"Five Visions for 2019" and "The Year of the Nine"

Rebooting to Greater Spiritual Clarity

It is time to REBOOT, which is to shut down and start again. A reboot doesn't necessarily erase memory, but is a one-step solution in dealing with various issues. And, if we spiritualize this concept, it affords an opportunity for a new beginning. Things from the past that caused trauma need to be filed away in the archives of memory so that this fresh start is uncluttered from past events. The substance of God's healing virtue is available to make this possible.

The veil of the flesh must be torn or removed in order for there to be greater spiritual clarity. We need to get past carnal perspectives to see what the Lord is showing us. Then there will be an elevation to new heights, as well as a deeper place in the Spirit. A more elaborate spectrum of Spirit living will be available to us—higher, deeper, wider; up, down, left and right—that will remove previous boundaries and barriers. There will be a greater sense of purpose as our hearts become one with God's heart.

Isaiah 54:2-3, "Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left..."

Watch for Contrast

Watch for contrast—the state of being strikingly different from something else. The contrast will become more drastic (deeper darkness and greater light) as the chasm continues to widen, creating greater separation and division. We will each have to be vigilant so that we can make good decisions and choose the best thing.

1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."

I heard the Lord say: "Maximize the positive effect on those around you. Minimize the negative effect. Do not waste time on self-pity. Make the most of your time with Me and with others, and do not squander opportunities to make a difference." (Photo via Unsplash)

Five Visions Concerning for 2019

I am going to share five visions that I think are profound concerning the new year.

Vision 1: I saw a vast number of people sorting through garbage at a dump site. I was reminded of a vision I had some time ago... of following a path around a huge garbage dump that finally led to a lake and then up a steep mountain. In that vision the garbage dump was symbolic of politics, and mostly had to do with garbage from the polarized media. So I knew that in this current dream, the people sorting through the garbage were those who have gotten stuck or who have become addicted to political rhetoric in an effort to find the truth.

For those who finally skirted this mess, there was a lake of deep spiritual truth and refreshment. It was also a place of divine revelation and extensive, meaningful, internal work. I believe those who have been able to get around the garbage and have done the deep dive into the lake, will now be able to begin their ascent to the heights where they can know God more personally and intimately.

Vision 2: I saw a swimmer with an oxygen tank, fins and a wetsuit. He was swimming in a deep underwater cave system. The beauty of the caves was evident in his headlamp as he moved through tunnels into great expanses that were teeming with life. I soon realized that this was a type and symbol of deep, spiritual exploration and inspiration.

Psalms 95:4, "In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also."

Vision 3: I saw a window through which I could see another window and another and another; each with increasing clarity of the view beyond. There was a refining process that produced a spiritual awareness and purity of life.

Zechariah 13:9, "I will bring the one-third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people'; and each one will say, 'The Lord is my God.'"

Vision 4: For those who are called as warriors to fight against the enemy, I had a vision of warships in the clouds that looked like the waves of the sea. This to me was a symbol of waging war on a higher level of effectiveness. I believe this includes understanding the range of weapons that we have access to.

In an unusual spiritual encounter, I could hear the battle raging between God and evil. It was about the choices we make and the results that are so vastly different from one another. I couldn't help but wonder why anyone would choose darkness over light or evil over good. We either pay the price by living in darkness, or reap the reward of living with and for God.

Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Vision 5: I saw three things that mean the same thing: a bonfire, a lighthouse, and an airport beacon. We are that light, whether on land or on the sea or in the air, to show the way to a place of safety in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Psalms 27:5, "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock."

Small Straws

God says, "When you feel weak, know that I am with you. I am your enabler. There will be times when you feel down and out, but I will lift you up and strengthen your body, soul and spirit," says the Lord. "Lean on Me."

2 Corinthians 12:9, "And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.'..."

The Lord says, "If you will rise up in Spirit and seek My face, I will show you things that are beyond anything you could have imagined. I will bring revelation and answer your deepest questions. I will empower you to do what few have done and deepen your spiritual understanding in ways that will astound you.

"Your obedience and dedication to do all that I ask will be rewarded. You are indeed a light in darkness. Let your light shine brightly!"

Romans 2:18-19, "...and [you] know His will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law (Word), and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness..." (emphasis mine).

Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven."

The Year of Divine Completeness

We are in the third millennium, in the second decade, and the ninth year. Nineteen is the sum of 10 and 9 and denotes the perfection of "Divine Order" connected with judgment, opinions, decisions, and justice. Nine will bring a conclusion to another decade or "Divine Completeness."

Establish Faith and Increased Vision and Blessing

2019 will be a year of increased vision. Our spiritual light will increase this year, which will increase our ability to see! Ephesians 5:13 (Amplified), "But when anything is exposed and reproved by the light, it is made visible and clear: and where everything is visible and clear there is light."

The bottom line: If we desire to allow God to lead and guide us, then His light upon us will increase and enable us to see into the spirit world. Our vision will increase.

Acts 9:10, "Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, 'Ananias.' And he said, 'Here I am, Lord.'"

Damascus means: "Silent is the sackcloth weaver."
Ananias means: "Whom God has graciously given."
Vision means: "A sight divinely granted."

How to Position Yourself for More Vision

Spiritual positioning will be necessary if vision is to come to us. Here is how we can position ourselves:

1. Believe that your spiritual vision will increase. Because it is time!

2. Don't get into sin. 1 John 5:18, "We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him."

3. Walk with God. 1 John 1:7, "But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin."

If we do these three things we will be spiritually positioned to receive increased vision!

The Year of the "Nine"

The nine in 2019 declares that this will be a year of fullness for God's people. And the operation of the 9 spiritual gifts and fruit will increase this year.

Nine gifts: 1 Corinthians 12:4-10, "There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues."

Nine manifestations of the fruit: Galatians 5:22-25, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."

So, 2019 will be a year when we can become more Christ-like. It will be a year when we can grow spiritually if we desire to.

Our part is to believe God and His Word and to resist the devil. James 4:7-8, "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

A Year of Unexpected Blessings

Unexpected blessings will come to you in this year if you are serving the Lord. Proverbs 10:6, "Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked."

Jesus on the blessings:

Luke 6:20-23, "Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said: 'Blessed are you poor, For yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, For you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, For you shall laugh. Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man's sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven, For in like manner their fathers did to the prophets.'" (Photo via Unsplash)

Deuteronomy 28:1-8, "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:

"Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you."

Establish Yourself in Faith

Romans 10:17, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

Faith will enable you to resist Satan. 1 Peter 5:9, "Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world."

Guard your heart with all diligence. Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life."

Small Straws

"Protect the things that are precious in your life. Put up a shield against that which the enemy would try to tear down and destroy. Secure your sense of right and wrong, your moral values. This is a time to delineate between the precious and the vile and to defend righteousness. Above all guard your heart with all diligence," says the Lord.

The Trumpet

The Lord says, "Rise up now and establish yourself in faith. Do this because the Scriptures tell you how to receive from Me!"

Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Hebrews 11:6, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

The Lord says, "I will most certainly reward your efforts to establish yourself in faith. Forget the past and move into this new season in and by faith!"

The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:13-14, "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
