Sandra, their mother, is 17 and lives in a Muslim village in Uganda. At 15, she was stunned to learn she was pregnant. She struggled with humiliation and guilt as she confronted her community and family.
Nutrition was a concern for the twins. Sandra fed her babies water and tea leaves since she was underweight and couldn't produce enough milk.
CAN YOU IMAGINE! Soon, the babies were in danger of starving. As they struggled with hunger, these delicate twins' cries and screams echoed through the surrounding villages, and EVERYONE HEARD the cries.
So did we.
The only water option was a muddy watering hole or a village water well, which, unlike those we provide, costs the people money. Sandra was unable to give even those tiny funds.
Show Mercy International, our partner ministry in Uganda, operated a medical facility near where Sandra lived. Thanks to
your gifts, ElijahStreams had just helped expand this medical clinic into a 24/7 facility with nutritional care and help for mothers like Sandra.

ElijahStreams had also drilled a new freshwater well through Show Mercy International, near Sandra's home, alleviating all their water issues and allowing the babies to drink formula with clean water.
Without clean water and nourishment, the twins probably would have died.

I don't believe in coincidences. Do you? I know God intentionally saved Sandra's life and the life of her twins. Her name means – DEFENDER OF HUMANITY. Of course, the enemy would try to take her out and lavish shame and rejection all over her. Everyone knows the enemy loves to destroy lives and destinies.
Sandra is a fighter who has struggled but is now holding her head up high. She now has resilience in her heart. Through your gift, the LOVE you have shown her is flourishing. You can see it in the smiles of the twin boys.
