Bill Pagaran: 2026 - Year of the Warrior
Jan 14, 2026
Introduction from Aimee Herd:
In years past, I've had the privilege of getting to know Jonathan Maracle, leader of Broken Walls, as he and the band came into the studio for an interview where I was working in radio. In October of last year, when several tribal villages were hit hard by the typhoon that ravaged parts of Alaska, I contacted Bill Pagaran to find out how people could help and pray for those affected. It was through that event that I got to know Bill and his extremely important work with Carry the Cure. Log onto CTC's website for more information, CarrytheCure.org, or connect with Bill on social media: Facebook and on X. And visit BrokenWalls.com for some truly Spirit-filled First Nations worship that glorifies the Lord! Aimee Herd 2026: Year of the Warrior Word received from the Lord on January 3, 2026: As I was going about my day, the Lord suddenly dropped this word into my spirit. When I arrived at home and sat at my table, I began shaking. Then I began writing the word down. As I did, Amanda (my wife) asked if I was hungry (because I shake when I am). I said, "I am hungry! But, I'm hungry for the Lord, His word, and how He wants to move through us in this season." This is the "Year of the Warrior"! It is a season for us to become violent for the Kingdom of God—taking hold of the things of God, pushing aside the former things that would entangle us, and laying aside those worthless and belittling mindsets that are far below God's ways. "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." (Matthew 11:12 NKJV)
Warring with the Mind of Christ Warriors in this day will have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). "... that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness." (Ephesians 4:22–24 NKJV) This season, we need to become violent, vigilant, and victorious by not letting go of what God has said is ours. Warriors, true warriors, will not let their minds be taken captive by the enemy. They will take hold of all that God has provided for us to be victorious and give Him glory. "... casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:5 NKJV) "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:12–14 NIV) The Invitation from Heaven The invitation from Heaven is to become warriors like David, those with a pure heart for God. But warriors in this day will be uncompromised and fully surrendered to the love of God. In the coming days, God will fill those who are submitted to Him with love and the power of God to take down the giants in this land and to destroy the lion and the bear (1 Samuel 17). These are the ones who will finish the job and the tasks that the Lord has given. Nothing will be left undone. The mark of these warriors will be the fear of the Lord (Judges 7:4–7, Gideon's army selected). They will not fear man no matter what direction the wicked come from. There is an open Heaven for those who are willing to GO. Go fearlessly to share the GOOD NEWS north, south, east, west, and from Heaven to earth (Ephesians 2). Who Will Choose This Mission?
The Lord finished by saying we shall not be shaken but stirred by what He is saying. He quickly brought Psalm 45 to my mind. "To the Chief Musician. Set to 'The Lilies.' A Contemplation of the sons of Korah. A Song of Love." "My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. "You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever. Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, with Your glory and Your majesty. And in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness; and Your right hand shall teach You awesome things. Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King's enemies; the peoples fall under You. "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions." (Psalm 45:1–7 NKJV) An Opportunity to Change History Those who accept this mission will write, or rewrite, history. Be filled with faith that can move mountains and call on Heaven, in every dimension, to invade the earth. Prepare your heart, clear your mind, make room, and take up your arms. This is the day of the Lord. This is a year of the warrior! "And the Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come!' And let him who hears say, 'Come!' And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely." (Revelation 22:17 NKJV)
