Chloie Stafford: The Rise of the Gatekeepers

Gatekeeping—Our Inheritance This year we're going to see gatekeeping return to its original intent across the Body of Christ like never before! Gatekeeping is the inheritance of every Believer. It is a sacred position committed to guarding the gates of lives, households, cities, churches and ministries in order to prevent enemy access at all costs. Yet, it hasn't always been put to action in this way. Removal of the False System of Gatekeeping Under the one-man ministry model, we saw gatekeeping become less and less about equipping Believers to keep the enemy out, and more about keeping the people of God at arm's-length in order to protect a platform. For years this led to the following: • Self-preserved wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, • Decreased discipleship, • Stunted growth in sons and daughters, • Weakened lines of defense across ministry and leadership teams, • Undeveloped giftings and callings. This is why the shaking of 2025 was so necessary. It not only served to dismantle the altar of celebrity Christianity but, ultimately, exposed the counterfeit gatekeeping spirit that was behind it—one sent to stifle the maturity of the Bride.
Arise and Protect! 2025 was the year that the builders built, and now 2026 will be the year that the gatekeepers arise to protect it! "After the wall had been rebuilt and I had set the doors in place, the gatekeepers, the musicians and the Levites were appointed." (Nehemiah 7:1 NIV) This is the hour when we see the Church move from sitting on the sideline to standing guard. It's the time when Believers shift from being the "once excluded" to the "now equipped." It's the moment when tried and trusted relationship makes way for true reformation. Unity and teamwork will carry an authority in this next chapter that makes demons question their assignment. The gatekeepers are advancing across regions, cities, businesses, households, and leadership teams in 2026! They will protect, at all costs, what God has entrusted to them. They will hold the line of defense where they have been planted. They will guard, serve, and give their lives to fortify the inheritance that Jesus laid His down to receive. The Body of Christ is now stepping into her blood-bought identity in a glorious way that we've not yet seen. She's rising determined, united, and on mission in 2026—a New Testament Church in which the gates of Hell will not prevail. Rise, gatekeepers, rise!
