The Ability to See - Vision for Purpose
Awakening from my sleep with the gentle but authoritative voice of the Lord, I listened to hear what He was about to reveal to me. So many times over the years, I had been awakened like this, and what followed always deeply impacted and changed me. With great expectation, I waited for His voice. Suddenly I heard, "I want to show you something."
I immediately got up to spend time with the Lord. As I entered the room where I have spent countless hours in His Presence and in study of the Word, I was literally overwhelmed by His Presence. Immediately, I was in the Spirit of the Lord, and I began seeing vision after vision. Each scene shifted to another scene that will be forever etched into my mind. Then I heard, "I will touch your eyes and give you greater capacity to see."
Immediately I felt the Presence of the Lord upon my eyes.
"Eyes to see what I see and what you need to see. I will increase the Seer anointing on your life."
Isn't it amazing how our natural minds begin to race at moments like these? Here I was in an incredible moment in the Lord, and I began to think, Does this mean greater clarity of future events?
The Lord answered my thought: "This for that, but also to show you what I have for you. As I give you the ability to see, you can decree and begin to come into agreement with Me, which will change things around you to come into divine order in your life. I will show you things to come. Through this window, what you see you will believe. What you believe, because of conviction and faith, you will decree and live by. The temporal around you will not set boundaries through circumstances or lack, but you will know that I have appointed this for you. This will cause you to operate out of My strength because it is My counsel for you. Who can stop or withhold those things I have for you? What do you see?"
Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isaiah 42:9
Renewed and Increased Vision
This is an excerpt from my upcoming book, I Saw You Under the Fig Tree. As this excerpt states, I believe this is a season of renewed and increased vision for purpose. Vision from the Lord moves us into greater purpose.
In the above word, the Lord gave me understanding regarding vision that brings out spiritual insight and perception of His plans and purposes for this season. In this current time, the Lord wants to favor each one of us in a greater way that brings Him glory. This increase will take place in every area of our lives.
My prayer for you is that the precious Holy Spirit would give you the ability to see and know with clarity the things He has purposed for you and your household in this season. It will also be a season of divine Jubilee for restoration of lost things. You will receive fresh joy as you see the new things He is birthing for you.
Many Blessings to you as you read this. May He favor you, lead you, and set your feet in the paths He has purposed for you!

For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [special] request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things-
