"Assume Your Positions!"

We are being trained to keep the promise in front of us. The Lord is establishing His purpose and building His kingdom on the earth. There are things the enemy has tried to throw our way so discouragement can settle in and rob us of our destiny. Paul exhorted Timothy (1 Timothy 1:18) to war a good warfare by the prophecies given to him:
 

"This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, Things all around us are moving rapidly, but it is important that we assume our post. It is time to stand and see the salvation of God."
 

Towels Thrown In

I saw a pile of towels heaped up. But I looked again and the Lord was picking up the towels and throwing them back to the ones who have wanted to quit. This is not the time to quit. It is the time to advance. God is positioning you for the plan and purpose He has for you. It is His strength, His wisdom, His authority, and His instruction to "GO." The very arenas that have been challenging us, are the areas God is going to give us more favor and anointing.


Have Faith in God

Several months ago, I had this dream about faith. I was on a platform and before me were two barrels. On one, the word "doubt" was printed. I reached down to pick it up, and it seemed weightless and empty. It was very easy to pick up in my own strength. I looked to the side of it, and there was another barrel with the word "faith" on it. I bent down to pick it up, and it wouldn't move. I asked God, in the dream, why I was not able to lift up the "faith" barrel. He responded by saying it was a "substance". Then He instructed me to use the measure of faith He had given me, and He would put His faith with it and try to lift it again. I bent down and this time the barrel went up over my head.

I knew, when I woke up, that faith is the key to everything we do in God.
In Mark 11:20-24, it says:

"Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, 'Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.' So Jesus answered and said to them, 'Have faith in God.  For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.'"

In other words, have the "God" kind of faith. Christ's strength is always made perfect in our weakness. We do our part in exercising our measure of faith, and God does the rest. As we continue to use our faith, we will grow in faith. Jesus is always looking for demonstrations of faith. Without it, we cannot please God. All through Scripture, we find Him blessing those who used their faith and sternly instructing those who displayed no faith at all -- many times, asking them where their faith is. God would not ask us to "GO" and then not display His power in the places He sends us. The harvest is RIPE.


Honor the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is present to impact the ones we are encountering as we go. These "Power encounters" radically change people's lives. When we give Him room to do what He wants -- He does. People are then impacted with the Spirit of Truth, the Healer, the Worker of Miracles, the Prophet, the Interpreter of Dreams, and so on. As we look into the lives of past evangelists, they used faith and honored the Holy Spirit. Signs, wonders and miracles were documented by their ministries. Katherine Kuhlman, Smith Wigglesworth, William Branham, Maria Woodworth-Etter, just to name a few, understood that honoring the Holy Spirit birthed the power that was demonstrated in their ministries. The testimonies are endless.


Those who know their God

As we assume our positions in this harvest, we are assured that the One who sends us out, will equip us to do the task.

Daniel 11:32:

"Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits."

God is revealing Himself to us as we co-labor with Him to reach into lives of desperate, searching, broken people everywhere. We are truly partakers of a Divine nature.

Let us take our strength in His strength and invade the earth for His Glory. Light dispels darkness. It's "Isaiah Sixty" time.

"Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.  'Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.

'Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. The multitude of camels shall cover your land, The dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; All those from Sheba shall come; They shall bring gold and incense, And they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, And I will glorify the house of My glory.'"
