Fellow Americans,
Did you make any big purchases this year?
A new suit?
A car?
Hotel rooms for a vacation?
Furniture?
A new house?
On December 18, 2015, President Obama quietly signed a bill that gives 119 million eligible Americans the chance to collect on "consumer rebate checks" that could go anywhere from $1,230 to $12,900 for some people. There are no income requirements to collect.
In an interview with The New York Times, one U.S. senator said of the new legislation, "we have been trying forever to get something good for the middle class... and this is a jackpot."
And Bloomberg estimates that over time, taxpaying Americans will receive $42.4 billion from the program.
Sincerely,
Andrew Snyder
