It's an awesome promise of healing, but at that moment, I was just too tired and my throat too swollen to even decree it! Exhausted and overwhelmed by pain, I felt powerless to battle for the breakthrough. Well, that's when God reminded me of Mark 4. I heard Him gently say, "Just scatter that seed; then while you sleep, I will take care of the rest."
So, that is exactly what I did. I put an audio version of Malachi Chapter 4 on repeat in my room and played it over myself as I lay helplessly in my bed. As that Word was released into the atmosphere, I prayed along with it in my mind until I fell asleep. Little did I realize that by doing this, I was scattering seed just as Jesus had instructed us to do in Mark 4:26-27.
As I slept, I had a powerful encounter. The Lord enabled me to see what the source of my sickness really was. I could see demons flying all around and assaulting me with the flu virus. It was horrifying. But, in that same vision, I saw the Lord Himself coming down from Heaven and hovering right above me. As I looked up, He spread the wings of His prayer shawl over me like a tent. Then, huge fireballs came thundering down from Heaven taking out every single one of my enemies while I remained safe and sound!
Within an hour I woke up, totally healed! The Word that God had given to me from Malachi 4:2 had been fulfilled in a dramatic way.
I know that my obedience to the simple precepts that God established in Mark 4 positioned me spiritually for that amazing miracle!
As you are reading this letter, you may be feeling too beat up from the battle that you are facing to do anything but collapse in sheer exhaustion. Well, why not get a miracle while you take a well-deserved nap? All you need is a RIGHT NOW Word from the Lord. Then scatter that seed by meditating on it, praying it in your heart, and especially by playing an audio track over yourself while you sleep. Then that Word will sprout, grow, and increase into a full-blown miracle for you in the middle of the night!
