I know the saints have prayed and prayed...and prayed over our nation and the nations of the earth. There comes a time when those prayers must be answered! We've received revelation recently that we are in a time of seeing our prayers come to pass on a grand scale!

"Aim Your Prayers, Prophecies and Praises at the Bowls in Heaven – They Are Tipping!"
I prophesy that we are in a season where the bowls in Heaven are ready to tip! Yes, we are at a critical and exciting tipping point!
"Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." (Revelation 5:8)
In the prophetic language of Revelation 5:8, we are given a stunning glimpse of the atmosphere of Heaven. It appears that in the heavenly realm, there are golden bowls full of incense which "are the prayers of the saints." Not the saints of just one generation. Not just the saints who are presently on the earth today. Certainly not only the saints of Bible times, yesteryears and antiquity.

These are the prayers of the saints, the redeemed Ekkelsia, throughout history. I can't begin to imagine the thunder of authority, power and desperation being echoed in this chorus of prayer!
A Convergence of Prayer and Praise
Now, imagine the prayers and praises of the past twenty years coming into divine alignment and synergy with well, everything! 1) The prayers of every single revivalist, reformer, and awakener throughout history. 2) The prayers of the Moravian community. 3) The prayers of the martyrs. 4) The prayers of the healing evangelists. 5) The prayers of Billy Graham. 6) The prayers of family members, friends, and clergy who paid a price to shape history. 7) The prayers of the great Cloud of Witnesses. 8) The prayers of Old Testament forerunners and New Testament saints. 9) Above all, the prayers and intercession of Jesus, the Mediator, Himself!
I sense something unique about the prayers and praises of the last 20 years coming into a divine synergy with the prayers and praises of all who came before and have gone on to glory.
"Why the last 20 years, Lord? What's key about that time frame?" I asked. I began to sense that over the last 20 years we have witnessed an unusual, supernatural acceleration in prayer throughout the earth. It all started from the great revivals of the 1990s (more specifically), to the establishing of 24-7 prayer houses, with the International House of Prayer being a key catalyst in launching this movement.
I believe the prayers of the last 20 years coming into alignment with the intercessory cries throughout Church history are READY to "tip the bowls of Heaven over!" "Take aim," says the LORD. "Take aim, because it's time to tip!"
In this season, the Lord is calling us to pray prayers and sing songs that don't simply fill up the bowls – they TIP them over!
Songwriters and Psalmists – Get Ready!
Songs have filled bowls with prayers. There is something significant about the last 20 years of songs birthed through the modern worship movement. I believe the lyrics released during this period have been filling those bowls in a powerful way. Songwriters and psalmists were given songs that put prayers on the lips of God's people, and as those songs have been sung across the earth, incense has been rising. Bowls have been filling up with intercession. Now, I sense the Lord is releasing a prophetic BREAKER anointing that will TIP OVER what has FILLED UP! (Photo via Flickr)
I believe God is raising up songs in this season that are not meant to simply fill bowls – they are meant to TIP BOWLS OVER. They carry the spirit of breakthrough upon them announcing, declaring and decreeing: "We're ready. Come, Holy Spirit!"
Christy Johnston, a prophetic voice from Australia, shared the following in response to this prophetic word: "When I read what you wrote about 'Take Aim', I saw the prayers and praises of the saints being released like arrows of fire into the glory bowls and pushing the glory into overflow onto the earth."
Lord, may our praises and prophecies be like ARROWS OF FIRE that release GLORY into the earth!
I Prophesy the Release of Revelation 8:3-5 into the Earth!
"Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake." (Revelation 8:3-5 NIV)
The prayers and praises of God's collective Ekklesia (ALL the saints) throughout the ages seem to fill up the golden bowls in Heaven...and they reach a TIPPING POINT! As a student of Scripture, I do recognize the eschatological implications of this passage in its context. While, I believe, there is a consummative future fulfillment of this, I also believe we catch a glimpse of how things operate in the heavenly realm. There is a process where bowls of prayer reach a tipping point and are poured out!

As these bowls fill up, the prayers and praises come into alignment with the smoke of the heavenly incense. There COMES A POINT, however, where the bowls fill up to MAXIMUM CAPACITY. They TIP and RELEASE a flood of God's supernatural power into the earth. Consider the dynamic language of His power and manifestation: noises, thunderings, lightnings and an earthquake. Something will shift on earth, dramatically, as the bowls tip over!
Three Dimensions That Radically Shift: Prayer, Prophecy and Praise
When you know what season you're in on God's timetable, you won't do things like you did in a former season.
For example, if we are at a tipping point and the bowls in Heaven are tipping over, this dramatically impacts dimensions of our Christian lives – at least three the Lord revealed to me. They are: the way we pray, the way we prophesy, and the way we praise. We can't pray like we did in previous seasons.
1. Pray from power, not for power. For 2000 years, we've been praying FOR things. There's definitely a place for this as we ask, seek and petition the Lord for His will to be done. I sense Heaven emboldening those on earth to shift directions when it comes to prayer. I believe the bowls are waiting on declarative, authoritative prayers. Not prayers selfishly "naming and claiming" things from God, but literally declaring and decreeing: "Will of God, be done. Kingdom of God, come!"
2. Prophesy... with NO shelf life. How many times have you received a prophetic word that you knew was God, but you had to "put it on the shelf" because it was so wild, so out there, so BIG, that you might as well have been told, "Hey, the Lord says, 'You're going to the moon tomorrow!'" But the Lord is saying, "When you receive a GO TO THE MOON prophecy, don't shelf it immediately. Pray into it. Take it before Me. Process it. Wrestle with it. Let the word begin to do a work in you."
There are too many unfulfilled prophetic words floating around because we do not respond to them with an appropriate urgency. No, we don't set out to MAKE a prophetic word happen in our own strength, or strive to operate outside of God's timing. Of course not. But we MUST receive and steward words, recognizing that God is MOVING and He wants things DONE and released in the earth. He wants to see prophecies FULFILLED, the greatest being: "'...in the last days,' God declares, 'That I will pout out My Spirit on ALL flesh'" (Acts 2:17 emphasis mine).
3. Praise... from Heaven to earth. I believe the Lord is releasing the "thunder of the throne room" onto the earth right now through psalmists, songwriters and worship leaders who, above all else, seek to hear the sounds of Heaven and translate them into the earth. They're not after recording contracts or the next #1 praise and worship hit. For the Lord says, "I am inviting My psalmists into My counsel in this season. I am summoning songwriters into this exclusive dimension of the spirit. It's highly exclusive, but the invitation is open for everyone." (Photo via Pixabay)
It's exclusive because only friends and intimates of God are qualified to hear these sounds. He's looking for friends, not professionals. Not agendas. Not opportunists. The Lord seeks friends like Abraham and Moses that He can literally TUNE in to the sounds of Heaven. "TUNE IN and TRANSLATE," says the Lord.
Psalmists and songwriters will tune in to Heaven and translate what they hear. The songs released in this season will NOT simply fill up the bowls in Heaven – those bowls are already brimming over with songs that have become prayers over the last 20 years, combined with the previous 2000 years of Church history. No, instead I see the Lord releasing songs that release throne room thunder in this season...songs that carry an authority that TIP OVER THE BOWLS and RELEASE the manifestation of Revelation 8:3-5.
So let's pray "tipping point prayers!" Prophesy tipping point prophecies! Write and sing tipping point songs! It's time...and we're ready! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
