Jane Hamon: "Three Keys to Unlock the 'More'"

Jane Hamon
Jan 26, 2022

From the Desk of Steve Shultz:

Steve Shultz

This is an incredible word from Jane Hamon about keys to unlock many more things this year.

I'm always intrigued by the visions people have that we get to draw from...and believe me...this is one you will greatly draw from!

Jane shares about these keys:

I knew these were keys that the Ekklesia would need to unlock things for the new season: to unlock authority, unlock the heavens, the earth, resources, favor, etc. Each key had a specific purpose which we will discuss in just a moment. This means that certain things which have been locked up and inaccessible are being made accessible, when the Ekklesia rightly uses their keys. It means closed gates are being opened so the King of glory can come in.

Now find out what these keys are and how you can grab hold of them in your life. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

I had a vision of Jesus presenting me with a key ring with three keys on it: one gold, one silver and one bronze (or dark/ancient-looking). He said, "Use these to go unlock the 'more.'" As I waited, I heard Him say, "I want to unlock more IN you so I can unlock more FOR you, then unlock more THROUGH you!"

The Keeper of the Keys

Jesus gave us one of the most significant passages of Scripture regarding our Kingdom authority as the Ekklesia and the keys we would use to perform the duties of our office. In Matthew 16:18-19 He said, "...You are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church (Ekklesia), and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth will be loosed in Heaven."

Many messages have been preached on the keys of the Kingdom, however, I believe we need to understand the significance of keys in the eastern cultures to fully grasp this season. Once we grasp this, we will know how to use this ring of keys being presented to us.

Kingdom Reformation: Resistance That Leads to Victory

In Isaiah 22 (yes, this is significant for 2022), we find a story of reformation in the kingdom during the reign of Hezekiah, a righteous reformer who ruled Jerusalem. Hezekiah was a good king committed to reformation in his nation, turning the people back to God—to God's law and proper worship—after the wicked, idolatrous reign of his father Ahaz.

2 Kings 18:5 tells us, "Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him." He is an example to us of a righteous leader who was wholeheartedly committed to restoring the land to God but who faced the fight of his life, first by being undermined by political turmoil within his own kingdom, and then by being besieged by the Assyrians. In both instances God fought for Hezekiah and defended Jerusalem.

Hezekiah's name means "Jehovah is my strength"! His name comes from the Hebrew root word "chazak," which means: to seize hold of, to be courageous, to be strong, to cure, to heal, to mend, to be obstinate, to conquer, to fortify, to encourage, to prevail!

Lord, allow us to walk in the same strength, courage and commitment as Hezekiah, to rise above every challenge and to prevail in every battle! God is releasing strength and a stubborn persistence to His people to hold the line and not give up, no matter what we face. We must resist the resistance of the enemy in this season to see victory.

In these times of spiritual reformation of the Church, God is looking for leaders who are unafraid to take a stand, to contend and to turn nations back to God. Political turmoil and unrighteous agendas have tried to resist the revival, awakening and reformation God has intended for this time. We must rise up and resist this rising resistance.

Watch for both spiritual and political reformers to arise who will bring God back to the public square, back into the conversation and push back on those trying to push Him out. Persecution and hatred against Believers is going to increase (yes, even in America), so we must be strong in our stance for righteousness and true biblical justice in the days ahead. We must not get caught up in petty arguments, but bless those who curse us and do good to those who despitefully use us. We must stay focused on awakening and reformation. Nations are at stake.

Shebna Is Coming Down!

In Isaiah 22:15-19 Isaiah rebukes Shebna, the steward or treasurer (or the keeper of the keys) of King Hezekiah's house, who occupied one of the highest positions of authority in the land. He was using his office to promote himself, hiring chariots for his glory and building a rich sepulcher in a high place. He was the steward of the house, not the king; yet as the keeper of the keys he exercised supreme control over the palace, over access to the treasury and the throne room, and had complete authority over the affairs of the kingdom. (Photo via Piqsels)

Yet, God judged him to be unrighteous, full of pride and illegitimate as an official. He was undermining Hezekiah's vision for reformation. Hebraic scholars even surmise he was secretly in league with the Assyrians.

In several translations of Isaiah 22:17 he is called a "mighty man," but the Amplified Classic translates this as "strong man." I believe the spirit of Shebna is a spiritual strongman over nations, confident in his power and positioning, full of pride, undermining God's agenda of freedom, hope and life and ruling through fear and tyranny. This spirit (and those affected by it [under it]) is wielding power through the political and religious spirits by controlling the narrative through media, and by shutting down contrary voices.

The battle is over nations and generations and will be marked by four battlegrounds currently controlled by Shebna:

1. Who is being worshiped (central focus of the land)?

2. Who controls the supply lines (finances, resources)?

3. Who is setting policy (political power)?

4. Who controls the narrative (media)?

Hezekiah was a righteous ruler yet the one representing him was not. God declared through Isaiah, enough is enough! He was then stripped of his royal robes, his keys were taken from him and all his authority and responsibility was given to another named Eliakim. Eliakim means "one whom God will raise up" or "set up." His father was Hilkiah, which means "my portion is Jehovah." Lord, be our portion in this day!

