There is an emergence of watchman who are being raised to rebuild and protect the walls in this hour. These watchmen are powerful intercessors girded with kingly authority and wisdom to overthrow any attack and opposition that arises and to confound the enemy's plans.

Global Unrest
Have you noticed there has been an unprecedented uprising of confusion all around us in this moment of time? With recent hurricanes, devastating and heartbreaking loss of life and the impending presidential election in the US, it seems every news and media outlet, including social media, is in an urgent flurry of spreading as much negativity and fear as possible. No matter what part of the world you live in, one cannot deny the escalating fear in the atmosphere.
I sense the enemy has released a spiritual hurricane of sorts, much like the natural one over the Atlantic recently; but this one has intentions of wreaking a different kind of havoc. It's sent to confuse, distract, divide and plunder – particularly aimed against the Body of Christ to disarm her.
I recently spent some time searching my heart over this very thing as I was feeling so unsettled. I couldn't shake this ongoing feeling of confusion and frustration I was sensing in my spirit, and in asking the Holy Spirit what to do about it, I heard Him simply reply, "Turn off the noise." I was taken aback because it didn't seem to give any immediate answer or clarity to my current feelings of anxiety. As I sat a little while longer with Him, this vision then played out before me:
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
I saw Jesus walking through a magnificent golden archway with blinding bright light surrounding Him. There was the sense of a holy, reverential fear as He walked down the middle of the aisle, surrounded by a sea of the sons of men. As though a giant in comparison to them, His mere presence captivated every person. He was both lovely and fierce, and there was complete silence as He walked in. His Royal robe was following Him as it draped behind Him along the aisle.
I feel my words are inadequate to describe the sense of awe that filled the room. Every tongue silent before Him as every eye watched this perfect and beautiful King of love, the King of glory, walking before them. My heart melted at this scene, and I knew instantly He was wanting to get a message across to me loud and clear, "Keep your focus on Me."
The Holy Spirit's prompting to my heart and this vision, paired together, were no coincidence. I believe the Holy Spirit is reminding us in this hour to turn from every noise that would distract us from beholding our one and true King.
Don't Lose Sight of Who You Are
The enemy has been attempting to unleash fear in every arena with the plan to divide the Body of Christ. Why? In being distracted away from beholding our King, we lose sight of who we are (and our authority and ability to overcome). The noise of the world right now is distraction. I am not saying that we become ignorant and turn a blind eye to what is happening; but instead of allowing it to affect us in fighting amongst ourselves, we turn and keep our main focus on our King. For He alone stands above the sons of men.
Zechariah 14:9 tells us, "And the Lord shall be King over all the earth; in that day the Lord shall be the only one worshiped, and His name the only one."
If we lose sight of Him, we lose sight of ourselves. For in beholding Him, we are beholding Love. In beholding what is happening in the world, we behold fear. Where are your affections turned towards today? The perfect Love of our King will cast out all fear – so refocus your attention and affections toward Him.
The enemy stands to keep us distracted, with our affections turned toward the world and its arena of fear. For he knows that a house divided against itself cannot stand. Distraction is described as extreme agitation and frenzy of the mind; it DETRACTS from your peace and it DISARMS your strength.
Restoring the Foundations
When Nehemiah was called to rebuild the wall of the city of Jerusalem, God charged the Israelites with specific orders: for every two people, one had to build the wall, while the other had to stand at their back armed with weaponry and on watch. The Israelites were up against an enemy with the intention to destroy Jerusalem and its foundations, and therefore their tactics had to be precise and vigilant: rebuild in unity, protect each other and fight off distraction.
There is an emergence of watchman who are being raised to rebuild and protect the walls in this hour. These watchmen are powerful intercessors girded with kingly authority and wisdom to overthrow any attack and opposition that arises and to confound the enemy's plans.
As Christ's Body, we cannot afford to be distracted and disunited in this hour. We cannot defend our walls as well as turn our swords back at our own. We cannot allow the enemy to level and destroy us while the world falls to ruins – the world is awaiting for the Bride to arise in UNITY and POWER and LIGHT.
Despite our opposing political opinions, despite our differences in beliefs and doctrine, we must remember who we are – God's ambassadors, here to shine a light TOGETHER over the darkened state of our world. As brothers and sisters in Christ, our King is one and the same. Rather than using our weaponry to fight and tear each other down, we need to be protecting each other's backs, rebuilding in unity, and fighting off distraction and the enemy's plans.
The Brilliance of the Bride
As the above mentioned vision continued to unravel before me, I couldn't help but recognize that not one person was distracted by another person; not one person was comparing themselves to another. Their eyes, including my own, were locked in awe of the King. As He neared the altar that awaited Him at the end of the long walkway, He turned and faced the doorway where He had just walked through. I could see the expectation and excitement in His eyes as a shift took place in the room. There was an excited murmuring as I could hear whispers, "She's coming. Here she comes."
I briefly turned back to the doorway to see the outline of the Bride walking up to the entrance. Bright light and glory surrounded her as she proceeded to walk in toward her King. Dazzling splendor surrounded her that reflected the beauty of her love for her Bridegroom King.
Beloved, your hour is upon you. Turn off the noises and distractions of this world, pray for your leaders and the surrounding situations but keep your focus and attention on your King. Protect your brothers and sisters backs and let's fight off the distractions of the enemy together.
Arise in the beauty and splendor that He has bestowed upon you. Shine your light in this hour to those in need, shine your love in response to contrasting opinions, shine His truth over a generation hungry for truth. United as One. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)
