Jamie Tuttle: "It's Time for a Praise Break"

From the Desk of Steve Shultz:

Steve Shultz

In this season of celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, I really appreciated this word from Jamie Tuttle.

EVERY DAY is a good day to praise the Lord...and there's something very special about it during this season too.

I felt like I was going to church as Jamie said:

It's time for a praise break right now. It's time for you to take 30 seconds, 1 minute, 10 minutes, or 2 hours to stand up and praise God, because something is shaking and quaking in your life. I saw it in the spirit; the Lord showed me that something is turning around for your good right now.

I'll leave it at that...Be ready to GET YOUR PRAISE ON as you read this word. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Enjoy!

"Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated." (2 Chronicles 20:22)

Are you fighting a battle today and standing in need of a miracle? If so, then the Lord wanted me to announce to you today that: it's time for a praise break!

A "praise break" means you're ready to praise the Lord.

Your praise is one of the weapons of your warfare, and you're fighting a battle. You need to use all your weapons, but the Lord told me specifically to tell you that it's time for you to get out the weapon of PRAISE.

I will say it again: It's time for a praise break!

It's time for a praise break right now. It's time for you to take 30 seconds, 1 minute, 10 minutes, or 2 hours to stand up and praise God, because something is shaking and quaking in your life. I saw it in the spirit; the Lord showed me that something is turning around for your good right now.

What would you do if you had already gotten the breakthrough you've been desiring? What would you say if that opportunity you've been craving had already been opened to you? Would you be excited? Would you be ecstatic? What would you do if God had already moved in your life like you've wanted Him to?

I believe I know what you would do: You'd give the Lord a standing ovation. You'd give Him a clap offering. You'd act like you're Pentecostal on purpose. You'd give Him a crazy, upside-down, one-side-to-the-other, out-of-your-mind-with-joy kind of praise. You'd praise Him like you knew you'd been baptized by the powerful Holy Ghost!

Well, you know what? You don't have to wait. You can praise Him like that right now; and, if you do, it will help push your breakthrough into manifestation.

Something's Cooking on God's Stove

The Lord told me to tell you that there's a reason why you need to go ahead and praise; a reason you need to take the time for a praise break. Why? Because if He came through for you before; He can do it again. Not only that, but if He did it before, He's going to do it again.

I see in the spirit that something's on the burner; something's cooking on God's stove; something's boiling in the Holy Ghost; something's almost cooked; something's almost done! It's almost time for the Lord to reveal it too. That's why my assignment is to tell you today that the Lord has been working on your behalf, and it's time for a praise break!

It's time for you to move out of your comfort with your praise. It's time for you to get into the unusual. Get ready!

Your Weapon of Warfare

It doesn't matter who you are or where you are in life. Your praise is still your weapon! If you're a baby Christian, your praise is your weapon. If you've been saved 100 years, your praise is your weapon. Even if you usually sit in the back of the church; if you struggle with some things; if you don't feel very spiritual right now...this word is still for you. Your praise is your weapon, and it's time for a praise break!

Are you just crazy enough to believe the Lord, no matter what things look like? Are you crazy enough to believe that the Lord God is moving for you? What do you believe? Do you believe His word? Do you believe that He is coming through for you right now? If so, you've got to praise Him! (Photo via Flickr)

You can 'praise break' without music. You can praise the Lord without being in a church. You can take a praise break in your house, in your car, or at your office. You can stop and praise the Lord and get totally delivered in the grocery store.

A New Level of Praise

Let me challenge you some more:

What if I told you that your breakthrough had already happened? What would your praise look like? If I told you that you're going to get a phone call saying that the Lord just brought your child home; the Lord just paid off all of your debts; the Lord just got you hired into that new job after you've been unemployed for a year—what would your praise look like? If I told you that you have been delivered, what kind of praise would you offer to the Lord? If I announced to you that the battle is over, what would you do?