As much as we are praying and contending for revival and awakening, we must also pray and decree God's Kingdom reformation so that revival may be sustained. While God is prophesying against the spiritual strongman of Shebna over nations, He is also preparing to strip away authority from those with ungodly agendas, full of pride and self, who are positioned both naturally and governmentally, as well as those misusing spiritual positions of authority to merely promote self. The day has come in which God will deal with 'Shebna' leaders, unseating them from their places of authority and giving positions instead to the ones He is raising and setting up to be the keepers of the keys.

'Eliakims' Are Arising!

It's a day of a power shift in the earth. Pray for your leaders. However, understand that some leaders will be removed. Nations will be shifted by the changing of the guard. We are at a tipping-point moment in the earth. Begin to pray now for the 'Eliakims' to arise who will rule righteously and justly. Realize you can become a 'Shebna' if you allow pride and self to rule you. Now is the time to examine your heart, but also realize that you can become God's Eliakim in your sphere of influence to bring Kingdom transformation and authority. God is looking for those whom He will promote and increase in authority and responsibility, and those whose voices will be unlocked for reformation.

In Isaiah 22:22 God says of Eliakim, "The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; so he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open." God is putting the keys of the Kingdom and the key of David upon the shoulder of His Ekklesia, to open and shut; to exercise authority; to shut some things up and shut some things down. God is giving us unrestricted power and unlimited access to both His throne of grace as well as to His treasury, for all we will need to advance the Kingdom.

Just as Eliakim was raised up to hold the key of the house of David (which was not just a key to a palace, but to a nation), so too are the Eliakims being raised up by God to hold the keys to cities and nations and to unseat principalities and powers, both natural and spiritual. Scales are coming off the eyes of Believers to see their spiritual walk differently. It's not just about salvation or blessing but about the governmental responsibility in the Kingdom to affect and change our world.

It is imperative that the Church shifts from 'second reformation' thinking (which was all about personal discipleship, the priesthood of the Believer and restoration of the doctrines of Christ) to 'third reformation' thinking in which we embrace our calling as the Ekklesia, as spiritual legislators and rulers who can forbid or allow what goes on in our world.

A similar passage to Isaiah 22:22 is seen in Revelation 3:7-8 and 10-11 when God is addressing the church in Philadelphia:

"...'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens. I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name... Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown."'" (Photo via Piqsels)

I believe we are living in one of those hours of trial that has come upon the whole world. In the midst of this testing season, don't allow anyone or any circumstance to take your crown or to take your key! Stay focused! Stay humble! Stay pure!

Clearly Jesus holds this key, as well as the keys to death and Hell. Isaiah 9:6 says of Jesus, the Messiah, that the government shall be upon His shoulder. Keys of authority were worn on the shoulder in ancient times so that anyone who looked knew where the power rested and recognized rank. Keys were often presented to kings or queens as part of the coronation ceremony.

A Small Key Can Open Great Doors!

As I have prayed about these keys and what they may represent, I am reminded that a small key can open great doors. We must have great expectations and great anticipation for all God desires to open to us in this season. Jesus holds the keys, but He is also placing them in our hands! The following is what I sense the Spirit saying to His Ekklesia for this important season of time:

The Gold Key

As I prayed about the gold key in my vision, I felt it represented a key of favor, which I believe is a master key that opens many things. In the New Testament the words "favor" and "grace" are both translations from the same Greek word "charis," though in English the words have different meanings. This will be a time of amazing grace that will unlock supernatural favor. We can boldly come before God's throne of grace (favor) to obtain mercy and help in our time of need.

This favor key unlocks the depths of the riches of His grace on a whole new level of understanding, empowering us to live in a place of supernatural access to things in Heaven and on Earth. Just as Eliakim was given a key that represented supreme governmental authority, so God is placing the key of Kingdom government upon the shoulders of those who understand favor brings the blessings of the Lord, but also responsibility in the Kingdom. To whom much is given, much will be required.

Doors of favor are being opened this year, increasing influence in the realms of government, business and media. This key of favor will unlock the voice of Eliakims to bring a shift over cities, regions and nations. A new, double-portion mantle will be released that will activate the favor like that which was on Joseph, Daniel and Esther, men and women who shifted nations and released destiny for generations to come.

The Silver Key

The symbol of silver in Scripture is tied to purity. Psalm 12:6 declares, "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." God has been putting the words of the prophets through the fire so that they come forth without human agenda or opinion. Psalm 66:10 (TPT) says, "O Lord, we have passed through Your fire; like precious metal made pure, You've proved us, perfected us, and made us holy."

God has not been afraid to turn up the heat to ensure that we can handle the responsibility of a greater prophetic mantle, a double portion mantle, for this time. Just as silver is tried by fire seven times, and the end result is that the reflection of the master can be seen in silver which has been purified, so too, I believe, will the prophetic movement, and those who have been through trying times, produce greater accuracy, greater insight and greater power by the words spoken. There will be a double portion (double Peh) anointing on God's prophets and prophetic people in this time, as God restores His perfected voice to His Ekklesia.

