Cindy McGill: "New Frontiers Await Us - Looking Back is No Longer an Option"

Some of you really need this word by our friend Cindy McGill. It is FULL of very real and very practical revelation. Cindy really gets it...she's into ministering real life in real issues...AND she is big time into family restoration. She ministers to many people from all walks of life and the prodigals...which you'll read an awesome word from her about "your kids are coming back!"

This word by Cindy for this year is a call to action and she challenges all of us:

It's time to assemble, strategize and pro-actively engage arenas and events where the world gathers are starving for direction and truth. The Church is CALLED to action. We were never meant to just sit in a building and be idle week after week. We have dynamite power living inside us and we operate with unconditional love and compassion burning in us. Our mouths contain words of deliverance and healing to hurting, vision less and hopeless victims who have been deceived by the devil's plan to rob, kill and destroy their lives. There is nothing holding us back but fear. Fear is a null and void force when perfect love is present in our hearts and lives.

I think it's safe to say we have transitioned into new territory and ground we have never walked on before. We have new leadership, new direction, new assignments, new communities and there will be lots of "firsts" for us this year and for the years to come. It's a new frontier. God is unfolding His plan for us that He has had all along. This adventure requires a new perspective and focus. God has been preparing us for this position and we will function differently than before. It's similar to getting a promotion at work where new responsibilities and environments demand a different work ethic.

Looking back is no longer an option. The door to the past is closed and there is nothing to go back to. We now find ourselves on this new ground of healing and restoration and it will provide lots of new adventures in advancing Gods Kingdom on this earth. Our focus is now on the future and God's ability to navigate and guide us moving forward.

Cease Striving and Know that He is Good

BREATHE...God's got this. He is in FULL control. Being anxious because of uncertainty will only cause us to stress out and make the learning process more difficult. If God is doing a "new thing" then He is WELL able to communicate to us how to function in it. New days always require new ways, and being confident in God's ability to accomplish His will in us and through us brings a resolve to our hearts and minds.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6)

Prayer, Petition and Thanksgiving

Prayer, petitioning and thanksgiving are the key for a fruitful future. It's Gods recipe for life.

Prayer is a HUGE part of this new season and causes us to deepen our relationship with the One who loves us more than anyone ever could. God always shares His secrets with His kids, and there's absolutely no one who exists on earth that knows our hearts and lives like He does. There is no love big enough to fill up our hearts and align us for success like He can. God literally gives us "prayer to pray" so He can answer it. It's our life compass. (Photo via Cindy McGill)

Petitioning or supplication is a creative force that causes circumstances and situations to change. God wants us to ask, and it's His good pleasure to give to those who ask. Declarations and speaking "words of life" into this world have power to shift atmospheres and make things happen. And the cool thing is that He actually puts His desires in our hearts, what to ask for, and then He answers it and makes it happen.

The literal definition of "supplication" is to ask for something earnestly and in humility. Often times, we don't have because we don't ask. We have been given a wide invitation to ask, whether alone or when two or three gather in His name, we can ask and He said He would do it (see Matthew 18:19).

Thanksgiving is just being thankful. This causes us to stop looking at things we don't have and be grateful for what we do have. Thankfulness is an antidote for depression and what I call "naval gazing" where we keep looking inside of us and our pain instead of looking at the Answer, who is Jesus Himself. It's a spiritual heart condition that causes our whole perspective to move into positive space.

I'm not denying that it has been a rough patch for many of us and in times like these our hearts can get weary and often adopt a defeated attitude, but thankfulness lifts the heart, removes sadness, causes clarity in the mind, and heaviness loses its home in our emotions. Thankfulness and praise are the remedy for a spirit of heaviness from the great Physician Himself.

A Force in the Field

There is a fresh wind blowing on us that is refreshing us and infusing life into discouraged places in our hearts. Things can and will change in a moment's time. Windows from Heaven are opening up for us with resources and everything we need to accomplish the task we were born to do. There is a new surge of expectancy arising in us where discouragement and weariness has set in.

Just because it was dark and vision was limited, doesn't mean God wasn't working behind the scenes to prepare things for our future. We are getting fresh fuel for this journey and if we take care of His purpose, He will surely take care of ours and everything that pertains to us.

We have a green light to GO. The angels go before us, the Holy Spirit directs and protects us, and God directs our feet to those He has been drawing to Himself. Many, many people are returning to their first love and many are finding Him for the first time, even those who have denied His existence. These are exciting times we live in where people are so desperate to have that life-changing experience and find their true destiny for their lives. God's purpose for His bride is to move in power as His light expels darkness everywhere.

Your Kids Are Coming Back!

Families restored, stolen inheritances repaid (7 times), promotions, advancements, and kids you have prayed for that you thought were too far gone, are experiencing the hand of God in their lives. On our outreaches, we have encountered many of them who have told us people were praying for them. They are desperate to return to their calling and purpose in the way they were designed. These champions will create a new expression of "Church" as the face of the Church is changing and they are bringing their friends with them. These are restoration days and days of answered prayers from years ago. Keep focused on the Chief and He will guide us into this new frontier. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)
