Intro From Julie A. Smith:
The Fire of God has been a prophetic word and theme for this new season. His Holy Fire can and will do many things as Randy DeMain outlines some of this in his latest word.
As I read through Randy's word I thought of this passage in Hebrews 12: "Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our 'God is a consuming fire.'"
People have shared with me that they are experiencing a personal transformation and shifting in their spirit to make room for the new things God is doing in their lives. I think this transformation goes with what Randy shares:
"A deeper repentance is coming to the Church, one that will purify us to be able to sustain a restorative presence of the Lord. Let's engage this move of Holy Spirit and attend to the matters of the heart – His heart and our heart."
I would also encourage you, if you haven't done so already, to read Bob and Bonnie Jones' word from yesterday: Baptism of Fire - Highway of Holiness (2013-2014) which goes right along with this word.
Blessings,
Julie A. Smith, Managing Editor

God is Moving Again with Holy Fire – His Manifest Presence is Coming Upon the Priesthood
A Restoration of the Priesthood
In a moving story of adversity and barrenness, the Bible brings forth the account of Hannah, which is a story reflecting the desire of God and the Church in our time. Hannah is a type of the Church who desires more than anything to birth a child, a son, yet she remains barren after many years of marriage.
On the pilgrimage with her husband to participate in their yearly trek to Jerusalem to worship the Lord, Hannah cries out to the Lord:
"Then she made a vow and said, 'O Lord of Hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.'
"And it happened, that as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli watched her mouth. Now Hannah spoke in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard..." (1 Samuel 1:11-13a).
The timing of this event was incredible; the priesthood of Eli and his sons had become corrupt and undesirable unto the Lord. Eli's two sons were wicked and did not know the Lord.
It was time for a change, a new priesthood that would restore the people and put Israel back on track. Hannah's prayer was heard; she brought forth a son named Samuel, whom she dedicated to the Lord and His priesthood all the days of his life.
This same scenario is occurring in a measure today; a restoration of the priesthood of Believers is occurring to restore the way to God in "holiness and purity". Biblical history proves when the priesthood is right, so are the people.
His Holy Fire and Matters of the Heart
In some past revivals, Toronto gave us a refreshing and Brownsville – repentance.
In this time, God is moving again with fire – holy fire – and the fire of His manifest presence is coming upon the priesthood (see Malachi 3) to bring restoration of all things and purify our offerings.
Those who have been experiencing barrenness are in for a time of rejoicing as the heart cry of the Church is agreeing with the heart cry of God.
The mature sons, the priesthood, are being birthed.
Regarding the heart of God, He declares to Eli that this will be the sign of transition:
"Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever" (1 Samuel 2:35).
A deeper repentance is coming to the Church, one that will purify us to be able to sustain a restorative presence of the Lord. Let's engage this move of Holy Spirit and attend to the matters of the heart – His heart and our heart.
In another utterance, the Spirit of the Lord said, "Watch for arresting developments in the fall." I understood this to be an exposure of corruption on many levels of governmental and religious elements.
