk into promotions, back-pay, and even long-awaited inheritances. There are those of us who will take the marketplace by storm. Most importantly, these things will occur because you have labored over them, cried over them, and fervently prayed about them. We will see victory and there will be Esther moments.

Your men will stand by your side as the kings and priests and they are answering and heeding God's call. The youth will run ahead as forerunners of their generation.
