To My Dear Loyal Readers of the ELIJAH LIST:
There is a most profound Word below in the form of a Scriptural PROMISE FROM GOD that is directed right to each of you! It has always amazed me.
Over the past few years, I have been given the most amazing promises of growth for the ELIJAH LIST. As an entity, THE ELIJAH LIST itself is an LLC (and therefore a For-Profit Entity). We also have a non-profit entity but what I am speaking of today is the for-profit ELIJAH LIST and therefore your gift would not be tax deductible.
We know this is a unique thing, because even in the Bible, Jesus has a treasurer and yet HE had to pay taxes on what he got. Remember the Coin in the fish’s mouth story?
We have made such a request before but I don’t believe it’s ever been quite in this “emergency” Category.
Always, during the trilogy of holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, we have experienced a sudden drop off in giving but it has never been quite an emergency in nature.
We are there! We need that COIN from the Fish--- today.
Having cut to the bone hundreds of thousands of dollars during the last few years, we have saved tons of money. Yet today, we, at the ELIJAH LIST are now faced with both the Holiday season and a very serious economic climate-right at most peoples’ shopping time. Yet we choose the faith to not forget God’s promises to us. He most often works through “human agents.” Perhaps you are one of those agents HE is tugging on.
I am asking you, personally to be one of those human agents. Let us be your shopping Super-store today! My gratitude will know no bounds and I am asking my manager to give me every name who donates. I plan to pray over each one. That is a promise!
Even if each person who reads this gave only $5 or $10, we would more than pay every debt owed. But alas, many are not able to do that because it’s a tough time economically -- but there are many who CAN.
Some can donate many thousands of dollars and not even miss the tax deduction. Yet others can donate just a dime—a widow’s mite, if you will. Jesus said the widow gave more than anyone.
Whatever you do, ask the Lord if THE ELIJAH LIST is an entity worth giving to and giving to us now. I have never liked hard core fund raising. It makes me uncomfortable, quite frankly.

As I sought the Lord today, I could see just a few of you who might be able to retire every debt we have. I could SEE it. And others will be highly rewarded for the one dollar gift, because that’s all you have.
Be sure to ask GOD what to give. I don’t want to receive anything except what you want to give and therefore what accrues to your account in Heaven as a reward (and on the earth now). Both are promised.
I know your gift will bless us, it will bless me, and mostly, it will bless the Lord.
Here is the most profound Scripture that has always amazed me. Paul talks about a reward in Heaven that accrues for those who give, EVEN WHEN HE DIDN’T NEED THE GIFT. Here it is:
Phil 4:14-19: Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the Gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account. I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. NIV
God promises to meet ALL YOUR NEEDS according to HIS RICHES in CHRIST JESUS!
