Ella Onakoya: "I Am Mantling My Watchmen to Pierce the Darkness in the UK"

Combating and depleting terrorism across the earth is very much on the heart of God...and He is speaking about it in this hour.

And we, the Church, can do our part by praying for terrorist attacks to be averted and exposed in advance!

I appreciate Ella Onakoya, who lives in the UK, writing up this powerful word to avert terrorist attacks and gives prayer points for the Body at large to pray together.

Ella shares in her word:

As many are aware, the UK has been subject to terrorist attacks since March; but I believe it is not time to fear because God has given us authority to reverse evil that had been released into our nation. Heaven is assuring us that what has been released that is not of Him can be reversed through the power of persistent prayer.

The Lord's desire is for light to overcome darkness. His watchmen are weapons in His hands which He wants to release to penetrate the very core of darkness with Heaven's light. Angelic warriors of light are gathering momentum in the UK, ready and armed to lead the Saints in victorious battle. In many ways, this is a call to individual and corporate prayer and intercession – for the power of unity will break through the darkness.

A Revelation on the Release of Sentinel Angels in the UK

At two separate times, the Lord gave me revelation concerning the UK. I believe both revelations are interlinked with a timely message for the Church of Christ in the UK. In 2014, while leading a prayer meeting, I heard the word SENTINELS in my spirit. The word sentinel means: a soldier whose job it is to guard and keep watch. The Lord told me specifically that He was going to release Sentinel Angels to protect the United Kingdom against terrorist attacks.

I immediately alerted the prayer team to pray. I believe prophetic revelations are activated into manifestation through prophetic decrees. We prayed, decreeing the release of these warrior angels into cities in the UK. For a couple of years after then, it was reported widely in the news that many ISIS attacks were foiled.

I discerned that it was the strategy of the Lord through the revelation He gave me for the Sentinel Angels from Heaven to work in partnership with the watchmen in the UK who are also called to occupy sentinel positions. As the watchmen take their watch in the place of prayer, they receive Heaven's alerts of warnings. Our prayers will then fuel the angelic beings and release them into greater effectiveness.

A Sobering Revelation Given in a Dream on March 2017

I believe this to be a revelation on the role of the watchmen or human sentinels on earth. Before I share this word, I would like to assure you that even when the Lord gives a sobering warning, He does so with the intention of assuring us victory. After all, 2 Corinthians 2:14 assures us the Lord always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ.

Whilst in Nigeria during a ministry trip in March 2017, I had a dream where I was at the security screening of an airport where bags are being checked on a conveyor belt before being allowed to go through. This conveyor belt was much longer than a real-life situation and the bags on the belt moved slowly forward. I noticed a package on the belt with the word "DESTROY" written on it, so I knew that the package was harmful and needed to be destroyed.

However, I watched it pass by me without someone destroying it. As the package moved past me, I saw a pastor, whom I knew and respected in real life, enter the security room. I felt an excitement in my spirit thinking he would certainly destroy the package. He looked at it and I could sense that he felt strong dread and unease regarding the package in his spirit.

He picked up the package and examined it, but to his natural eye he could find nothing wrong with it so he decided to let it pass by despite the unease he felt in his spirit. As the package went in, darkness was released over the UK. Thick, dark clouds seemed to cover the whole nation. Two women suddenly rushed into the airport asking if the package was destroyed and saying agitatedly, "It should have been destroyed." I woke up from the dream.

I believe the airport in the dream signified a place in the spirit where the enemy prepares evil strongholds (which was represented by the package seen in the dream) to release on earth. Heaven's strategy is to alert His Saints to the enemy's plans and move us into decisive action so that whatever is planned in the kingdom of darkness will not manifest on earth.

That was why there was an urgent alert to destroy the package in the dream. While it is important to move in a timely manner to obey the Lord, the responsibility to destroy evil is not a responsibility for just one person but a corporate call for us (especially in the UK) to stand guard over the UK in this hour when the enemy seeks to take our land captive.

