"God is Welcoming You to the VIP Section"

I had one of the most powerful dreams of my life last year, and I've held onto it pondering it often. The Lord has been speaking to me about this dream more recently and I believe it is for many in the Body of Christ as God is restoring all that you "think" was lost. Also, I pray that as you read this dream and revelation, the Lord would reveal something personal to you, and He would anoint and mantle you in a new, increased identity and calling in Him. It's a time to walk out the big dreams God has placed in your heart.

The World Premiere Event at the Movie Theater

In my dream, I was walking into a movie theater. I knew that this was an exclusive place to be, as it was a premiere event and special occasion. When I arrived, I realized I was one of the first people in line and was walking toward the auditorium to get in. Suddenly, my mom came in. Considering she walks slow and uses a wheelchair when she's tired, I knew I needed to slow down and help her. By the time we did get into the movie theater, we were in a super long line and toward the end of the line, waiting to get in.

On top of that, while we were waiting in this long line, I discovered that my ID (my identity) and two credit cards were stolen! I was really upset and didn't want to wait in this long line anymore, especially since I had been stolen from. I decided not to wait in the long line to get in and headed towards the exit doors to leave. I walked along discouraged, as I was really looking forward to the special premiere and event, but at this point, I just wanted to leave.

As we arrived at the front where most people were entering the theater, I headed towards the exit signs. I was just about to exit the theater when I looked to the left and saw a woman I knew. This woman was known for being in charge of finances and approving credit. She was the financial manager of the place. I just wanted to say "hello" to her before we left. I told her I was leaving and that my ID and two credit cards were stolen while waiting in the long line to get into the premiere. I explained to her that when I arrived, I was headed toward the front of the line, but there were so many people who came in and bypassed me and my mom while I was helping her. I shared with this woman that I was discouraged after what took place—long line, being stolen from, and I was leaving now because of it!

That was when this woman, the financial manager, handed me two blue passes that said "VIP" on them and she said: "These are for you guys. By the way, I have canceled your credit cards, so nobody can use them and I ordered a new ID for you."

I was stunned and overwhelmed! She then showed me and my mom the way to the VIP section at this world premiere. As I was walking with my mom in her wheelchair, there were people dressed up in formal uniforms, who looked like bell boys, and they opened many doors for us along the way to get to the VIP section. When we arrived, I found it to be an exclusive place with just a small group of people. I noticed there was gourmet food and realized that it was the best spot in the theater to watch the world premiere movie.

When we arrived in the VIP section, the movie premiere was about to start. At that moment, it dawned on me: We didn't miss a thing and we arrived right on time! – End of dream. (Photo via Wikepedia)

I believe there is so much interpretation available to this dream and here are some highlights the Lord is speaking:

The Last Shall Be First

Matthew 19:30,"But many who push themselves to be first will find themselves last. And those who are willing to be last will find themselves to be first."

You've been obedient in serving and honoring others unto the Lord, putting other people's needs before your own. For those who've felt last in line and behind, God is welcoming you to the VIP section. When you arrive there, you'll quickly find out that you didn't miss out on anything and will arrive right on time!

Double Honor is Yours

A brief family background: In the Asian culture, honoring and taking care of your parents and the elderly in your family is a big deal. It means everything and is foundational in the Asian culture.

Some have heard my family story from Thailand—how I was born there, and God wanted to return me to my Asian roots of honor in taking care of my mom. The Lord told me that Deuteronomy 5:16 is written over my life: "Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you." While honoring and taking care of my mom, I've heard from well-meaning others that I am wasting my years taking care of my mom and need to get on with my life and ministry.

After this VIP dream, God also reminded me of what I declared to Him while previously in Pattaya, Thailand, the sex-capital industry of the world. Women and children in the streets are waiting to be sold. The darkness I saw there was so horrific that I could hardly stand. As I stood there seeing all that was happening in Thailand, without even giving it a second thought, this declaration came out of me: "Lord, I will give up every promise You have for me if you will set Thailand free!"

When I said this, I meant it with everything in me and still do today. But God's response after I made this declaration astonished me and was unexpected. As that declaration left my mouth, He immediately said: "Not only will I give you every promise, I will double it!"

As you have been honoring the Lord and your family, obeying Him instead of moving ahead and listening to the voices of others, He is going to give you double honor and double in your promises and dreams.

He Will Restore What Was Lost

Remember my ID (my identity) and two credit cards that were stolen? God is not only taking you to the VIP section when you thought you would leave in discouragement and quit, but He is sending the right people in charge including finances—to restore what was lost!

As I pondered this dream for me personally the Lord said, "This is how Thailand feels...they feel last, stolen from and want to quit. That's about to change! I will restore what was stolen and send the right people for restoration!"

There are people groups and nations who don't know their true identity in Christ yet. Knowing our identity is of the uttermost importance because as you walk in it, you'll help others do the same. This is why the enemy tries so hard to steal identity from us.

Here are some vital points about identity the Lord revealed to me personally over Thailand:

• Identity brings breakthrough and cuts off bondage.

• When we know our own identity, we will help others discover theirs.

• When you discover you're identity, you can become it.

Your Dreams Are Coming to the Big Screen

I also believe God was showing me that in a movie theater your dreams become reality as they are played on the big screen at His world premiere. God is calling us to think much bigger, bolder "above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us."

What dreams has God given to you? It is time for your dreams to be lived out, especially in the nations! Don't let the enemy discourage you from exiting and walking away from your God-given dreams. Remember this phrase, often quoted by many: "If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough." Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (first elected female head of state in Africa).

Very Influential People

VIP means "a very important person"; a person who is treated better than ordinary people because they are "influential". A very important person has a lot of influence where they are called. Did you catch that in the definition? VIP also means "very 'influential' people"!

I hope this encourages, inspires and challenges you to have a bold influence where God is calling you to, as His very influential people. Friends, nations are waiting for you to become God's VIPs—His very INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE! (Note: photo of a blue VIP pass we were given to enter an event months after my VIP dream. God Saved the Best for Last

If you feel like you've missed out, had your identity and finances stolen, experienced missed opportunities of surplus and prosperity, let me remind you of Jesus' first miracle and the wedding at Cana in John 2:10: "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."

My friends, God saved the best for last! For those who've felt last in line and behind, you'll quickly find out that not only is He welcoming you to the VIP section, you didn't miss out on anything but will arrive just in time!

As God welcomes you to His VIP section, there is a lost and hurting world waiting for you to help them discover their own identity and VIP status as well.
