"There is no food..."
Those four stark words are heard day after day by too many young children across Israel.
Sadly, these precious ones are silently suffering as their families try desperately to make ends meet.
Many of them have come with their parents as immigrants from Eastern Europe, South America, and Africa. In fulfillment of Biblical prophecy, they have returned to the "promised land" but found only difficulty and poverty upon their arrival.
You can make a difference in the lives of these young ones. You can give hope.
Eagles' Wings, together with our partners in the land, are reaching out to provide desperately needed food to those who are struggling. Through our Abraham's Bread feeding centers in Jerusalem and Tiberias, we provide hot meals to hundreds every day.
Recently one of our workers there told the story of a nicely dressed woman who came to the center and shared how she had been violently beaten by her husband and turned out onto the street with nothing but the clothes on her back.
Can you imagine? Forced out of the house with nothing but what she was wearing.
If that was not enough...she had a young son with her and as the little boy clung to his mother, she whispered, "I don't need anything for myself, but can I get something for my son to eat?"
