About the Author:

Alyse Best Muldoon moved from California to the East Coast with her two children to be White House Liaison for Mrs. Reagan in the 80's. In 1993, she married Joseph A Muldoon, Jr., and began breeding and showing hunter/jumper horses.
In March of 2008, Alyse's husband and beloved stepfather died of cancer within a day of each other. The disease had also taken her mother's life several years earlier. After watching her family members endure years of devastating chemotherapy, Alyse became passionate about helping others on their personal journey towards health and a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. She opened Briarley Hill Retreat at her farm, a place for learning, growing and healing.
Alyse is a trained health minister, an accomplished health food chef and teacher, and a licensed Biblical Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselors. Born in Los Angeles, California, she attended Southern Adventist University in Tennessee, and resides on her horse farm outside of Washington, D.C.
