I really enjoy words that are not only powerful but fun and have a ring to them...like this word by our friend Theresa Phillips.
Just the title itself, "Everything Green for 2017," catches your eye and makes you want to read what this is all about.
I won't give too much away but I will share this prophetic word of the Lord by Theresa:
He answered, "Theresa, the green represents the now and the future. 2017 will be a fulfilling of many promises and new beginnings. I will begin to revisit old wells that have been stopped-up by various situations..."

"Everything Green for 2017"

Think Green
I had a dream early one morning. I knew it was from God because I had been hearing the word "green" for weeks, but I let it go. Then, I had a dream that confirmed I was hearing "green" from the Lord.
In my dream, I had my hand in water and I was wearing a green-stoned ring. The stone shined so brightly it took my breath away, but I let it go. The scene changed and I saw a green wallet that was lying on a sidewalk.
As I awoke, I knew the Lord was speaking to me. "What and why is this, Lord?" I asked in my heart. He spoke to my heart, "Theresa, the color for 2017 is green."
"Golly Lord, I didn't know a color was used for a year? I know fashion usually states a color, but I'm understanding for 2017 it's green."
I went back to the memory of my dream of the wallet and the ring. I remember the wallet was very fat with dollar bills—green. The wallet was a vibrant green color and was lying on the sidewalk. I asked the Lord, "Why this and why now?" (Photo via Pixabay)
He answered, "Theresa, the green represents the now and the future. 2017 will be a fulfilling of many promises and new beginnings. I will begin to revisit old wells that have been stopped-up by various situations. While visiting these places, I will begin to remove the obstacles that were in the way. They will be removed by prayer, by word, by deeds and by actions. I can and will remove some supernaturally and some with angelic help. But most will be removed by loving and forgiving and helping."
I got the understanding that the ring in my dream represented the covenant God makes with His people during seasons of promise. I believe the wallet represented abundance and provision, and I understood that it will be noticed, because in my dream it was an outstanding color. Therefore, God will do some outstanding provision exploits in 2017.
Then He spoke clearly this Scripture, "Now unto Him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." Eph 3:20 KJV
Interpretations of the Word Green
I then did a bit of a study about green in the Word. The color green in Scripture comes from several Hebrew words:
"Yereq meaning green or green thing; 'yaraq' meaning green herbs, vegetables or garden greens; 'lach' meaning green or moist, fresh or new in the sense of plants; 'abiyb' meaning green ears of corn; 'ra‘anan' meaning green and flourishing; 'eb' meaning fresh green or green shoots; 'ratob' meaning green, moist juicy fresh; 'yarowq' meaning green thing."
Looking at these Hebrew words, I believe this year being marked by the color "green" spiritually, represents a new beginning. I believe one of the interpretations of the color green is the ability to be of assistance when called upon and to be ready and faithful."But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever" (Psalm 52:8).
I also see the color green representing having strength, being well-watered and productive. "For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit" (Jeremiah 17:8).
In my studies, I was amazed at how important the color green is. As I did further study, I found that the world views the color green as the color of life, renewal, nature, and energy. It is associated with meanings of growth, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility, and the environment. Green is also traditionally associated with money, finances, banking and ambition. I am earnestly praying that our Lord will remove the obstacles and pour out the prosperity and provision as He deems fit—His way. Even if I must work, I will be paid. If I have help, I will be thankful. If supernaturally I gain access to something tremendous, I shall give God the glory. If I am one to give, I know I shall be rewarded.
If then I create, I shall do it with gladness with God as co-Creator. Even so, I accept the vision of green for 2017 and I shall run with it for the Lord Himself has given it.
A Prayer for you and for the new: In Jesus name, I ask all of us who are reading this word to be loosed from past bitterness that prohibits the new you are trying to accomplish. For each one of us to be free for the new has begun to appear and hope is in the heart and hand of the Believer. I pray each one of us is advancing the Kingdom of God with an expectancy of provision and substance to fulfill the "green season". May everything we own turn green! In Jesus' name, Amen.
