Micah Level: A New Book, Not Just a New Chapter

Intro from Christa Elisha:

Steve ShultzI am pleased to introduce my dear friend, Micah Level, to The Elijah List readers.

I have personally walked with Micah and his wife, Meredith, in ministry and friendship for the past five years. Our families have walked together through deep valleys of persecution, pain, and purification—the kind of valleys that strip a man of every false thing and leave only what was real to begin with.

These days, when it comes to prophetic ministry, the most important thing I consider when receiving a prophetic word is whether the prophet releasing that word carries Christlike character and integrity in all things. I can say with confidence, after watching Micah and Meredith's journey, that if there ever was a man after God's own heart, who earnestly and consistently desired to know the thoughts, the emotions, and the will of God in all things, it would be my friend Micah.

His apostolic and prophetic ministry has been a profound source of inspiration, equipping and encouraging both me and my family. I have no doubt it will have the same impact on The Elijah List family abroad. I encourage you to read the word the Lord has given him with an open heart. It will not return void.

A New Book, Not Just a New Chapter
By Micah Level

"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it." (Revelation 2:17 NKJV)

Right now, Jesus is saying that you have overcome the last season. You held fast to His name and did not deny your faith in the trial. The persecution, the demonic attacks and false doctrines, the sexual perversion, the religious Nicolaitan error of harming the sheep and lording over people—none of it overcame you. You have overcome. These things have passed.

This is bigger than turning a page. This is not the end of a chapter; it's the end of a whole book. God has declared the end over the last volume—its assignments, its alignments, its trials, and its cast of characters. Now a whole new volume is about to be written; new characters, new adventures, and new stories are waiting for you.

"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness. And rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:18–19 NKJV)

Forget the former things. There is a fresh wind blowing, carrying you into a new season with fresh grace to step into whole new assignments and alignments.

The Stone, the New Name, and the New Assignment

This is where the overcomer's reward comes in. Jesus is releasing hidden manna and a white stone with a new name written on it—a name no one knows except the one who receives it. That stone represents a new identity, not just a new season. He isn't only handing you a new assignment; He's handing you a new sense of who you are. (Photo via Pexels)

Out of the last season of trial and tribulation, God is releasing a spirit of wisdom and revelation in unprecedented measure. Deep hidden things will be revealed. Scripture will be seen in a new light. Insight that's been sealed up will be unlocked. This is the fruit of the new book beginning—new understanding for a new assignment, tied to a new name.

A Word for the Body of Christ and for You

This is happening corporately over the Body of Christ, and it is happening individually, over you. God is doing something in this hour that is bigger than any one person's story, and He is doing it specifically, personally, in your story too. The shift from book to book is both a Church-wide movement and a deeply personal one.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV)

You are a new creation. The old has passed and the new has come. His blood has washed and cleansed you of all your sin. You are completely and entirely new in Christ.

How You Overcame: The Blood, Your Testimony, and a Laid Down Life

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." (Revelation 12:11 NKJV)

This is exactly how you overcame the last season, and it's worth naming each piece:

The blood of the Lamb. In the midst of accusation, you learned to enforce and stand in the blood of Jesus. You didn't just believe in it; you enforced it. You held your ground in it. When the accuser came with his voice, you learned to answer him with the Blood, over and over, until it became a reflex instead of a battle.

The word of your testimony. You held fast to what God had spoken over you. You didn't let the trial rewrite your testimony. You kept declaring what He said was true, even when the circumstances argued otherwise, and that holding fast was part of what won the season. (Photo via Pixabay)

Not loving your life to the death. There has been a real death worked in you—a death to self, a laying down of your own life, your own agenda, and your own comfort. It was not a small surrender, but a genuine dying to what you wanted so that what God wanted could live. That death to self was not wasted. It was part of the overcoming.

This is the pattern God has been forming in you: blood, testimony, and a laid down life. And it's why the stone and the new name are yours to receive; you overcame the way Revelation says overcoming happens.

Overcoming Accusation, Assassination, and Persecution

Look back at what the last season actually was: a season of accusation and assassination attempts against your character, your calling, and your name. It was a season of persecution and trial, and you overcame it. That season of constant accusation is done. Condemnation is not your portion. The white stone being handed to you clears you of all the guilt and shame of that former season.

Your past does not define you; Jesus defines you. Your mistakes, the sin done to you, the pain, the trial, the battle—none of it gets the final word. Your sin and the sin committed against you are forgiven. It's time to let it go and move forward in Him, washed white by His precious blood.

An Invitation to Receive

Right now, Jesus is inviting us to receive the white stone with the new name, and to receive the hidden manna. He said, "He who has an ear, let him hear" (Revelation 2:17). There is an invitation that's been deposited in this moment to stop, listen, and remember with the ears of the Spirit and the eyes of our heart. So don't only reflect on the last season; remember the goodness of God in it. But don't stop there either. Receive revelation and clarity for what's next. The stone is being handed to you. The manna is being set before you. Reach out and receive it.
