Steve Shultz: God Woke Me Up with These Words: "Little Orphan Children"

Dear Elijah List Readers:
A few years before we met Mike and Lori, who would later found SHOW MERCY, God woke me up in the middle of the night with these words ringing in my spirit, "LITTLE ORPHAN CHILDREN" and these words by Him followed, "Well Ministries."
It would take some time for me to uncover this riddle by God– but when we met Mike and Lori years ago, Derene and I fell in love with them and their family instantly. Soon after meeting them, God birthed the mission fields of Uganda and a ministry to LITTLE ORPHAN CHILDREN in their hearts. Not long after that, without knowing the second part, Mike and Lori decided to drill fresh water wells for these children so there you have it, "WELL MINISTRIES."
Even since, Derene and I give sacrificially with joy in our hearts to SHOW MERCY because GOD finally showed me where he wanted our major support to go. We even have placed for years, an ongoing ad for support for Show Mercy on our website without charge to SHOW MERCY because again, this project was God's idea before it was ours and even before it was Mike and Lori's idea.
 Now, I'm asking you, during this Giving Christmas Season, would you consider giving your best gift to SHOW MERCY to support these beautiful children? Now Mike and Lori are taking it one step further and developing a birthing center for the local community. Wow!

How many of you know you don't need a miracle until you need a miracle? I want you to meet an actual baby named Miracle. He is the lone survivor of a tragedy that should have been one of the most joyful moments ever, his birth. |

 His mother was pregnant with twins. The mother and Miracle's sister did not survive. Why? Because they were deep in a Ugandan village and could not make it to a hospital. Miracle's mother had complications and before she reached a medical facility, she bled to death.
It's a heartbreaking story that DID NOT NEED TO HAPPEN. Why am I telling you? Because TOGETHER we are going to make more miracles happen and change the outcome for many mothers and soon to be new born babies.

Show Mercy International has been working in Uganda, Africa for over 13 years. We currently have a medical center that has treated over 5000 patients this year.
Our next plans are to expand our clinic to include
a birthing center.
|

|
|
|
This will help save the lives of countless mothers and babies. We will raise up and train mid-wives and work hand in hand with the Ugandan mothers surrounding our village. The mortality rate of mothers giving birth and newborns is staggering. Together, we can change these statistics.
Imagine welcoming little ones as they make their entrance into this world and inhale their first breath of fresh clean air; touching their delicate soft hands and being one of the first people to pray and speak life over them.
When I imagine that, I think of Jesus. This is the season we celebrate his birth and together, we can help transform the community even more, but we need your help today.
