Saving Lives in Israel

In today's uncertain economic climate, many people have watched their real estate holdings lose value and they have taken a real beating in the stock market or have seen their retirement plans steadily erode away. Everyone seems to be asking, "What is the best investment I can make with my money right now?" Stocks? Bonds? Real estate? Gold?
Cost-conscious shoppers are trying to squeeze everything they can out of every penny as they try to get the most bang for their buck. But, sadly, far too many folks know the cost of everything, but they do not appreciate or understand the value of anything.
Scripture teaches, "What does it profit anyone if they gain the entire world and they lose their very soul?"
In this one statement, we are taught the enormous worth of a single human life—that it is of greater value than all the resources that this world has to offer.
That's why JUST ONE LIFE has fought to protect the lives of the most defenseless group of people in Israel for the past two decades—the unborn—with their enormous hope and promise for the future.
You might think that the richest deposits of wealth on this planet are the diamond mines, the gold and silver mines or the concentrations of uranium or platinum that are scattered around the earth. No, my friend, the greatest reservoir of wealth is located in untapped human potential that was sadly never realized.
The cemeteries are full of the dead who never acted upon or fulfilled their God-given purpose and potential. And, that is why abortion is such a tragedy, because it would be impossible to ever overestimate the divine potential that is locked up in every life. Just think about it.
In every tree there is a forest. |
In every bird there is a flock. |
In every fish there is a school. |
In every ram or bull there is a herd. |
In every person, there is a generation. |
The amazing impact that one solitary life can have is enormous. Because of the scourge of abortion, how many songs will never be written and sung? How many books will never be published? How many discoveries or cures will be delayed or never realized? Human life, with all its glorious potential, is precious indeed.
