1 Corinthians 14 is clear that prophesying is for ENCOURAGEMENT, EDIFICATION AND COMFORT. God knows the constant assault we are under as His Children.
Because of that, He gave the gift of prophesying in the Church for the purpose of counteracting all the junk the enemy throws at us. Prophesying is not the only gift. For instance, there is a gift of encouragement too.
That's why when we receive good encouragement, like these two words below by people of good reputation, we are more than thrilled to publish them for YOU. But more than that, GOD IS THRILLED that you can read these encouragements!!
Here is a snapshot from one of these words below:

"We're Getting An Upgrade"

I have been having an onslaught of dreams as to the new season we have shifted into. In a recent dream, the part I remembered was very limited but the significance of the dream was extensive.
The Dream
The dream was simple. We were in a setting where we were all getting brand new 4x4 Ram Tough pickup trucks. Now you should know I have never had such a dream nor have I ever had a natural desire to get such a pickup truck. The 4x4 had something on the vehicles in a very visible way and I could see it on two places. The front of the pickup had the prominent "Ram" on it and there was shiny, silver chrome all over as well.
A somewhat unique thing was that all the pickups had 8 tires (4 double wheels) that I understood greatly increased the traction. The trucks came in all kinds of colors but red, green and dark blue were the most common. I also noted how the high-end shock absorbers stood out and I remember thinking that they were so stout that bumps would easily be handled by this truck.
The Interpretation
We, His kids, who know we are His kids, are all getting new upgraded vehicles. We are getting a pickup truck, as this is a service vehicle and it is all about serving the Lambs/Rams agenda. We have 8 tires as this is going to make our vehicle a virtual all-terrain vehicle. We can go anywhere. Eight is the number of new beginnings and this is the present reality for many. There is shiny, silver chrome leading the way and all over the vehicle because it is all about redemption. Silver is the color and metal that speaks of redemption. The Lamb is redeeming everything right now and He wants us taking great hope for things being restored, everywhere we go. We are being outfitted with high-end shock absorbers so that nothing surprises us or knocks us off course. We will absorb any bumpy thing that might happen in 2015 because He is gracing us to stay on course and on mission.
The 4x4 on there twice refers to Ephesians 4:4, which is all about unity, "one body, one Spirit"; and Revelation 4:4 which is the throne room setting and tells of the 24 elders and 24 thrones around the throne room. This speaks of a new heavenly authority we will now step into as we carry the Lamb's agenda into every place of society. The feeling in the dream was that with these new vehicles we could go anywhere. I also remember feeling the sense of the power of these new vehicles.
Finally, the dominant red, green and dark blue are the colors of the mountains of media (red) economy (green) and education (dark blue) and they each respectively also speak of His Blood, provision and revelation. These three will begin to impose and make a difference this year. We really did catapult to a new place last year and now things are "picking up".
Make sure you have your new pickup this year and now make sure you get in it and use it. All creation is groaning and travailing for us to do so. We have been further empowered and we have been further released. He has been telling us to arise and shine and now He has provided the upgraded power vehicles to do so. Vroom... Vroom...

God Has Declared Over You...
And we say to those who will serve the almighty God, whose arm is not short, that He said, "I will deliver you. I will help you. I will preserve you. I will uphold you. I will defend you. I will restore to you what the enemy has stolen and what the cankerworm has eaten. The best years are not behind you. Your yesterdays are not your reference points." You are part of the end-time Body of Believers, and you have come full cycle into an opportunity that God is going to mark down in history as the greatest time for the Body of Christ that the world has ever seen. Champions, men and women, apostolic people, stand up, and stand up strong. Your children will be saved; your loved ones will be delivered; your life will make a difference; your presence will be of distinction; and the goodness of God in your life will produce the same works that Jesus did and greater works than these.
He has an appointment with you and me, and we will cross over the bridge of the prophetic of 2015, carrying with us the call into and the induction into an impartation that will enable us to occupy the time that we are living in, in victory. The fiber of this nation, the moral fiber of this world, will be lifted up to a level that God describes as an "upholding of all things" by the Word of His power. Nothing will fall apart in your life.
Nothing will be without significance in your life. But all of what God has declared to you and exceedingly, abundantly, and above what you understand, God has told me to declare over you today, and He has told me to have you mark your spirit and adjust your life for the greatest and swiftest and most accelerated promotion into the next level that God has in store for you.
You are the living first-century-faith reflection of a generation that is ready to meet this appointment. You are going to meet your appointment with the defeat of your enemy and with the victory of your God.
