"I will thunder from Jerusalem...and I will ROAR from Zion!"
These are the words from the prophet Joel that motivated us here at Wilbur Ministries to take an anointed team of musicians from the U.S., and gather with worshipers from all across the Land of Israel during the Feast of Tabernacles, to capture our latest worship project entitled, "Roar From Zion!" |

The word roar in Hebrew from Joel 3:16 is the word 'sha-agh' (Strongs #7580), and it can be both a 'cry or shout of distress' as in Psalm 38:8, and...it can be a 'roar of victory' as the sound of an attacking lion! One day I was praying about this seemingly contradictory definition when I heard in my spirit..." When you cry out in despair, I roar over you in victory!" The Philistines heard that sound during the days of Samuel the Prophet, and the Bible tells us in 1 Sam. 7:13 that when they heard that thunderous sound, 'they troubled Israel no more.' |

Everyone seems to have their sense about a 'word' for this new year 5780 on the Hebrew calendar, but I believe we have been commissioned to carry a sound! The whole purpose for assembling worshipers in Jerusalem during the Feast of Tabernacles was to align ourselves with the worship of Heaven and provoke that sound from the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. That roar that would push back the forces of darkness that come to steal, kill and destroy, and to put the enemy on the defensive so that the Philistines that have been invading your land will be thrown into such confusion that they will never invade your territory again! |

"For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch." (Is.62:1)
