Introduction from Stacey Campbell
?A sound is being released in the nations of the earth. It is a CALL, a CRY, a VOICE from Heaven, drawing nations to humble themselves before God and ask for His presence to return and heal their lands (2 Chron. 7:14). In Indonesia on August 18th, in the largest Muslim nation on earth, a million believers will fill 5 stadiums for the sole purpose of answering this CALL. In the next few months in Kenya and Mozambique, orphans and national leaders will do the same. In France on August 30th, Europeans will kneel before God and CALL for mercy. On June 30th - right in the government buildings of Brasilia, the capital city of Brazil - believers fasted and prayed for the transformation of their nation. Nation after nation are hearing this CALL.
One of the nations that has consistently responded to the CALL to prayer and fasting for the past 15 years is my own nation of Canada. The fruit of this prayer is exemplified in the life of an incredible young leader ? Faytene Kryskow. Faytene is a nation-changer. Under her dynamic leadership, a generation is being raised up that is combining faith with action, and intercession with intervention.
While in a national prayer meeting several years ago, God gave Faytene a vision for rebuilding the righteous foundations of Canada. ?She subsequently wrote a book on this topic, distributed it to all of our political leaders, then began to meet with them face-to-face to express the desire of the next generation for righteousness to come back to our country. For several years now, Faytene and her teams have boldly approached political leaders, the media, and legal representatives and, in a spirit of honor, asked them to turn Canada back to its moral foundations. Rarely have I seen such wisdom in a person her age. I applaud her dedication, her intelligence, but mostly her incredible virtue. She is the real deal. She walks the talk and leans on God in such a mature way.?Her commitment to see change birthed from the place of prayer is her greatest strength. Wherever I travel, calling nations to prayer and solemn assemblies, I use Faytene as the standard to emulate.

INVITATION TO TheCall (TheCRY) CANADA, August 23rd, 2008
The nations of the earth are hearing the call of Joel 2. In this end-time hour a radical generation is being raised up by Holy Spirit with a revelation of the power of mass prayer and fasting. They are determined to bring nations to the feet of Jesus and this determination is spreading like a Holy infection.?
God IS on the move throughout the nations of the earth ? it has never been so obvious.
This August 23rd, only one week after Lou Engle launches out with TheCall DC, thousands will gather on the steps of the Canadian Parliament for TheCall Canada (also known as TheCRY). In John 1:23 John the Baptist declared his purpose saying, ?I am the voice of one CRYING in the desert, 'Make straight the way for the Lord.'" A generation is rising from the ashes of gross moral decay, family breakdown, immorality, perversion, abortion, the highest suicide rates in Canadian history and general cultural demise. They are rising with a fervent CRY. It is a CRY of raw and released passion declaring that, like John the Baptist in His day, ?We will lay down our lives in total abandon to prepare the way for Jesus.? No holding back. This is not just talk. This same tribe of believing radicals, along with other faithful forerunning movements in Canada (like Watchmen for the Nations and others), are seeing laws change as God pours out His response to their prayers. They have seen the age of sexual consent in Canada raised, legislation to shut down the evils of Crystal Meth is about to be passed, the first winnable pro-life legislation that has seen the light of day in decades is currently being debated and just weeks ago the Canadian government issued an official apology to the First Peoples of Canada for historic abuses. Curses are being broken off the land and pillars of moral filth and injustice are being shaken to the core. Now is not the time to relent. The wind of Heaven is backing up God?s praying Church.?

WHAT IS THE SPIRIT SAYING ABOUT CANADA, WHY FIGHT FOR HER?
"Many prophetic voices over the years (Smith Wigglesworth, Charles S. Price, Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho, Dr. David Demian, Rev. Alistair Petrie, Dr. Cindy Jacobs, Bob Jones, James Goll, Patricia King, Stacey Campbell and others) have consistently highlighted Canada?s strategic role in the end times. Let us highlight just a few of these to you here.
In 1776, when American leaders were about to invade Canada and chase down British Loyalists who had turned north to settle in Canada in order to remain under British rule, the Spirit of the Lord spoke through their prophets saying, "Do not hinder these people. Let them move to Canada. Do not seek to incorporate the land of Canada into America. I am in the independence of America from Britain, and will mightily use this country. But Canada has been reserved by Me for the last days for a special work.? Along with this, it is relayed by James Watt who was one of the leaders in Latter Rain Revival that in the 1920's that Smith Wigglesworth and Dr. Charles S. Price foretold of a significant revival that would happen in Northern Canada in the late 40's [this was fulfilled in the Latter Rain Revival]. They described it as a great wave of blessing that would bring great hope to the world. They went on to prophesy that after 50 years another wave would roll into and through Canada 10 times more the power and glory than the first. It would continue in blessing until the return of the King! Finally, in 1984 Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho when inquiring of the Lord regarding Canada heard Him say, ??that Canada would open the way for Jesus Christ to return to this earth?the Canadian church is going to rise up once again and go to the four corners of the world and bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to pave the way for His second coming." (Scribed from a message Dr. Cho spoke in Canada, during his 1984 trip).
As we look at Canada in 2008 we see she is currently positioned strategically to bring revival to the nations of the earth.
Canada has become a nation of nations with Toronto being the most international city in the world. The nation is also rich with resource and so much potential. Yet, demographics aside, the word of the Lord has the highest currency in creation and the word of the Lord is this: there is a key end-time destiny on this nation. Whether it be in issues of revival (Latter Rain, the Toronto Blessing or what is now happening in Lakeland through God?s hand upon a Canadian named Todd Bentley) or in issues of legislation (global peace initiatives, same sex marriage etc.) we see that God has put an anointing on Canada to be a ??lead domino nation?.? (James Goll, Spring 2006), whether for good or for evil. We must arise and contend, like never before, for this global gate. We must contend for Canada to come into all that God has ordained for her in this end-time hour and that the declared prophecies over her would not be hindered. Lastly, we believe the prophecy that Stacey Campbell released a few months back called "I See Sickles" is absolutely true. The nations that mobilize mass prayer and fasting will not just be given 5-inch sickles to reap the harvest with, but 5-mile ones. Souls are hanging in the balance. Nations are hanging in the balance. A road is being built for the coming of our King. We must not hold back. We must not relent. Too much is at stake not only for Canada but for His end time purpose.
Yes, God is sovereign but in His sovereignty He has chosen to use the hands, feet and prayers of His Bride to bring this all about.
