Jennifer Martin: "This Year - Let's Give Him High Praise"

I dreamed on 12-12-2018 that I was worshiping at a meeting (12 is apostolic and represents government). I was standing with many Believers up front and there was a worship team playing slow music. It was good, but I could feel there was something more waiting for us. My spirit began to stir. I wanted to release praises to my God. I wanted to shout. I wanted to sing!

"The Underground Shepherd"

Just then, I noticed that Jerry Bryant was standing directly in front of me. He was a pastor who was known as the "Underground Shepherd," and who shepherded the Father's blessing in Nashville after visiting Toronto in the 1990s. The outpouring of the Father's blessing had so much glory, miracles, and new sounds, especially the sound of high praise. I believe Jerry represents this: the Father, a movement, a sound—a praise.

Jerry was facing forward toward the stage and I reached my hands out to rest them on his shoulders (this is symbolic). I placed one hand on each shoulder. I seemed to be standing up higher somehow, as if I was on a stair step. Placing my hands on his shoulders seemed to release the sound I was feeling.

Just to note: Jerry had been a wonderful support and spiritual father to me and my husband, Munday Martin, so I know that this dream is two-fold. Because of his support, I will be able to release what is in my spirit. I'm resting on His shoulders. I'm resting on His Government. I'm resting on the Government of Jesus. "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the Government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).

A New Song

Suddenly, a new song arose from my belly. I could feel it moving through me. Then out it came, louder than the sound in the room. Everyone could hear it:

"The Lord, Most High! The Lord above the heavens! The Lord, Most High! The Lord above the earth!"

I sang it over and over, full of high praise, joyful sounds and celebration.

"I know who my King is, I really know! He is above everything. I feel His majesty. I recognize His authority and power. I recognize His Government!"

I was singing from this place. The whole room listened.

Then, they caught it, like a wind. The worship team joined along with me as soon as they heard the words and the melody. They picked it right up, not missing a beat. The piano keys were dancing in delight. The sound became unanimous and high praises rose to the King of kings. The atmosphere in the place had exploded. Everyone could feel it. It was as if we had to proclaim: "YOU ARE KING! YOU REIGN!"

It was electric. Freedom and dancing filled the floor. Joy beamed on faces as we celebrated the good news that Jesus is King of all, He reigns supreme over the universe, and He has ultimate authority!

"Of the increase of His Government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His Kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this." (Isaiah 9:7)

We were getting it. He is truly above every other name. Suddenly our troubles all drifted away as we jumped and twirled, because the revelation of the King had come. It was the best party I've ever seen!

Then, because of tradition's strong hand, people began to go back to their seats. I mean, this is a meeting, right? We have stuff to do, and things to say. Our minds tell us that we must go on with the business at hand. It's time to do the next thing. I saw everyone leave the dance floor. The worship team went back into their traditional set. I was thinking, "No! No! No! Please no!" and I began to rush to the microphone to say, "WAIT! Don't stop!" My spirit was grieved. We had unified with the Father's heart in celebrating His Son. We were being adored by all of Heaven. We were bringing so much joy to God; He loved it. It's all He really wants.

The dream ended with me pleading to the Body of Christ to stay—stay in the place of high praise. I was pleading, "Stay there, and don't leave for anything! Not for tradition, not for your circumstances, and not because of what others are doing. Be the change. Be the breakthrough. Be the one that releases the high praises for Jesus!"

Awaken the Heart of High Praise!

This year, I believe the Church is going to grab ahold of this—God is releasing the revelation of high praise. Those who hear His voice will know that He is saying this, and that He wants it more than anything.

It's time to give Jesus the glory due to His name! It's time to enter into the revelation of the KING OF KINGS. He is here to establish His Kingdom on the earth through His people. This year will be a time of activation. It's time to carry and release the new sound and authority of Jesus Christ to the world. The apostolic, governmental praise is here.
