Purpose |
Churches uniting for two nights and three days to prepare and get activated for igniting Oregon and the northwest with the Gospel and fire of His presence.
This time together is co-sponsored by seven congregations from around the state of Oregon with a common hunger for revival and awakening. We are eager to join together as a region to lift up worship, prayer, and declarations throughout the meetings. Spontaneous messages, ministry and activation of the saints in their gifts and callings will take place through the many pastors involved as the Holy Spirit leads. The leaders of the cosponsoring congregations will facilitate the meetings together. This is new ground with no specific speaking schedule and no exact sessions. We are anticipating the Holy Spirit to show up and show off. Anyone who is hungry for personal revival and a great awakening in Oregon, the Northwest, and America should come. We are all expecting to encounter God in ways that activate people in their gifts and callings. We expect healing, prophecy, and a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit.
Amos 9:11-13: "'On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old; That they may possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,' Says the Lord who does this thing. 'Behold, the days are coming,' says the Lord, 'when the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.'"
This event is similar to what happened in Acts chapter 4 when the Church began to experience persecution. Would they pull back or fight to win? It's past time for the Church to arise and be who we are, a Body united to bring revival and awakening to our nation.
Acts 4:24-31: And when they heard it, lifted their voices together with one united mind to God and said, O Sovereign Lord, You are He Who made the Heaven and the earth and the sea and everything that is in them, And now, Lord, observe their threats and grant to Your bond servants [full freedom] to declare Your message fearlessly, While You stretch out Your hand to cure and to perform signs and wonders through the authority and by the power of the name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.
