 Theresa Phillips has had many profound, deep encounters with the Lord. Many times, before she shares a revelation the Lord gave her...she tells us "how" she entered her encounter. You're getting a teaching in encountering the Lord here as well!
I really like hearing about the "how" people encounter the Lord. It helps and provokes us to have them for ourselves, to be sensitive to the Lord's promptings and helps us listen in to what He is trying to say...this will really help you!

A Visitation...
As I was recently worshipping, I heard words coming out of the atmosphere...I heard a sound of voices off in the distance. The words came closer like a whirlwind all around me. The voices began to become clearer. I was actually feeling such joy in me, for I knew something wonderful was happening.
What was He going to say? What was He going to do? What am I going to see? I was thrilled! He was moving! Then He spoke...I knew He was about to share something with me. I stilled myself to listen. I could feel my heart longing for a visitation.
Habakkuk 2:1, "I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts;
I will look to see what He will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint."
My heart has been very burdened for the Body of Christ. I know that there is turmoil in all places. What can we say? What can we do? Who are we today? The world is shifting in a dramatic way very fast and many are being lost in its momentum.
As I watch and listen to the sound of the Church, I am certain many have escaped into what was...and are trying to find shelter in the spirit of what they know…they were fearful of what MIGHT not be or what will be.
Yet, this is a BRAND NEW day and new time with what is being released. We, the Church, should not be afraid. We must lay aside all fears and condemnation, for GOD says in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
BUT something was happening there as I was worshipping, praying, meditating and watching. Then these words came to me as if a blanket was warming me. I knew right then and there a covenant was being made with me and with you, and with those of "whosoever will".
"Subscribe to My Presence"
I basked…waiting. I could hear my heart beating louder than before. Then He spoke, "Theresa, those who will 'subscribe to My presence' will receive a double portion of their seed sown in the New Year" (Oct 2-Oct 4). Subscribe means "to belong to".
As I continued to wait I began to hear more: The longing of the souls is arising to our Father, and the Almighty has given permission to give back to the inhabitants of "the presence" – a double portion according to the seed in which they sow in this season. This portion will be used to establish the workings of the spirit for the sake of restoration.
The Lord says, "I am doubly pleased to give this return, for many have been in need, want and desire for a long time. If My people hear the cry of the spirit in their own lives, they will know where to sow that seed. I am watching and listening and I am giving back," says the Lord! "Theresa, prepare to sow..."
I was charged with this new covenant and I had to look some things up. The "double portion" I was sensing in the spirit was that which had been unresolved...and restoration of that which had been taken away – that dream that was thwarted and more. I personally needed to hear this and I will dutifully respond.
This Scripture bounded in my soul was Zechariah 9:12, "Return to the stronghold, O, prisoners who have the hope; This very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you."
Double Portion Return
I meditated and heard: "Double Portion RETURN will be released as a seed is sown during this New Year – Oct 2- Oct 4.''
He spoke again and said: "When the seed is sown, two check marks will go next to your name," says the Lord, "and Double will come to you. This will be financial and spiritual, plus you will begin to see a manifestation of My Spirit take you into two's. Two for the price of one. Two choices...two, two, two. Yes, a 'Double Portion.' You will begin to see two in many places and there you will ask Me for a double portion."
Now...How to Subscribe to the "Presence"
The term "the presence" is often described to one who is in "the presence" of the King. Meaning when you are with the King you are with "the presence". Also defined as the highest title of a reigning king. To subscribe to the presence can be described as releasing oneself to the "Almighty presence" activity. Activating our senses to KNOW the presence...this clarifies the subscription to "the presence" because we have now allowed ourselves to "belong to" Him. He is not only our Savior but our Lordship and our sovereign Lord. Meaning, He is the only reigning King to taking dominion of me.
Meaning I have, by my own FREE will, given my entire being to this reigning King...and He is the Lord of double.
So, I pray for all of us: Dear Lord, my Lord and King, I fully give my heart, soul, body and passion to Your will in my life. I choose to pursue the presence with all diligence, and I will inherit the promise of this double portion. I choose to ask You for wisdom and virtue, for I am fully Yours in Jesus' name. Amen.