Dreams usually have a 2-fold meaning (physical and symbolic representation). I believe we should pray for terrorist packages to be found and disarmed before being released to hurt anyone in the UK, but I believe even more significantly we need to pray to reverse whatever evil stronghold (represented by the package) had been released into our nation. Through the power of prayer we can also release Heaven's atmosphere to break through the dark clouds of calamity.

As many are aware, the UK has been subject to terrorist attacks since March; but I believe it is not time to fear because God has given us authority to reverse evil that had been released into our nation. Heaven is assuring us that what has been released that is not of Him can be reversed through the power of persistent prayer.

This is not the first time the enemy has tried to take our nation captive through terrorism. On July 7, 2005, several people died during train and bus terrorist attacks. Many Saints received specific calls to prayer after this event for bombs not to detonate in the hand of terrorists.

In answer to our prayers on July 21, 2005, bombs in three separate terrorist attacks in London failed to detonate as the suspects fled the scene. In my dream, the officials in the airport allowed the package to pass through. I feel a specific directive from the Lord for us to pray 1 Timothy 2:2 for our leaders and all in authority – including policemen and all security officials – that they will be alert and be given wisdom to develop policies which will combat terrorism effectively so that there will be peace in our land.

Prayer Points in Response to the Dream

1. Pray against a pervading spirit of slumber, weariness and indecisiveness that has been sent to cripple the Body of Christ. Pray that the Body of Christ will arise and be fully awake to take their battle stand in prayer. Let us pray for the armor of the light of the Lord in Romans 13:12 to mantle us for victory against the evil that is discerned.

2. Ask God for prophetic visions, dreams and revelations. Amos 3:7 says the Lord does nothing without revealing it to His servants the prophets. One of the reasons the package in the dream was not destroyed was because to the physical eye it looked innocent – though there was clear instruction to destroy it. Let us pray that the Lord reveals hidden things of darkness to us that is not immediately visible to the physical eye.

3. As we pray, let us approach the throne of God for grace and mercy in this time of our need, believing with utter faith that it is the Lord's will to release grace over the UK. With a heart of repentance, let's apply the Blood of Jesus over our hearts which cleanses us of sin as we declare grace over the UK. By prayer, immerse the UK in the Blood of the Lamb.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says,"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

4. Do not be disheartened that evil has somehow managed to enter our land. If demonic strongholds have been established in our nation, then they can be pulled down. Jeremiah 1:10 gives us keys and instructions on how to dismantle and establish. It says, "See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to build and to plant."

There is a divine commissioning to destroy that which will pull our nation into darkness and to uproot it. We can pray thus:

"By the authority given us in the Name of Jesus we uproot, dismantle and pull down all strongholds of terrorism and evil in our nation. We bind every spirit of terrorism and cast them out into the outer darkness. We pray for the hearts of terrorists to receive the light of the Gospel and turn to Jesus. With our prayers and authority we release the Lord's warrior angels to stand in their posts as sentinels and protect every city of the United Kingdom."

5. Pray for the Body to come together in unity so the Breaker – Jesus – goes ahead of us. Pray for the release of the breaker anointing as we invite Jesus our Chief Commander to go with us into battle against our spiritual enemy through prayer, fasting and warfare praise! Micah 2:12-13 says, "I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together like sheep of the fold, like a flock in the midst of their pasture; they shall make a loud noise because of so many people. The one who breaks open will come up before them; they will break out, pass through the gate, and go out by it; their king will pass before them, with the LORD at their head."

This is a very powerful picture of the strength of intercession that is released through a united Body that is being led by Jesus in prayer.

I feel all hands are on deck for this assignment of the armies of Heaven and on Earth to protect the UK and the nations of the Earth. Corporate prayers as well as individual prayer chains are encouraged to break through demonic resistance. Although I received this word specifically for the UK, I will encourage watchmen in other nations to pray the prayer points above as appropriate for their situations if they feel the need to.
