"Restored to the Father's Table of Royalty"
by Nate and Christy Johnston, Gold Coast, Australia

From the Desk of Steve Shultz:

Steve ShultzMore and more words are coming out about the restoration at hand for many in the Body of Christ. I think it will really shock some of you of what God is bringing into your life!

Nate and Christy Johnston share an extremely hope-filled word that will be beneficial to us all. The Johnston's share:

We are in a season right now where Abba Father is restoring His children back to their rightful place at His table. It is not only a season of divine promotion, but reinstatement and restoration. Where there has been great loss, confusion, discouragement, disorientation, and identity theft, the Father is calling His beloved children and calling us back to where we belong to eat the fruits of His love, mercy and favor at the seat of royalty alongside Him!

You have got to read this word for yourself and share it with those who've been dealing with "hope-deferred"... and get ready for all the Lord will restore on your behalf!

Please forward this word to your friends! Encourage them to subscribe to the Elijah List right here: http://elijahlist.com/subscribe.

"Restored to the Father's Table of Royalty"
by Nate and Christy Johnston, Gold Coast, Australia

We are in a season right now where Abba Father is restoring His children back to their rightful place at His table. It is not only a season of divine promotion, but reinstatement and restoration. Where there has been great loss, confusion, discouragement, disorientation, and identity theft, the Father is calling His beloved children and calling us back to where we belong to eat the fruits of His love, mercy and favor at the seat of royalty alongside Him!

I am reminded of the story of Mephibosheth in this season. Mephibosheth was the son of Jonathan who was lamed at around five years old when his nurse ran with him in fear at the news of his father and grandfather dying in battle. In her sheer haste and fear, she dropped him so severely it disabled him for the rest of his life. Fearing that the Philistines may take both her and the child as slaves, she ran to a town called Lo-Debar, where Mephibosheth spent the remainder of his childhood.

Lo-Debar literally means "without pasture". When I further studied its meaning, I came across something amazing. When you separate the two root words here "Lo" is defined as "no" or "none". The word "debar" has deeper connotations, which can be defined as fruitfulness, or significantly, it has also been used to describe "the inner sanctuary" of the Holy of Holies. Put simply, Lo-Debar possessed "none" of the qualities or fruitfulness that would be found in the "inner sanctuary" of the Holy of Holies. Mephibosheth was living in a place that was desolate, without pasture, and it was far from the intimate inner sanctuary where he belonged. Lo-Debar was a wilderness, the complete opposite of his rightful inheritance.

Do You Know Who You Really Are?

Though born of royalty, a rightful Prince, Mephibosheth likely was unaware of his inheritance. Having been surrounded by poverty and wilderness every day for years, we read in 2 Samuel 9:6-8:

"When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan (who was the son of Saul), came before David, he bowed deeply, abasing himself, honoring David. David spoke his name: 'Mephibosheth.'
'Yes sir?'
'Don't be frightened,' said David. 'I'd like to do something special for you in memory of your father Jonathan. To begin with, I'm returning to you all the properties of your grandfather Saul. Furthermore, from now on you'll take all your meals at my table.'
Shuffling and stammering, not looking him in the eye, Mephibosheth said, 'Who am I that you pay attention to a stray dog like me?'"

We see how Mephibosheth views himself when he is reinstated back to the palace. King David calls him by his name, yet he calls himself a dog. If you read further into the story, I love that David does not even acknowledge that statement; he does not give it the right of passage. Instead, he restores to Mephiboseth everything that was rightfully his.

Perhaps you have found yourself in a wilderness much like Mephibosheth, maybe you feel far away from the protection and comforts of the Fathers inner sanctuary and it seems that this is the way it will always be. You have been here for a long time and the weariness of the battle, the exhaustion of loss, and the disappointments have left you feeling that this is all there is or will be ever be.

Shame Off You!

Like Mephibosheth, this is all you have known and you have spent a great deal of time in a place of sorrow without fruitfulness and you do not even deem yourself worthy. However, I am here to tell you: the King is calling your name today. The King is sending forth His messengers to reinstate you back to your rightful place of royalty in the inner courts of His sanctuary.

The name Mephiboseth literally means "exterminator of shame" and I believe that right now, the Father is exterminating your season of shame. The shame that has held you back, the shame that has told you that you are not worthy… shame is being exterminated as you take your place at His table.

Your King is calling you by your name, "Son, daughter, come back to where you belong - back into My heart of hearts." You are being restored in this season and the loss and disappointment of the past will be replaced with unspeakable joy, peace and provision. The situations that have lamed you in the past will no longer withhold you from your destiny and your inheritance.

Change Your Clothes

When we go through seasons of desolation and endless defeat we can subtly be robbed of our reminders of royalty. The victories of yesterday, the triumphs and breakthroughs, testimonies and moments of favor all seem like a distant memory we no longer identify with. We begin to wear our wilderness on the outside as well as the inside.

I hear the Lord saying to the "disenfranchised" today that, "Your season of restoration is here." Disenfranchised means "to be deprived of a right or privilege". You may have been cheated and robbed of your dreams but God has been planning to restore and reinstate you to your former glory but with so much more!

I prophesy today your clothes of poverty are being changed from rags and back into a royal robe. You are going to see God roll out the red carpet for you and bring so much healing to your hope-deferred heart. Sons and daughters of the King - it's time to leave the wilderness and be restored to the table!
