Doug Addison: "Prophetic Word: Creating a New Reality"

In this Word for the month of July (and also containing revelation mentioning August and September), Doug is preparing you and the Church at large for the changes about to take place. Here is a quote that will give you a hint at where GOD is going this month:

"If your ability to hear God has seemed flat lately, then get ready to hear and take action. God will speak to you more clearly in July, and you will receive instructions that will help you get established in what He is doing over the next few months."

In this word, I've noticed that there are a number of "deceptively simple" instructions or exhortations. If you truly read and follow those instructions, things will go much more smoothly for you. And that's VERY GOOD NEWS!

It is really important to not judge things by outward appearances right now, because there is something more that is happening under the surface. Expect surprises and a deeper revelation to come to you from unexpected sources. Relax and let things unfold over the next few weeks.

You will be able to see the reason that things are the way they are and God will give you a plan to change it. Freedom will come as you let go of old ways of thinking and doing things. Try something new and you will be surprised at how effective you will become. Staying at peace is a key to getting through obstacles that will shift the spiritual atmosphere around you.

Between Now and September

August is going to bring the start of a new reality in your life. Prayers that you have prayed and things you have battled for a number of years are going to take root and be established.

Expect a major shift in September and watch as things kick into a higher gear.

The Power of Saying "Yes"

Agreeing with God's plans is really important. It is good to pray, "...on earth as it is in Heaven." When we come into agreement with Heaven over our lives, families, cities, and nations, we are asking to bring God's heavenly qualities into our lives. (Photo via Pixabay)

The Kingdom of God is very powerful and there are spiritual laws that are associated with it that we must activate. Here are a few spiritual principles:

• Faith: Being sure and trusting God even if things look opposite.
• Believe: It was the unbelief of people that even prevented Jesus from doing miracles at times.
• Give: You must activate giving in order to receive (not just money).
• Forgive: When you forgive, you open up the possibilities of grace being extended to you.

Also noteworthy is to bless and do not curse. If you judge, you will be judged by the same measure. Why are these things so important? Because there are spiritual laws and principles at work that can open things up or close them off. We carry the Kingdom of God within and around us.

Luke 17:21 NKJV ...For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you.

There is power where we put our thoughts, prayers, and actions. There is power when people say yes to God, but there's also power when people say no.

Let's join together to shift the spiritual atmosphere into a positive time of hope and expectation. There is power in agreement – even in agreeing with Heaven.

A Key to Breakthrough

Proverbs 11:27 NLT If you search for good, you will find favor; but if you search for evil, it will find you!

If you search for evil in yourself or others, then it can become your focus and can blind you from God's creative solutions.

Don't Miss What God is Doing

Did you know that an entire Samaritan city missed their time and visitation from Jesus? (See Luke 9.) How could this happen? Because of their blindness and theological short-sightedness, Samaritans and Jewish people did not get along at that time, which caused them to reject Jesus.

The ninth chapter of Luke opens with Jesus sending out the twelve disciples and giving them power to do miracles. They feed 5,000 people miraculously. Moses and Elijah appear with Jesus during the transfiguration. Many are healed and Jesus raises a woman from the dead. It is the height of His ministry.

Luke 9:51-53 NIV As the time approached for Him to be taken up to Heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. And He sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for Him; but the people there did not welcome Him, because He was heading for Jerusalem. In a similar way, God is preparing for a major visitation and wants to get people ready. We have to be sure to not reject this new movement based on our own understanding and differences. This is why Jesus was rejected by an entire town in Samaria when His power was unprecedented and the miracles and healings flowed generously from Him.

Luke 9:54-56 When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from Heaven to destroy them?" But Jesus turned and rebuked them. Then He and His disciples went to another village.

Even Jesus' disciples wanted to rain down judgment, but Jesus stopped them. It is so important to bless and not curse. It is important to not miss what God is preparing us for right now because of our religious mindsets.

Getting Practical

To practically apply this prophetic word, it would be good to do a negativity inventory over your life. Are there any of the principles I mentioned above that you need to strengthen? Are there people in your life that need to have the spiritual atmosphere shifted over them? Finding ways to bless and not curse them will really help.

Let's get ready for a new visitation coming and pray that God opens our eyes to see what is happening in the spiritual realm. Ask God to help you to be ready!
