From the desk of Steve Shultz:
After all that's shaking, we need to continue hearing and being encouraged by words of HOPE. The nations, including this one, must have lots of prayer and hope to offer one another. It's truly the days of "one anothering" as never before. And what will it lead to? Jesus' prayer for us to become ONE.
Bob Hartley, as always, shares a most encouraging word of HOPE to us the Body, who IS the hope to the nations. Bob's assistant Jen Strohkorb writes an excellent intro for him below.

Bob Hartley:
What Are the Building Blocks of Hope?
Intro by Jen Strohkorb, Assistant to Bob Hartley:
I would like to set a table for this important word that is a continuation of the prophetic encounter about the Holy Ghost Hope Glory Train and the preparation of Hope Craftsmen for 2011-2020.
The Lord is trumpeting this message to the Body of Christ and He is zealous for His people. He is revealing Himself as the Isaiah 42:13 One: "The LORD will march out like a champion, like a warrior He will stir up His zeal; with a shout He will raise the battle cry and will triumph over His enemies." He is fighting for us!?He is revealing the building blocks that are necessary to equip the Body of Christ for the season we are in.
Below is a written overview of the word and encounter that Bob shared with our KC Hope Team and family.
Please consider and pray through this important word as we continue to go deeper into the lessons laid out by the Lord.
Blessings,
Jen Strohkorb and the Deeper Waters Team

God's Plan for Hope Craftsmen
In December, I shared a series of prophetic encounters from the Lord regarding 2011 and beyond. From the porch swing of Heaven, Jesus showed me that there would be five Great Waves of Challenge to the nations and to individuals in 2011, which are actual doors to greater life and hope in Him (see Hosea 2:14-15). I saw God's solutions of hope that would take what was intended for evil and turn it into good through "Hope Craftsmen" ? whom He is raising up to overcome the waves with "hope advanced tools" and "building blocks" from Heaven. (To read the original articles on The Elijah List go to: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.)
This week, I shared further revelation with our team regarding these Hope Craftsmen, and the advanced tools or building blocks that they would need to succeed in God in this hour.
The Lord woke me up with Isaiah 42:13, and I felt His burning passion and zeal for us as Jesus said, "I am passionate about you, and I am fighting for My people and destroying their enemies that are strongholds against their hope! I have discernment of how to help you and others with great zeal."
The LORD will march out like a champion, like a warrior He will stir up His zeal; with a shout He will raise the battle cry and will triumph over His enemies.?Isaiah 42:13
The Need for Hope in the Body of Christ
Jesus took me to the base of a mountain and I saw many Hope Craftsmen being led to the tops of mountains of different cities and nations, which represent the arenas of influence like government, media and the arts, business, family, the Church and education. I recognized many of these ones, and I had been one to encourage them to ascend these mountains of influence to bring forth the Psalm 24:7 reality, where we invite the Lord in to every arena of life.
Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle...?Psalm 24:7-8
I watched these Hope Craftsmen ascending to the top of the mountains and I noticed that they were wearing thick, coke-bottle glasses. These eyeglasses represented their vision and ability to see God in the situation and in everyday life and how God was working in the midst of the challenges. Jesus then pointed out different leaders (including me) who took away their coke-bottle glasses thinking that these glasses weren't sufficient for the next phase of the battle, desiring to provide better glasses for them, but not realizing we were leaving them vulnerable. I thought of Proverbs 29:18, "Where there is no vision, the people perish" (without a healed and expanded vision of God).
Next, I saw that these Hope Craftsmen had strong-powered hearing aids that gave them the ability to hear God rightly. These hearing aids seemed old and out-dated with lots of static, and as I watched, the leaders again took away their hearing aids from them, believing they could provide better tools.
Next, Jesus showed me that these Hope Craftsmen were covered in strong body armor, which represented marvelous camaraderie and the importance of community with one another. I was amazed to see that the leaders came and took away their body armor as well.
I watched as these leaders then left these Hope Craftsmen alone on top of the mountains as they descended to find better tools for them. I noticed a stirring of shadows gliding through the trees, and I saw a sophisticated stealth army emerge that captured the Hope Craftsmen and pulled them into rooms to be tortured. They were tortured in mind and spirit with hopelessness. It was cruel!
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.?1 Peter 5:8
The Two Types of Leaders in the Body of Christ
I asked the Lord why the leaders had removed the tools these Hope Craftsmen needed to succeed and advance in this hour. Jesus showed me two types of leaders:
1) The first group of leaders walked back down the mountain with good intentions, purposing to bring back better tools for them because they thought these tools were ineffective; but they felt inadequate and needed greater help, which the Lord intended to bring. These leaders also got unintentionally involved in other affairs. They were well-intentioned but lacked understanding and were leaving the people vulnerable.
2) The second group of leaders were those within the Body that are in positions of influence that have used other people and leaders to advance their own agenda for the cause or for their ministry (like David used Uriah for his own purposes in 2 Samuel 11). There were also those in the Body of Christ that were using the kings or leaders for their own purposes (like Absalom used David in 2 Samuel 15). This mindset was about what the person could give rather than loving them, serving them and coming alongside and strengthening them.
The Lord is zealous for His people. He is far more interested in love, and He said, "If it's not done in love, it's not of Me!" He reminded me of Paul's admonition in 1 Corinthians 13:1-3:
"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing."
Equipping Hope Craftsmen with the Book of Hope
In another dream a few days later, the Lord showed me the solution for these Hope Craftsmen and leaders. I saw them all lined up outside a building called "The Institute of Higher Learning." Over the door of the Institute it said, "The Class of Useful Information." It was the highest of learnings! In this classroom, they were being taught from the "Book of Hope."
All Are Approved
I was looking over the shoulder of the admittance director reading the resumes, and I would think to myself, "This one's not qualified, they are not ready." However, I realized that the admittance director was Jesus, and He stamped "Approved" on every resume. I saw that some people had to get back in line two or three times before they were ready (including myself), but all were approved. Jesus said, "They are approved because they are willing."
Building Blocks from the Book of Hope
After this, I went into the classroom as the Book of Hope was being taught. In this classroom, there were building blocks being put in place to prepare these Hope Craftsmen to win the battle over the mountains of influence in cities and nations across the earth.
Lesson 1: Unconditional Love and Hope
In the first lesson, such deep understanding was coming forth on how Jesus desired to reveal His Isaiah 42:13 face as the Man of zeal and love for His people. In this classroom, they were learning unconditional love and hope. First, they learned how to love where they don't get anything in return. Second, they learned how to be a keeper of the promises all the days of their lives and to see the silver lining behind every cloud.
Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.?John 15:9
This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.?John 15:12
Lesson 2: Face to Face Prayer
In the second lesson, they were being taught the next building block: Face to face prayer. This building block gave them the right "glasses" to restore their vision to see God rightly!
I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; but now my eye sees You.?Job 42:5
Lesson 3: Kingdom Hearing
In the third lesson, they were being taught Kingdom Hearing. These ones needed the right "hearing aids" to hear His voice and become a company of hopeful Kingdom hearers. This was the golden key of knowing the true nature of God.
...Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools...?Ecclesiastes 5:1
Lesson 4: Marvelous Camaraderie
Then in the fourth lesson, they were being taught Marvelous Camaraderie. These ones needed the right "body armor" in place to provide the love, hope and appreciation needed to advance into their Kingdom callings.
And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; or again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." ?1 Corinthians 12:21
Conclusion: We are committed to going deeper into the hope lessons and hope processes that the Lord revealed in this classroom that takes someone from hopelessness to hope in the Kingdom of God, and we are committed to follow up with you regarding the lessons as applied to your setting!