It's time for you to stop feeling comfortable with your current level of praise. It's time to offer to the Lord a sacrifice of praise that costs you something. That might mean you need to take off running around a building like you've lost your mind. It could mean you offering up to the Lord a dance that your feet have never danced before. It could even mean you giving a new thank offering to the Lord, thanking Him like you've never thanked Him before. What would 'new level praise' mean for you?

Today I urge you to shout: "Hallelujah!"

Are You an "Intercessory Praiser"?

There may be some people around you who think they don't need a breakthrough, so they're not praising. That's okay; you go ahead and dance and shout for them. YOU raise your "hallelujah" to the Lord. Go ahead, dance and praise God like you're crazy—even if the people around you aren't. Go ahead and praise God for His faithfulness; your life will be a witness to somebody else! Maybe the person next to you will even start praising God themselves. We all need to do this. Everybody needs a breakthrough and a miracle of divine intervention in their life!

God is even calling some "intercessory praisers." Are you one of them? Can you rejoice as an intercessor for somebody else? Can you look at somebody else and say, "I know you need a breakthrough in your life, and I'm believing God to bring it to you." Then, can you shout on their behalf, even if they're not shouting yet? Can you rejoice for them? Can you praise God with an 'it's already done' kind of praise—even if the person you're interceding for doesn't have the faith to stand up and believe God for themselves yet?

Come on and shout unto God with a voice of triumph! Do it right now.

What Would You Do?

You don't know what the praise you're lifting up to the Lord right now just broke into. You don't know what just happened in the atmosphere. You don't know what just happened in the heavens. Shout unto God! You don't know what is happening in your life as you shout!

Again, I ask: What would you do if I told you that it's your next hallelujah that's going to usher in your breakthrough; if I told you it's your next "yes, Lord" that's going to release your miracle; if I told you it's your next confession of "praise God from whom all blessings flow!" that wins the warfare in the spirit realm over your answer to prayer? What would you do if you knew your miracles, your signs, and your wonders were about to be released on the earth?

The High Praise of God

You need to know that God destroys your enemies by your praise. Your praise is your weapon that God uses; He is fighting your battle right now. That's why the Bible says that we should let the HIGH PRAISE of God be in our mouths, and the two-edged sword in our hands (Psalm 149:6). Every praise you offer gets the attention of the Holy Ghost. When He hears your praise, God says, "Because you offered that praise, I can rise up and fight this battle!" He answers the faith of your praise with a mighty move on your behalf. (Photo via Pixnio)

Like Medicine for Your Situation

Is there anything in your life right now that you need to put some praise on?

Think of praise as the medicine for your situation. What situation in your life do you need to anoint with your praise right now? And I do mean your crazy praise too. I'm not talking about offering praise just because He already did something that you already saw. I'm talking about praise that you offer because He's about to do something!

2 Corinthians 2:14 says, "Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place." If you need something to happen; if you're battling something; if you're up against something, take that verse to heart. Give thanks and praise to God because He always leads you to triumph in Christ, even if you haven't yet seen His triumph in this particular situation. He is worthy!

It's Time to Check Your Praise Account

Brothers and sisters, it's time to check your praise account.

Have you offered enough praise to God to show Him that you really believe Him, and that you really believe His word for your life? Remember what happened when God defeated the enemies of Israel who came against King Jehoshaphat. Look how God got victory using the praise of His people:

"So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, 'Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.' And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: 'Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.'

"Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated." (2 Chronicles 20:20-22)

God defeated His enemies that day because His people turned to Him, believed Him, and praised Him, even when they had yet to see the victory in the natural. But they DID see the victory in the spirit. Victory was prophesied to them, and they praised God for it and won the day. The enemy fled and was completely defeated.

God is fighting your enemies right now using your praise. The Spirit of the Lord says to you: "It's time for a praise break!" Will you stop right now and give Him crazy praise? Whether you're praising Him for yourself or for someone else, breakthrough and miracles will fly in on the wings of your praise.
