This is what the Lord recently told Rosangela as He said:

"Take the plunge and your gift will make room for you!"

She then gives insight for what this could mean individually and how to take those practical steps ahead...in faith!

As you read the rest of Rosangela's word, know that you were made for greatness! God has made room for you and your calling...and it is time to raise your voice and be heard!

Give a Monthly Gift

Like many of you, I have been waiting on the Lord for clear directions regarding some things, but all I keep hearing is this: "Take the plunge and your gift will make room for you!" And all I keep seeing in the spirit is myself hesitantly jumping off a small boat into the ocean.

Take the plunge: to "commit yourself to a course of action about which you are nervous."

I am the type of person who likes to have all things planned out and organized before I set out to do something – especially at work! I like to write very detailed to-do lists, but walking in the Spirit through life often doesn't allow for that.

As I have been walking with the Lord, I've had to completely change my M.O. Walking in the Spirit means walking by faith, which often leaves no room for detailed lists or calculated steps and outcomes, or else it wouldn't require faith!

Yielded to Him

He gives us one set of instructions at a time. This is a theme all throughout the Bible. Once we obey and complete the first step (which is often extremely scary and hard to do), then comes the second set of instructions. His Word is enough! If He says, "Go and I will be with you," we need to completely trust Him to see us through. If we know Him – if we know Him well – there would be no room for doubt or fear in us, because God has shown Himself faithful and trustworthy time and time again!

Everything He has planned for us to accomplish is strictly related to our calling and our identity in Him. Only by walking out the path He has set before us will we then be able to become who we are meant to be. Life is one long and painful metamorphosis; the more we fight it, the more painful it becomes. And some of us don't even get to become butterflies; we live and die as caterpillars, never accomplishing our destiny! (Photo via Unsplash)

We need to yield to Him – to the work of the Holy Spirit – no matter how scary or hard. We shouldn't feel guilty or ashamed for being scared and unsure. Even Jesus struggled with these feelings while He was waiting to be crucified. His soul and body were in such distress that He sweat blood (Luke 22:44)! But He didn't resist or object to the Father's will, because He knew the Father loved Him and that what He was experiencing was His mission, His calling and His destiny. So He yielded to the Father, and He won!

Courage is not the absence of fear; it is doing things in spite of being scared!

If we want to know who we are meant to be in Him, and what our calling is, we need to have an intimate relationship with the Lord. That is the only way to know our identity and to move toward it. Without that internal compass, we will never be able to accomplish our mission, because we will lack direction, discernment and discipline. Once we have that understanding, then we will be able to blindly obey His instructions when we receive them.

Take the Plunge! Your Gifts Will Make Room for You

In the depths of our being, we all know what we are meant to do – what the next step is: TAKE THE PLUNGE! You don't have to make new friends before you sever that one-sided friendship. You don't have to wait to fall in love with someone else to leave that toxic relationship. You don't have to have all the funds to start working on your business plan. You don't have to have extra money to start tithing. You don't have to have all the chapters of your book planned out to start writing that book. You don't have to have the best equipment to start recording videos and podcasts. All you need is instructions and the "knowing" that this is what you're meant to do! JUST DO IT!

Once we jump, He will open doors that we cannot even fathom!

All I keep hearing is this:

"Take the plunge and your gift will make room for you and open doors that only I could open! No one will be able to stop the momentum that your obedience will create! No one will be able to stop the flow of living waters that will flow to and from your belly! Wherever your foot shall rest, there will be a blooming of life! No more barren places! The dead bones will come to life as your steps will be prophetic declarations upon the earth! The very ground you touch will come to life as you walk in your calling and destiny!

"My glory will be manifested through you as you accomplish all the works written in your book. And I will make you an example to those who have ridiculed you and your dreams – those who have overlooked you, under-appreciated you and judged you for believing in the impossible! But that's who I delight Myself in – those who take Me at My word; those who remind Me of My promises; those who call Me Abba. Because that is who I am – I am your loving Father.
