 God's promises are coming into fruition...and in a multitude of ways. We've posted some prophetic words lately about the Promises of God and taking our Promised Land. As many things are coming to pass it's important that we align our words with His, speak life over our promises, and make our petitions and decrees toward them.
Christy Johnston of Australia shares this about our decrees:
Beloved one, if you have a promise from the Father in waiting, align your words with His Word. The promise is not being held back by an unloving Father; He is ALL loving and He has designed it to await your decrees as well...

A Vision of the Promise...He Listens Intently to Your Petitions
I see the Father holding your promise – like liquid it sits content, but momentarily motionless, in the palm of His hands. The Father hears and sees the longings of your heart and the secret petitions you cry out to Him for; these desires are one and the same as they are His promises to you. He hears the deep yearnings stored up inside of you and He is not ignorant to your innermost cries.
As He listens intently to the petitions of your heart, He begins blowing ever so sweetly and gently over the substance of the promise. As though stirring the promise itself from sleep, His breath of life flows into it and His air encapsulates every fiber of its matter and it awakens, alive. Growing effervescent as though a bubble, it begins twisting and moving as the air of His breath continues to pulsate through, flowing steadily as it continues to grow. Unlike a bubble however, vibrant colors and words begin forming inside until it is filled to bursting. It lightly lifts from His hands and floats into the heavenly atmosphere – awaiting the decree.
I see the colors and words moving vigorously and inside, each with a distinct purpose to fulfill their call – to overthrow the impossible in your life. Everything inside of it is alive with His resolve and with flares of multicolored lightning erupting inside. The promise impatiently awaits its destiny. Unsure of how this promise will break open, I hear the Father say simply, "Decree! It is time for you to decree!" Job 22:28, "You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways."
Decree and Align Your Words with His!
I see you opening your mouth and filling it with Scripture and as you do, the Scriptures you release from your tongue become like a sword and an arrow. "He has made My mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of His hand He has concealed Me; And He has also made Me a select arrow, He has hidden Me in His quiver" (Isaiah 49:2).
The sword goes forth to protect the promise from any enemy that would attempt to destroy it. As your words align with His, the arrows go forth to pierce the suspended promise. Each arrow hits its mark on the promise until it violently splits open and the breakthrough comes forth. Showering down in a supernatural rain, the decrees brought to life through His breath and your words bring the promise into effectual reality over your life.
Beloved one, if you have a promise from the Father in waiting, align your words with His Word. The promise is not being held back by an unloving Father; He is ALL loving and He has designed it to await your decrees as well. He longs for you to partner with Him in what He does in and through your life. He did not create you weak and ineffective – He created you powerful. Speak out the DECREES from His Word today, and every day, and watch as Heaven's promises burst over your life.
