Purpose

God is preparing His Bride, the Body of Christ, for unprecedented wealth transfer. In order for that to happen, character, maturity and in many cases brokenness must be developed and evidenced in the lives of Christians so that we become stewards rather than owners of the resources God has entrusted to us, and that Mammon and Poverty have no hold on, place in, or power over us. God is calling the Church and its marketplace leaders?both corporately and individually?to arise from slumber and/or stupor and become more united, connected, networked, intentional and strategic in order to reclaim the seven societal mountains/cultural spheres, and to exercise authority and influence over their respective gates and gatekeepers. This process will require prayer, alignment, time, leadership, unity, integrity, holiness, strategy, courage, wisdom, favor and finances to effect lasting transformation. Kingdom financial models and infrastructure are required as part of the foundation. It is a set and appointed time in 2008 for the Church to hold its first Kingdom Economic Summit, just as the nations of the earth hold the World Economic Forum each year. Summits are governmental gatherings where leaders declare, decree, legislate, negotiate, set policy, plan the future, discuss issues, enter into agreements, and form alliances and coalitions, so this is not just another conference.

Specific Objectives of the Summit are to Cast the Vision for What God is Doing in the Marketplace to Release, Create & Transfer Wealth; Bring Together Marketplace Leaders to Share Current Initiatives, Networks and Working Models; Impart Wisdom for Wealth Building, Stewardship, Finance & Investment through Teaching, Case Studies and Practical Strategies; Shift the Church from Ownership to Stewardship; Break the Strangleholds of Mammon, Poverty and the Masonic off of the Church; and Call for a Response (Action) to Build Financial Infrastructure and Covenantal Relationships and Networks in the Kingdom to Share Resources and Best Practices and Accelerate and Multiply (Leverage) Fruitfulness for God.

Schedule

8:30 am to 10:00 pm each day. There will be 18 general/plenary sessions and 18 panel sessions over three days, or six each per day.