We are also to use our silver key to open the treasure of wisdom, understanding and discernment like we would seek silver.

Proverbs 2:1-10 (TPT):

"My child, will you treasure my wisdom? Then, and only then, will you acquire it. And only if you accept my advice and hide it within will you succeed. So train your heart to listen when I speak and open your spirit wide to expand your discernment—then pass it on to your sons and daughters. Yes, cry out for comprehension and intercede for insight. For if you keep seeking it like a man would seek for sterling silver, searching in hidden places for cherished treasure, then you will discover the fear of the Lord and find the true knowledge of God.

"Wisdom is a gift from a generous God, and every word He speaks is full of revelation and becomes a fountain of understanding within you. For the Lord has a hidden storehouse of wisdom made accessible to His godly ones. He becomes your personal bodyguard as you follow His ways, protecting and guarding you as you choose what is right. Then you will discover all that is just, proper, and fair, and be empowered to make the right decisions as you walk into your destiny. When wisdom wins your heart and revelation breaks in, true pleasure enters your soul."

I heard the Lord say that this silver key of purity and wisdom would bring "solutions for resolutions." The word "resolution" is often used at the beginning of the year, as in "New Year's resolutions"—those things we are determined to change in a new year. It means: the act of finding an answer or solution to a conflict, problem, etc.; to resolve something, to deal with something successfully; to make a serious decision to do something; to formally declare or decide something by a vote, the ability of a device to show an image clearly and with a lot of detail.

God is going to give us divine insight, prophetic strategies and solutions that will bring resolution to some long-standing issues.

Some of these solutions will be things such as medical advancements that bring cures to things like certain types of cancer, blood disorders, muscular and neurological diseases, as well as the plague of COVID in the earth. Begin to pray now that these medical advancements will not be thwarted by corrupt pharmaceutical companies or governments seeking to prolong control. I see scientists who already have many lifesaving protocols for disease, but who are not being allowed to advance because of power and financial structures holding them back. We speak release to these solutions this year, in Jesus' name.

Some solutions will bring resolution to areas of corruption in governments, policies and laws. Some seemingly settled laws, judgments and rulings will be overturned for more righteous resolutions, but understand that this will cause more chaos than peace in the short term. Be prepared for some unrest as crooked places are being resolved to be made straight. Shebnas are coming down, but pray for wisdom, insight and discernment for how the Ekklesia is to position itself in the midst of chaos.

The Ancient Key

The final key I received was a darker key which looked either bronze or black. It looked ancient. It looked like a key that would open an old, buried treasure. In Isaiah 45:3 (AMPC) God says, "And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name."

In my book, The Cyrus Decree, I write about this passage which has some interesting insight for the days we are living in. The phrase "treasures of darkness" (in Hebrew) refers to the practice in ancient Babylon of capturing their enemies' wealth and weapons and hiding them in underground vaults. It refers to a storehouse or cellar where an armory of weapons and a treasure room of wealth are kept. The hidden riches speak of hidden, buried treasure.

In this season God is uncovering and unlocking wealth, resources, finances and opportunity, but also releasing a new cache of weapons to be utilized in this time of intensified spiritual warfare. Our words will be both a key and a weapon. Our walk, how we take action and live, will be both a key and a weapon, and our worship will be weaponized to see great victories in this season. Warfare will be key to advancement.

One final key scripture for this season is 2 Chronicles 20:22 (yes, another reference to this year). In the midst of being surrounded by great enemies God brought great victory. The people fasted and prayed. The prophet prophesied. They all showed up on the battlefield. The praisers brought the breakthrough!

2 Chronicles 20:2: "Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated."

After this great defeat, Judah went into the Valley of Beracah (or the "Valley of Blessings") and gathered up the spoils. The spoils will be much more than money in this season. It will be souls saved, families restored, healings, miracles, signs and wonders, cities shifted, nations changed and on and on as God's Kingdom prevails. Be prepared that it will continue to get darker and more chaotic in the world, but this will be the Ekklesia's finest hour!

A Decree to Receive Our Keys!

Today I receive the keys of the Kingdom from the hand of the Lord so that I can unlock the more this year. I will use them to function in my role as a member of the Ekklesia, to bring God's Kingdom purposes to pass in the earth. I receive authority and governmental anointing to rule and reign in my sphere of influence.

I receive the gold key of favor and expect to see many new doors of opportunity open to me. I receive the silver key of purity, wisdom and revelation. I will hear Your voice in new ways this year and will find solutions for resolutions to many long-standing issues, for myself, for others and for my land. I receive the ancient key for unlocking an abundance of wealth and new weapons to prevail in times of battle. My small keys will open big doors! God will unlock more IN me so He can unlock more FOR me, and then unlock more THROUGH me.

In all things, Jesus, You are the key to my heart.
